Stayed here for a week so as to be able to attend the SEMA convention that takes place in Las Vegas.

Hotel is a decent size but is easier to navigate than a lot of the strip hotels. The lower floor as you arrive is the gambling hall. You then go up one level to the show rooms and the decent variety food court. From then on everything above you is rooms laid out on the inside walls of the pyramid structure.

The rooms are a great size, bigger than most euro hotel rooms for the money and the one we were in had two large king size beds.

The hotel itself is towards the bottom of the strip but it is easy to get up and down the strip either via the walkways between the casinos that can take you one end of the strip to the other or via the easy designed Uber pick up point at the front entrance of the hotel.

Staff were very pleasant and the concierge was extremely helpful when required.

Would definitely stay there again.

Fair price. Upgraded room for free on weeknight. Room was clean. Nice shower and a separate tub. Checked in around midnight on a Tuesday and waited in line 20+ minutes to get checked into room.

You definitely get a good deal for the price and location. Easy access to Mandalay and Excalibur. The rooms are decent size and the bed was actually quite comfortable. The view from the pyramid room was really cool overseeing the interior. I have and would/will stay again.

Clean rooms, very comfortable beds and good amenities. However an overzealous security guard detained our 16 year old for trying to buy a soda on the mall level by the Blue Man Group (They Rock) entrance. The guard told us he was on the casino floor trying to buy a drink at a bar (the casino level is on the first floor and he asked if he could buy a soda and they said yes) AND we had some sort of strike against our room because of this incident. Family friendly? Keep working Luxor....

Hotel was in need of a remodel as seemed old and outdated and in our room our soaker tub we could not use as it leaked into the room below. Getting the upgrade was not worth the extra money and the shower sucked.

Had a great stay, and loved the amenities! There were a few areas that looked like they were under construction, which wasn't the best look, but makes me excited to see what more they plan to add! Absolutely plan on staying again.

Nice easy place to get to from the airport. Plenty of affordable breakfast options. The place is a little difficult to get around in and could use some updating. And really only four hangars in the closet?

(Tower premium) gotta give 5 stars because the clerk was LOVELY and upgraded me for free to this beautiful room with a mountain view. She was also working hard to get the line moving which I really appreciate. If I could recommend anything I would say please make sure housekeeping staff vacuums rooms every time. Very clean room except for some random, obvious pieces of trash on the floor. Thank you!

This place gas gone downhill. You'd think with all the money going into machines that they could maintain their building. One third of the elevators were working. Sometimes causing a long wait. The room door could not be closed without using a shoulder. The carper was worn. The toiled would not flush without adding a bucket of water. The air conditioning squealed nonstop. It goes on and on. Will not return.

The Luxor is a good Hotel for the price. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are comfortable. The Casino floor is always active. There is easy access to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur, which gives you a great variety of restaurants and shops. The Egyptian theme is an interesting concept and makes it an interesting place. The staff have always been great. We always consider staying here.

I have been going to Luxor and MGM for as long as I can remember. I was born in Las Vegas and can remember Luxor being built and seeing it for the first time in my life and going into it as a child. I recently brought my daughter for the first time and I was delighted in seeing her eyes light up like mine did as a child.

It is a truly amazing place to visit at least once in your life!

The Luxor is, and always will be my favorite place in Vegas!

An Egyptian themed hotel. This place is the most stand out hotel on the Strip as it is but inside a pyramid, even the lifts are on a diagonal!

Plenty to see and do inside, although there are no cameras allowed once inside the Bodies or Titanic Experience. I went to see the Bodies and it was really good, you see parts of the body in completely new ways and you can spend a good few hours just examining everything.

Great hotel. Staff was amazing and helpful. On the smaller size when compared to the other casinos, which was nice. Do the mobile check in, took 5 minutes while others were in line for over 30 min. Girls, they don't have conditioner so bring some or head to CVS because expensive at the convenience store in hotel. One pool was under construction so it was packed and hard to get chairs. We rented the better chairs and wait service was nice.

Rooms definitely need updating as far as bedding , paint, furtniture, bathroom
Dark and depressing inside rooms
The entire hotel smells like cigarettes with pockets of weed
In room all they provide is a little shampoo and lotion
No water in room
Very long check in line: coming exhausted from airport took us 1.5 hrs to get room keys
Have timeshare vendor up front that attract you to 25 dollar discounted shows before they say who they are
Next time will pay more to stay somewhere else; unless all you want is a bed and aren t gonna be staying inside room much and want to save

Went to meet my boyfriend for dinner at Public House. The hotel/casino was clean and there was staff floating around if you needed help. Very pleasant experience. Public House was also great. Good food at a reasonable price for Vegas, timely service and pleasant staff.

