LUX grand gaube looks amazing since they renovated. I ate in the Turkish restaurant and the food was great, as was the service. The views are lovely and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. It is a bit expensive but not overly so. I would recommend it for anyone for a lunch, nice dinner, or to stay in the hotel.

You can describe it hard - you have to have experienced it - you can not imagine it. Cleanliness: rooms are made up to four times a day, flowers on the bed, etc. conditioning also very clean, with a few exceptions (in the back, not on the beach)

Service: many thanks to you all! Perfect service. I myself am active in the catering industry and know how difficult it is often to be friendly. Kudos to the whole team (reception, housekeeping, gardeners, waiters, cooks, etc).
We loved the warmth and friendliness of the Mauritians!

I went with Friends for a wedding and all i can say is this was one of the best hotels I have been to and for a wedding the location served as a perfect backdrop.

My only regret is the hotel was wasted on my friends and I, it s a much better location for couples!

The family spent a memorable day at LUX* Grand Gaube. We enjoyed the heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and the chill pool at the spa. Throughout the day we savoured the wide selection of ice cream on the beach. The climax of the day remains our lunch at Bodrum Restaurant. The Turkish food was divine, and service outstanding (Thank you Dhiren for the excellent service). The staff of the resort is very professional and friendly especially Nico and Nicolas from F&B. I strongly recommend spending quality family time at LUX* Grand Gaube.

We had a fantastic stay here for our honeymoon. The staff are fantastic, the location is stunning and the rooms are brilliant. I'd recommend anyone wanting a relaxing holiday to go here.

Best hotel in every sense from staff, management, facilities to super lovely beach and endless varieties of food and desert... Best hotel for kids too as the Kids club "PLAY" is so entertaining for kids with lovely team. 100 percent recomendating everyone for a must visit if you looking for total rejuvenating holiday. We hope to visit LUX Grand Gaube once again in the near future... It's simply "Heaven under the Mauritius Skies"

Hello, we spent a couple of days in the Lux Grand Gaube in Mauritius and we had just the best time ever. I travelled a lot in my life and this hotel is probably one of the best I ve ever experienced and that I can only recommand to anyone. If you have the change to go there, please try the BEACH ROUGE restaurant. The chef, Jean-Marie Maurer will make you really happy! He is a great cook and a great person! Max and his colleague are also caring for the clients at Beach Rouge...We also had the chance to meet with Vishnu, the best bar tender I ve ever met in my life, he knows everything about Gins and Rhums...amazing expericence. Thanks to LUX Grand Gaube, we will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Came here for our babymoon. The resort was spectacular and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The resort had a lot to offer, boasting several restaurants, two pools and lots of activities which catered for everyone. There were plenty of activities that were pregnancy friendly, e.g. the cinema, spa, star gazing, photography workshops. The best part of our trip was the amazing staff at the resort. They catered for everything, and if there was anything we requested, they were always happy to fulfil those requests. Staff that we would like to give a special recognition and massive gratitude at various different parts of the resort are listed below by the area they worked in:

Palm Court: Jean Phillipe, Rishi, Amit, Chef Ramen, Chef Sabiir and Chef Veena

Spent some incredible days for our babymoon there. Amazing staff and a lovely chef who could accommodate our vegan preferences brilliantly. Miss the place and the great people we met. Hope to visit again soon.

We had our Christmas Dinner here. Food was delicious, all the staff was super polite and friendly evenn though the the restaurant was full. The live music was also fantastic. Highly recommended to try and eat here.

Nice hotel with multiple good restaurants and a very nice beach. The spa is amazing and benefits from a old fashion hairdresser for men. Good place.

This is a 5 star plus property and I went to Lux Grand Gaube in April and still have the holiday blues!! It's such an amazing place, I couldn't fault a thing! The staff, the food, the beach, the pool, sports activities, rooms, amenities, restaurants all absolutely amazing !!!! The hotel is Heaven on Earth and the staff of Lux are very much helpful, friendly and caring. They wear white dress and every day make dreams come true. The best 3 days of our lives spent here and if you want to visit a caring helpful and blissful hotel in Mauritius Lux Gran Gaube is the place. Superb experience with family from the beginning to end. Strongly recommend for family stay.

This resort is worth every penny! It is beautiful and so innovative in style as well as the services it offers. I like the little touch in the Hampton decoration and some cool features like the little brushes for your feet after you leave the beach. The food also is excellent!

What a place! This is a gorgeous looking resort, with everything you can possibly want for your holiday. The health club - and it's great trainers - was impressive with a very well equipped strength and cardio section. The activities - and the great coaches - were manifold and there were many different sections to the beach so you could get exactly the type of experience you're looking for. Loved it!

A place to be!! Nice staff and such a welcoming atmosphere!

Renovated, very well maintained and nice hotel. Two clean beaches (one adult only), a large pool. Attentive and friendly staff, wide choice of food (breakfast was international in the main restaurant, lunch and dinner was also possible in a total of 3 other restaurants).
Water sports were uncomplicated and attractive (snorkeling in beautiful surroundings for example).
The room was spacious and clean and except for a mosquito also insect free.

The team goes out of their way to provide exelence service! The rooms are clean and you get all what you need, the food is very special and tasty. All facilities are in high level.

The idea of outdoor and indoor cinema is great.

The beach does not have the quality of sand and water that can be found elsewhere on the island.

Room: well insulated from the noise, medium cleaning and the smell of the furniture rest on glasses and cups.

Nice bathroom, good aeration of the toilets.

It lacks some salty snacks to nibble during the day.

A true paradise. We spent 10 days memorable: the setting is sumptuous, the staff to the smallest care and anxious to facilitate the task to the maximum, not to mention the cleanliness of rooms, facilities and gardens, but also a quality of cuisine led by demanding chefs. In short, to recommend without reservation.

Saaagenhaft elegant with suuupergiftig beach (like all 5 * hotels here) bus stop is opposite the main entrance (about 300m from the main entrance) along the driving range.

Dinner, or even more amazing : Breakfast! They have 4 restaurants as they will try to make you try all of them if you stay at the hotel!
A waiter, will properly look after your need, and you won't have to call the next course, perfect service with reasonable price!

Amazing bar, stunning breakfast (they literally have EVERYTHING, a breakfast show. Located on the beach with still a pool, activities for kids, private parking, CINEMA! A 5* hotel first, restaurant after.

Absolutely amazing hotel. I spent about ten days at the hotel before the renovation where done and even before renovation I can vouch very highly for it. The rooms where absolutely wonderful, the staff was friendly and always ready to help with a smile and the food was absolutely delicious. The variety of food served at the main restaurant everyday is amazing and the choices available for you are endless.
The spa was also one of the best part of the hotel, amazing and very relaxing.
Overall this hotel is the perfect choice for a relaxing and holiday full of happiness, relaxation and good food .

Easy access to beach and the hotel offers excellent excursions the swim with dolphins are exceptional, (but you have to get up at 5:30 or something) We booked the all inclusive package and the food was nice in different restaurants.

This place is fantastic. We had a very good time. The food was excellent. Very friendly and thoughtful staff, the service was great and the room was really great. After taking a South Africa tour, this hotel complex was the best place to relax that could happen to us. We are happy to recommend it as a honeymoon destination. We would highly recommend all inclusive for this area, that was the right decision for us. One morning I got up especially before sunrise to be able to take pictures of the sunrise and the entire facility in peace. Delightful, this calm :)
