The luxor was nice but our room leaked when it rained. They offered to let us move rooms at 230am after we were woke up by the water running in. My brother in laws bag was soaked and when we called the desk they sent up a bucket and towles. As we were checking, out and my husband again mentioned it to them they told us they they would have done the laundry but this was our last day so we didn't have time. They did take 35 dollars off but that was it.

As we were leaving vegas we decided to stop and burn some before our flight left. We stop to see the Titanic museum frecken Awsome, they actualy have a piece of the Titanic there. After we went down to the casino and in 15 minutes won back half the money we lost in Vegas. We Love the Luxor

Why are the rooms so drafty? Elevators and rooms were clearly not being maintained. Elevators shook and the rooms were funny smelling and they charge ridiculous prices for food in their food courts. $12. 00 to $18.00 for sandwich. Don't stay here.

The Luxor is unique and whimsical. The elevators go up an incline if you can believe that. The light at the top can be seen on the space station. Beat that! It has the Titanic exhibit. That's always a good time even if you do know how the story ends. The hotel has several eating options, all of which are very good. The casino is like all Vegas gambling halls - difficult to win. Some real innovative games, like one that behaves like a real race track. That was cool. Highly recommend overall. Be sure to sign up for the M club, which gets you discounts on room nights, when if you haven't played before.

Wow, I want to say thank you for having me at the Luxor Hotel. I don't know where to start. From when we walked in the door till the day we left the experience was fantastic. I loved it no complaints. The front desk to house employees and room service, and house keepers were wonderful. Our room was beautiful and very clean. I might have been in a recently renovated room. Thank you again Luxor.

This is my first time at the Luxor, in Vegas period. The Luxor had everything as far as amenities go that you will need.
The Luxor has everything from gambling to dining and everything in between.
My room was amazing and the thing I liked most about this whole trip was my shower. It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
The staff was friendly and we just generally had a good time.
If you're staying at the Luxor there's a tram that connects the Mandalay Bay, the Luxor and Excalibur all to one another making some of your travel time easier.
It was fairly quiet here and aside from being too far down the strip I really loved the location.
I hate to say it though but the buffet was terrible breakfast was ok but at dinner was bad! They didn't even offer any vegetables no corn no green beans, nothing!
Oh well you can't win 'em all...
I loved the pool area and just realized that there's still a lot of things we didn't get to see during this visit.
Maybe next time...
Keep up the good job Luxor Hotel and Casino we'll see you next time.

Great hotel. Rooms were clean. Half the pool area was under maintenance but we didn t spend much time in the pool. The buffet was great! There s was a lot of variety of food including crab (hot or cold). Tip: do the all day buffet for $49 and you can come in and out as you please. Staff was nice and casino was also great. Overall very happy with our stay.

This review is just as a visitor. We did not actually stay here. But I can say it is worth going and spending some minutes just walking both inside (to see the fabulous pyramid-like built floors and the decoration) and outside (with the high beams on the peak and the sphynx, even from a distance).

Great setting in a pyramid, fashionable, and lots to see and do. We went to the Bodies exhibit and Titanic exhibit which was awesome! The rooms were great and so different from a regular hotel! The only complaint would be the rickety elevators, but still cool to ride am elevator that was on a slant instead of up and down. Very cool hotel!

U really can't breathe in this place, now this is to be said for all Vega casinos but come on...if I'm staying on the 6th floor I shouldn't be able to smallnpeoole smoking in the casino 60 feet below me if I'm in the hallway.

Pretty pricey but a great hotel. Just wish they had daycare

The hotel is the same as always and I am not here to address their issues in general. I just want to warn people to keep an eye on their dealers. Some seemingly cannot count very well and choose to cover it up by dealing and grabbing cards and money so fast that you don't get a chance to catch it.

Luxor dealers please remember that 14+7+21 as well as 13+8+21.

I personally watched them make this mistake multiple times.

Great value for the price we paid to stay. Rooms are very clean and the view at the top of the pyramid is amazing! The pool is nice. The casino is so neat looking. Would recommend staying here.