Luxor was great. They were able to get my family connecting rooms without making it feel like I was bothering them like some hotels can do. I knocked off one star specifically because there was no mini fridge or microwave in either room. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

There are a lot of activities that you can do here. I suggest going on Google to search for for Las Vegas specials. You can buy a pack of three activities for $57. The Luxor has several in house activities and shows included in the choice pack that are fun. Some for kids/families and some over 28 yrs old only. We chose the Titanic exhibit. We were not that impressed with the exhibit. But yet it is still nice to see the original artifacts on display. The casino itself is very nice and clean. You can get a buffet deal where you can eat all day long anytime you want at either The Luxor or the Excalibur Buffet or go between both all day plus certain drinks. That happens to be a super good deal for +/- $45!

Place is okay, no usb outlets in the room so don't forget your charger. The pool was nice, my room was a little outdated but cozy. Room has ice bucket but no cups. They do provide complimentary facemask and hand sanitizer so that was nice.

Stay here was all right. The rooms kind of smelled musty and were definitely dated. For as much money you know as the casino is probably making they can definitely use some of that money to upgrade the rooms and stay competitive with the other hotels. It is on the strip so it's close to all the other fancy hotels as well, so if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay on the strip it's pretty good. But don't expect to be super comfortable in your room for a while, but it's Vegas...so your not really on there for too long anyway!

I'm giving the luxor five stars simply based on the fact that as a first time gambler, the dealers were super nice and patient with me as I learned different rules. I ended up having a blast just because the groups were so fun. The hotel itself may be older and needs some updates, but I will say the rooms do get really cold and I love sleeping in the cold. Had a great time overall!

First let me say that the complementary parking is a haul from the rooms. Compared to others in Vegas this one is not updated. Others have lights and numbers to tell you if any spaces are open and where in the parking lot. Luxor s is like hey. Park somewhere, maybe.

Secondly, their mobile check in was a mystery to find. They had one itty bitty sign when there should be kiosk posted near the Mobile Check In signage.

Thirdly, their elevators are from a horror film. Two of the four were rickety and gave me motion sickness. They are outdated and all the maintenance boxes were accessible to passengers.

Lastly, the room. Ours was a standard. But it s a Caesar hotel, right? We didn t have a fridge or a closet. They said a fridge was $25. I just expected more from this place. The room size was nice. Our TV was unplugged and apparently no one knew before us.

Overall, not impressed considering the rate of this hotel. The food court prices were astronomical! A whole pizza was $45!! And it doesn t even come with a show. Nathan s was the least expensive but it wasn t good either.

My opinion-if you re staying here pack a cooler with food and snacks. Expect a room to sleep in but not really to enjoy during your stay. From the elevators inward we were underwhelmed. I have always wanted to stay in the pyramid. Well we did and I probably won t stay there again.

Our room was a disaster after a night of debauchery and we were worried what the housekeeping staff would think. We came back to the room as Yolanda was finishing up cleaning. Our room was immaculate and she even organized our mess and made it look classy. Fantastic staff!

Nice small casino. Rooms need to be updated even though when you check in the say they are. The beds are horrible. Super soft and a pain in the back. People and staff are nice. The restaurants are not worth spending your money, it's like cafeteria food at best. Differently will not stay again.

The room was unbelievable. They upgraded us to the tower. We tried to pay for a second night and the price went up two hundred dollars because a convention was coming in. To me that was unprofessional and basically telling me that my business is less valuable than what they cam get from others. Probably won't stay the again. There were no apologies, the was no professionalism. We we treated not as if we were important to then, but just another number.

Well, the hotel is big and confusing and there aren't enough signs. And the signs that they have are no good. The housekeeping department was terrible. We had no coffee or cups in our room and it took 3 calls from me and 2 from my wife. And finally after 4 1/2 hours we received the coffee and cups. The people that work there were rude and acted like they didn't want to be bothered. I am not saying all MGM hotels are bad, but we will not stay at the Luxor again.

A typical Vegas Strip hotel. The line to check-in was like a Disneyland ride - 30 min wait. Had to walk a quarter mile to get to our room. The room was nice, clean. However, no fridge and only 2 bed pillows for a king bed. We called housekeeping and asked for 4 more pillows. We were told they were only allowed to give us two more.
Location is a plus. We also tried their breakfast buffet which is mediocre. Save yourself the money and head over to Egg Works (delicious and great prices) about 5 miles away.

