Excellent medical care 100% 5 stars. Wonderful staff, very professional and very caring. I wouldn't hope for a better experience, it was everything great. I gave birth in this hospital, and the doctors and the labor and delivery nurses were amazing. I would strongly recommend this hospital.

My son was born here earlier this year and I could not have had a better experience. All the nurses before and after birth were AMAZING. They are all so helpful, and did not hesitate to help with your concerns or questions. The food from the room service cafe is very good also. The ONLY thing I can complain about is the size of the first room we were in. It was very small, shared room and my poor husband had to sleep in a chair. It's my understanding that the new hospital will have all private rooms. I am bummed that I won't be having another baby here.
I remember the first time we visited the hospital four years ago and everyone was still so friendly. Situation has completely changed nowadays.
My family's recent visit was double charged, we paid our first bill after insurance, and they send another one to a collection company! Wow. This became worse after we tried to explain what was happening - they ignored everything we said, and just repeatedly send their bill. We also received vocal threats and harassment.
Ended up paying double. My other friends are reporting similar billing issues with LPCH as well. Yes, each amount is not huge, but allowing such thing to happen and the attitude they take is just... astonishing. We were definitely consider suing the hospital along with the collection company, if we had the time and leisure.
The management should examine what has happened over the past years and why their service has deteriorated that much. I can certainly understand why their rating is falling below 3 on google. If I remember correctly, their had 4.5 out of 5 on google in 2013.
Great Hospital for children, I personally hadn t two treatments here and the experience was great. The staff was extremely kind, and the hospital is very clean. They also have great service dogs. The hospital had many features, and rooms to reduce your anxiety if you have any, I would really recommend this to anyone who needs a great hospital.
Awesome facilities, wonderful staff. Here for the birth on my son and the nurses here are just unbelievable. The attention to detail and the care that these professionals give can't be matched. Probably going to have another kid just to come back to this hospital
Came here for my daughters heart surgery by Dr Reddy. An amazing person and an amazing surgeon surrounding by an even more amazing team of cardiologists, doctors, and nurses.
The doctors that we've visited from this center have been weak! We've gone to the ear/nose/throat doctor, a neurologist, and a few allergists that are associated with the hospital.
There is a lot of leaning into Stanford's credibility, and not a lot of knowledge or willingness to look at a patient as an individual.
Sure, a Stanford associated Hospital / doctor looks very credible on paper, but save yourself the time and money and go to UCSF Benioff hospital or another hospital/medical group in San Francisco instead.
You are likely to get a much more knowledgable doctor who both has more experience and is on top of what's going on in the industry. Vs. a nice building filled with doctors who are riding the Stanford brand instead of deepening their experience and trying to find an individual patient approach.
Physicians are good. Hospital billing is horrible, received 2500$ bill for fetal ultrasound. This ultrasound was not actually required it was wrongly recommended by their chain of hospitals to mint money.
This place is a joke. My daughter has almost lost her life twice because of the incompetence of her doctors. We were told to take her off life support twice and she pulled through when we were told she had hours to live. Well guess what she s still alive and doing well. Every doctor who walks in has a different opinion and none of them can explain exactly what is happening to her. And to top it off they stopped treating her for rejection which is why she almost died according to the experts. Go somewhere else if you want your child to be treated by doctors who know what they re doing.
It s really bad I have three reasons. 1. Docters are rude and also the rest of the staff. 2. Killed a 3 year old 3. They said I was faking my illness, and I got a blood test and I told the doctor eat your words.
I have a question.. in 1995 I had a kidney transplant at Lucille Packard children's hospital I was 14 at d time. Am 37 now I been seen that they made a new hospital building this hospital gave me life staff, Dr Lucille Packard children's hospital it's my HOME I was wondering if I could see the new hospital. Take a tour would the hospital let me???
I suggest people go see the score of this hospital on yelp since from my experience the ranking there is a lot more accurate than the one here on google.
It is a trial hospital. They like to perform tests on children. Don't dare to refuse their medication or they will call CPS on you for medication negligence. Worst hospital ever. I wish I could give them a zero.
The nurses were great. Very sweet and loving towards my daughter as she dealt with her surgeries. The only 2 complaints I have are: the linens. I have never seen a hospital with so many stained up, hole filled sheets. We have had sheets with blood stains, yellow stains, and brown stains. We have had pillow cases with all kinds of stains, sheets with wear holes, even a blanket with a slit down the center of it. Usually hospitals throw those away, but not this one, they keep using them. Also the bedding for parents that stay bedside is miserable. Too short of pull out beds, too hard, and the chair is unbearable. Parents are dealing with enough and getting very little sleep as it is, so they could at least make it so the few hours of rest you do get, is some what relaxing, and not painful.
Thank God for Stanford s Childrens hospitol fantastic treatment and backed up research that saved our beautiful teenaged daughters life from a DVT & PE.
We were so pleasantly surprised with them and their entire demeanor. I want to cry when I think of seeing the pain on that little girl's face, but just the loving and dedicated efforts, and constant watchful care of these nurses and doctors will leave us forever in their debt!