Has a mix of modern and old casino. There are parts, not as crowded and kind of tuck away that also feel older. I'm staying at a hotel room here and I somehow still feel lost trying to navigate. All in all a good stay and overall break even here

such a beautiful hotel. One night here cost us 136 bucks on a Friday. Staff is super friendly and attentive. We ended up with a room upgrade somehow and had a room on the 26th floor. Only issue We had was there was no cord to roll up the blinds or window shades so we couldn t actually enjoy the view from the 26 floor. We did have to call guest services twice before someone finally came and opened we had was there was no cord to roll up the blinds or window shades so we couldn t actually enjoy the view from the 26 floor. We did have to call guest services twice before someone finally came and got the blinds up and it about an hour before we checked out. Sadly, it was raining and gloomy out. The entire inside is Egyptian themed so there are a lot of big amazing statues and some water features as well. You must try the buffet before you leave. There are so many different selections and I really loved the endless mimosas. My girlfriend and I sat there for about 2 1/2 hours talking and laughing and Revisiting the different food stations. It was $25.99 per adult for the buffet I would say that is worth it considering you can sit and stay as long as you like and eat all kinds of different foods. The Buffet had so many different stations and food selections ....fruits, salads Mexican, omelettes ,dessert ,mimosas sushi ,cereal ,bagels.....You get where I m going with this. The elevators are definitely super sketchy and they almost feel like they re going sideways. They also shake a lot. Staff was friendly and courteous. Of course there was a casino smack dab in the middle. Just be sure when you come to Vegas you have money to spend on food and attractions. I would return to the Luxor again.

The recently re-located Diablo s Cantina was the perfect spot to grab a bite before the Carrot Top show, both located in the Luxor Hotel. Fish tacos and house margaritas were great. Service quick and efficient, and we were glad we made reservations!

We stayed M-F. The ice machine nearby was broke the entire time. The shower was missing tile and grout. All the electrical outlets were so worn they would not hold a plug. There would have been a nice view of Mandalay Bay, but the windows were so dirty on the outside it ruined any photo you tried to take.

I stayed during a weekday for the rates weren't too bad, so that's about the only thing that wasn't that bad. I booked a room for a $100/night for two nights. When I checked in I asked for a high floor, at which point the agent said that I would have to upgrade to a premium room to get high floor. She also stated that the premium rooms were recently renovated. It was an additional $20/night. So I agreed. Upon walking in the room, I quickly noticed the 90s style decor with wall paper everywhere. The furniture was pretty badly battered, and worst of all the smell of smoke that stunk up the room. Unfortunately I was way too exhausted to go downstairs and complain or swap rooms. So I just dealt with it. But I wouldn't stay there ever again.

Decent hotel for the price you'll pay. However, if you're able to spend $20 more/night highly recommend a different hotel. The luxor is extremely outdated and pretty far from central strip (about a 20-30 min. Walk to Bellagio, which is considered center strip area, if you're walking relatively briskly).

This is one of the three MGM properties I chose to stay at and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. It was a very clean hotel but it had the feeling that it was on its last leg and the MGM was letting it become out of date. But all in all it was a great experience. The pool needs more attention as far as upkeep also.

The Luxor Las Vegas, NV is one of the older Vegas spots yet they still have higher end amenities. The separate shower and tub are nice. King size elite room is cost effective and worth the cost.

I came here first in 1995. It was a great Egyptian theme and extremely unique and left me many memories. I am back here close to 23 years later and was left a little disappointed by the changes. They removed all the Egyptian theme and there was no more unique flavor left in this hotel. Was still good and relatively affordable though. Staff is rather not responsive but professional and friendly. May still come back if its priced the same.

Always have a great time at this hotel. There is so much to do and it is very reasonable. There are a wide variety of shows and restaurants on site. I would recommend staying in the towers, the rooms are so nice.

No Valet service so I will only give 3 stars... You have to be able to get your Car parked for you, otherwise your doing a lot of walking. Other than that, the rooms are immaculate, clean and affordable... I recommend this Hotel if you dont mind walking and only because of the Covid 19 Virus, Luxor has suspended Valet parking but everything else is open. Happy labor day weekend...

One of the most affordable actually nice hotels. Popular with gays. Pyramid rooms all smell smoky, even if non smoking. But the tower rooms are very nice, newly redone, and clean. Nice staff, good maids, the tram to go up the strip is not helpful, it's faster to walk since it only gets you to the Excalibur one stop away. Walking distance to Park Theater and TMobile Arena.

Highly disappointed in the lack of Customer Service offered by the Luxor. Purchased tickets to the Blue Man Group and the show was cancelled the same afternoon. No considerations or accommodations were offered for the cost of our transportation (Uber) to and from the hotel even after we asked. The refund for our tickets was also not immediately refunded back. This prevented us from being able to purchase tickets to a different show while visiting. Minimally a meal voucher/ drinks or credit should have been offered.

They made my stay in Vegas miserable. I was in Vegas for an interview, I checked in and went on my way to the room after realizing they out my all the way in the back of this huge resort I requested they move me which they did. Once in my new room I walked into the bathroom for a quick shower and cut my foot. I called the concierge to complain about housekeeping and they made up for it by moving my room again. Upon arrival at my new room I quickly found out I couldn't get in because the door battery ran out. They moved me again to the west tower.