This trip was a surprise for our 2 teenage kids for Christmas. We arrived Christmas Day. We have stayed at the Luxor several times, but I will say this one probably tops them all! We had a smooth check-in. Only one of our rooms were ready (the smaller one). The 2-bedroom suites are basically a one bedroom suite with a connecting regular tower premium room. It worked out fine because we were able to go to the smaller room, freshen up and leave our luggage there before heading out to eat. When we did venture back we were so pleasantly surprised at the suite! We had a suite one other time before they were remodeled and we actually requested to be put back in a regular room. They have really changed my opinion of the suites with this remodel. It was perfect for us! There was a ton of room. The adjoining room had its own separate full bath (just like a regular room of course), there was a half bath in the entry way of the suite and we had a huge bathroom in the master bedroom. The couch in the living area was new and clean. The table and chairs had a nice floor to ceiling window to look out while we drank our morning coffee. The cleaning people did an amazing job every day! I cannot say enough about this room. I am coming back in May for a girls' trip and we booked the same room category again. I cannot wait to see the fun we will have.

Wow!!!! To see the Luxor in the distance and then arrive feels exciting! It s so impressive. The building itself and the decor all goes with the mood. The pools? Wow!!! Wish they were open later because we were out Most of the day and missed the times to swim but looked like heaven. Surrounded by huge Egyptian statues and you will feel like you are really in another world. There were hieroglyphics in the room and all around. We really liked all of the details that make you feel like you are in Egypt! Slanted room, big window with a great view - good shower pressure and comfy beds.

Edit at 6:04 pm... Luxor responded to my review and have rectified the issues that they were able to rectify... Since they were quick to respond as well as correct some of my concerns, I have changed the 2 star to a 4 star

Sub par room standards...even though I upgraded our rooms we got moved to one with peeling paint, water damage, no fridge to store healthy snacks, and no blankets.

We had a WONDERFUL time, I was so nervous reading all the negative reviews since Covid and it would be my 4th time in Vegas, my boyfriends 1st. Please get the tower rooms! You will NOT be disappointed! They also gave us a food credit daily which was SO NICE. They also will come and clean your room if requested or you can put your stuff outside and they will exchange it. We found a lot of other activities to do since shows were closed, we will DEFINITELY be back! We rented a car and went to red rocks 20 min away and kayak at Willow beach 1hr away highly recommended Desert Adventures. High roller, and gondola rides are open!

Have always liked this hotel. We stay here every time we visit Vegas. Good location, nice rooms. Like the casino and the restaurants are really good. Great place to stay when visiting, also with being an MLife rewards members, earning the points is easy. We visit at least once a year, my husband is a higher ranked member than I am, so the rewards are nice, but that's because he gambles more than I do, lol.

Tower Rooms are definitely nicer than the Pyramid Rooms. It s a good value but the location isn t great when the Tram isn t operating. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Mobile check-in and digital room keys are a plus. They really need to stop letting the timeshare sales people into their lobby. They try to pose as Luxor employees to trick you into signing up for their free meal and $150 Visa card, , and even try to charge you a $50 refundable deposit to make sure you show up after signing up.

My Dad took us when this place opened! Had my Honeymoon there, suites are luxurious! Pool is great for kids, and adults. Buffet is worth it, rooms are clean. Room service for extra towels, or toilet paper is quick and courteous. Cleaning staff is always nice. Late checkouts are 3pm without an added fee. We stay in 2b levels, 8-9 floors. Worth it!

The Luxor is a great place to stay. We were just there for my 40th birthday party on October 15th. We stayed in the pyramid suite. The suite was ok. They were updated so they are nicer then some of the rooms in the pyramid. My only complaint is that there was paint peeling off the wall between the windows. But besides that they were nice. The elevators need some work. Last year we stayed in the tower suite. The tower suite is absolutely beautiful. We love how the Luxor is attached to the Mandalay Bay and the Excalibur. This makes it very easy to visit multiple casinos and lots of choices for food. All and all the Luxor is a great place to stay but next time we will stay in the tower suites. I highly suggest to become a Mlife rewards member. This gives you major discounts and gets you points as you play.

Once we got our new room it was directly beneath our first room and same thing with the air conditioning. We weren't trying to get an upgrade by switching rooms we just wanted a room that was tolerable to sleep in with the temp
