I've given five stars, but with a few reservations.

Where I think the school excels is culture. Helping to foster bright, capable, confident, bilingual children in a caring environment. I haven't seen any of the endless pressure for instance that you get in many british private schools, nor the dogmatic adherence to first principles that you see in french schools. 5/5.

I really think this is rare in a school, and should be considered for your kid simply because of this: they'll come out as well rounded young adults.

On exam results, they're doing really well given it's only been going a few years - and last years bac results have been excellent. Kids have been accepted at a wide range of top universities, the only exception being oxbridge - but that will change over time. I'd say 4/5 for this, and rising.

Where they haven't been doing so well oddly is communications with the parents, which may have led to some of the reviews here and unhappiness in parents (not necessarily kids). Some of this has been over money and fees for the school. They have taken great steps to improve this over the last year and have made great progress, but still some to come. I'd say 3/5 for this but rising.

Overall, you've got to choose the school that's right for your child(ren). But I would definitely recommend visiting LIL, and feel assured that every child is cared for, nurtured, pushed, and supported here.