A day after my interview (and my last day in Vegas) I walked down to the pool and realized I forgot my key they didn't allow me into the pool and furthermore told me they can't help me unless I go to the front desk. At the front desk I was forced to wait for an hour for an escort up to my room. The security guard that was sent to escort me to my room, which is minimum 2 city blocks walking distance away, walked past me ignored me and left the first time. Then the lady at the front desk decided her shift was over before I was helped. I had to re explain my situation and re-wait for the security guard to come back. This took another hour of me waiting at the front in my swimsuit with just a wife beater next to a casino and a line full of people staring and by the time we got up to my room the pool was closed and my only time to go in ruined!

This hotel serves its basic purpose but it seems worn down and doesn't have as many of the nice amenities as other hotels and I definitely got a feeling of an older crowd here. My friend stayed at Mandalay Bay (connected by a tunnel and tram) and his room was much nicer. The location was good but not great. I wish I was a little more central to the strip but for the price difference I was fine ordering a few more Lyft rides to get where I needed to be. I had a blocked shower drain but I spoke to the concierge desk and they had it fixed by the time I returned so great job with that.

Decent enough hotel. Stayed in a premium pyramid room, and it seems the only thing that makes the room premium is that it's slightly bigger with nicer wallpaper. No extra amenities.
The air conditioner worked about half the time, the shower water pressure was not great, and the elevators rattle.
We had an outstanding housekeeper who kept us supplied with toiletries and towels throughout our stay.

The Luxor is huge! Beautiful inside and lots of things to do. I was exploring and got lost. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. We only stayed one night before we could check into our timeshare. Great times!!

Super out of date, no hot water in shows r and tub wouldnt drain, couldnt get housekeeping to clean room even after 4 times calling front desk. Was posed stay a week left early. Dealer stole her own tip from us as leaving table. Takes FOREVER to check in, even at a time where its not even full capacity. Couldnt imagine busy

Stayed here for a bachelor party. We all asked ahead of time for rooms near each other, but the desk didn't even get us in rooms using the same elevators (every elevator bank is locked to a certain set of floors). I reserved a premium room, but the sink drain was broken and the singular light in the bathroom was flickering... It felt like I was in a Super 8 once I closed the door to the atrium. I would rate it higher, but the front desk gave me attitude like I was a bother when I told them about the broken sink drain and maintenance never came to look at it.

It wasn't as good as other resorts we have stayed at. The pool area was busy and they didn't have enough staff. They couldn't keep the pool clean you could see trash floating in it. Other than that it was good.

16th floor double queen Pyramid room has seen better days, but was fine for our stay. Easy check in and check out. Pool was closed for repair and the small pool that was open was very crowded... and not heated! Drinks will cost you an arm and a leg, but that's to be expected in Vegas. Overall a solid 4 star.

Great location, about 10 mins from the airport, and right on the strip. Higher floors offer beautiful views of Las Vegas and rooms are comfortable and clean. However, due to COVID-19 lots of services within the hotel are shut down (business center, concierge, etc...) with little, or no indication of availability and the few services that were open were overpriced. My single (king) bed room was changed out for a double (queen) bed room without notice or reason. Their website was not much help and checking in was a bit difficult due to the unavailability of the staff.

One of the most iconic hotels on the strip!
If you stay here, it may be a bit extra, but stay in the pyramid, versus the towers. The pyramid is the main attraction here.
The rooms have slanted windows, the views are great, and whether your room exits onto the atrium or not, go there to have a look anyway, because it's worth seeing as well. Touted as the worlds largest atrium, it's something to see. The casino floor, from 20 stories above!

from reviews this place sounds very disappointing un clean rooms long wait at elevators this drives me insane the smell of smoke and weed in hotel expensive fees for rooms its obvious this place doesnt care about their guests plus its the same generic apology after every complaint in reviews looks like they wont compensate you either i stay somewhere else when i go there

A remarkable hotel at the end of the strip in Las Vegas. Highly recommend. Customer service throughout the hotel and casino couldn t be faulted. Rooms were made up everyday, with fresh towels etc. The beauty about this hotel is the light that beams from the point of the pyramid at night. You will always find your way back after a few cocktails late at night.

The rooms are nice. Decorated in a way I'd describe as fashionable, safe choices. One of the few big casinos that allows big dogs, but wow will you pay a hefty chunk to bring your furry friend and the wording on the contract they make you sign for having your pet borders on menacing. The bedspread was also white, so if your dog jumps on the bed, don't take them out on the strip where they'll get blackened paws from the street. Fortunately mine prefers the floor.

We were just here for a show but what a great looking hotel! We saw Blue Man Group and it was fantastic. The overall design of the hotel is an experience in itself. Perhaps next time we are in Vegas, this will be the destination or choice!
