I went to Lost Creek late summer of 2014. It was the first dude ranch I ever stayed at. The reason I chose it was that my son worked there that summer. I was treated very nicely by the staff and all other guests. I went on the guided horse back rides and a float down the river. The pictures I have as memories are wonderful. The cabin was cozy and clean with plenty of wonderful food each meal. If you are considering a dude ranch experience I would recommend this one. You will have a perfect view of the mountains and they are so close you feel as though you can touch them.

My wife and I came for our 30th anniversary and it has been on our bucket list for a long time, and it exceeded every expectation. The views and setting was stunning. The staff was awesome and extremely accommodating. And gave us a chance to make news friends. The meals were off the chart.
AMAZING! I had been planning this girls trip for over a year for my birthday. After being under quarantine for most of 2020 it was exactly what we needed. First of all, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The staff was at half capacity (due to Covid) but you would have never known. They were courteous and professional but also offered warm and sincere service. By the end of the trip we were all friends and we definitely did not want to leave. The food was awesome and lots of variety. You really never had to leave the ranch as they offered daily hikes, horseback rides and then different activities at night. An added bonus was that they packed us a lunch to go when we ventured out to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. You could pack your itinerary as much as you wanted or relax and hang out in the lodge or go the spa, completely up to you. I highly recommend the ranch and can't wait to get back!
Lost Creek Ranch has always been my favorite vacation growing up! I ve gone with my family each summer for 15 years. From 5 years old to 20, I ve made forever memories and friends. It s a wonderful place for all ages. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the food is always amazing. There are really fun activities for all age groups and interests. The rides are my favorite part- the wranglers are very knowledgeable and you can t beat the beautiful view of the Tetons! Really recommend booking a trip to Lost Creek Ranch!
This is my second experience with a guest ranch and wish I would have returned to where I went last year.
Positives: View from ranch is beautiful, people are wonderful, the food is awesome, spa was very nice with a great yoga instructor and price was reasonable. I must stress, the people are great.....however, those items are not enough for me to return.
Negatives: Beds were horrible, lighting in cabin was very poor, didn't care for the shower head, no TV, no internet (except in a very small location by main building) and no locks on the cabin doors! The horses were lovely but the rides were pretty boring and ALL nose to tail riding with no variation as to destinations and limited to 2 hours at a time. I really enjoy having the option of open field rides where people can spread out and ride side by side if they prefer which is not available here.
We aren't drinkers so after dinner we returned to our cabin and since there was no TV or internet we had to TRY and go to sleep at a ridiculously early time because there isn't any other form of entertainment.
I feel bad about only giving 2 stars but I cannot give a higher rating just because people are nice and food is good. Granted, this was a last minute trip during COVID and they normally have other activities to offer under non-COVID circumstances, but my sole reason for going is to enjoy horse rides and I need more comfortable accommodations at my age when I travel. I like the appearance of rustic cabins, but I need comfort too, especially when it comes to sleeping. I am just glad we weren't there for an entire week and during the heat of the summer because no AC would have added to an already uncomfortable trip.
My family and I have been going to Lost Creek every summer for the last 15 years. The food and staff are always both incredible and we have made some life long friends over the years. One of my favorite parts about the ranch are the rides. I grew up riding and nothing beats riding with the Tetons in the background. Lost Creek is a great place to take children. Even though I am in my twenties now, some of my best memories as a child were made at Lost Creek.
