Open during the Pandemic. Great home-made Mexican food. Taco's, Tostada's, Burritos and Menudo the best.

Been going here for a very long time very good place.

The food is very good, especially the menudo but there is a detail because the price of the menudo to take away is given at a different price, I send my husband to buy often and I pay more than when I buy it just because it is guero they give him the price of the menudo. more expensive than me, I'm Latin, it's often enough to carry everything, we're the same, I think

Best Shredded beef nachos EVER. My family and I have been going to this location for about 23 years.

The burrito enchilada style it one of the best. The meat is full of flavor and the portions are good. They are friendly and ready to serve. If ordering to go I sugest calling in an order first. Menudo on Sunday is delicious but get here early because it sells out fast. It gets full around lunch time but that's expected for a place this good.

One of our go to favorites. Great food, nice atmosphere and in the Old Town section of Claremont so you can window shop after dining. Great place.

Food is not authentic at all. This was such a disappoint. I will never go there again.

This place has been serving up consistently great Mexiacan food for many years now and the quality is always very good. The best Menudo in town or any town for that matter is served up every weekend here. Bring your own pot for take out Menudo Sat. or Sun. morning but get here early to beat the crowd and line...

Rather cross the street to Castanedas across Chase. Not racist but this is "White People" mexican food... Tacos are not supposed to have lettuce and tomatoe its not a sandwich... Its supposed to have onion and cilantro, not great customer service but they do work fast maybe they need more people becuz they also took long. Kind of bland. Not returning.

I go here for the Menudo, although I have seen some delicious looking fare being ordered by other customers. The Menudo is clean and does NOT have the "stinky cheese" smell. I would prefer more meat and less hominy but altogether really good and tasty. Ambience of the place is a major disappointment. There's no privacy and the place has a cafeteria/hospital feel to it. Big room filled with tables and chairs.

Absolutely disgusting guacamole doesn't have any flavor no tomato, pepper, unions, like, cilantro and even a tap of salt it is just DISGUSTING... the pico de gallo is even worse absolutely no tomato just pure unions and nasty jalapenos. The meat for the taquitos has NO!!! FLAVOR chips are all hard stale and thick with is NASTY the hochata is just powder at the bottom of the cup and nasty. this is no AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant the employees are just on there phone especially the fat one he is soooo LAZYY and doesn't care about his customers AT ALL this place is DEVASTATING DUSGUSTING AND NASTY.

El menudo para la curda. Bring your pot and get there early because they tun out. There is always a line.

First time there for breakfast and I was shocked at the great food and priced very well. I all ready know what dinner is about delish lol

The food is great but the service lagged it. Felt like my waitress was the only one working all the tables. Took a while to get our order. On top of it they started charging for chips and salsa on sundays when It's free any other day. Smh

This place always delivers. They have good dishes for convenient pricing, there are no long waits even when they are full.

The best Mexican food restaurant in the area. Been going here for over 30 years. The look is simple, the service can be just ok at times, but the food is sooo gooood! There isn't a thing on the menu I haven't tried, and I've enjoyed every item. We order a lot of pick-up from this restaurant as well and they always do a great job with take out. Sunday mornings can be a really long wait.

Good Mexican restaurant, very flavorful good. Recommend.

The seating is fend for yourself but the food is fantastic. Nachos, chili relleno burrito and taco are all top notch.

Excellent food, and particularly great for takeaway. The chips and salsa are fantastic. The Carne asada combo burrito is delicious.

Chile relleno and tortas are a must try. The green salsa is delicious and a bit spicy. Red salsa is mild with tons of flavor

I grew up going to the Towne Av location first and then the one on Garey Av. The family were always nice and great customer service. The new generation, what a difference. I felt like they really didn't want my business. For the price of food, there should be some hospitality. . Im sorry to say I won't be returning.

The nachos are the best. The green salsa is so good. I could eat it on everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have menudo on Saturdays and Sundays. You can bring your own pot and they will fill it up for you.

The food is amazing. During COVID i am able to call in my lunch order and have it ready the moment i arrive. The food never disappoints, always flavorful. If you have not tried it, be prepared to fall in love! We also ordered the Carne Asada nachos because everyone around us seemed to have that. So simple and good. The green salsa, again, flavorful!

Been going hear for years.. My parents as well.. Food was always good.. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! Called in an order at 12:30pm.. I was told it would be ready at 12:45. Showed up and paid. at 1 pm, still no food. I asked where are my drinks "horchata" and they said "they ran out" very rudely and that they would give me something different like jamaica. I said no, and why would they sell something they didn't have and asked for my money back.

Ok, another 10 minutes and they gave me an order which I knew was not mine because I saw them package it. I advised the cashier that it was not what I had ordered and showed him. He said, oh, you are right, the girl screwed up taking it although he showed her the order.

Another gentleman in front of me also received the wrong order and after rude responses to him, he demanded his money back because they apparently no longer made what he had originally ordered(hard tacos, btw). As the guy was walking away the cashier said in spanish and a low voice "stupid n***er". wow, cashier was a jerk especially since he thought no one heard. It was the same cashier that took the order.

I was then was told that I had to wait. its 1:20 and I asked the old hispanic cashier with a mustache who is the manager in charge and he told me WHY! I advised him because it was unacceptable to treat customers the way he was and I was upset at their rudeness. I wanted to complain to the manager.

The Cashier and I ended up getting into a heated verbal argument that led to a challenge of a fight. I demanded my money back and advised him that they are incompetent. At this point, an obese hispanic cook flipped me of as I was walking out and I returned to address what his issue was. Another verbal argument ensued with another challenge of a fight. The whole time no one would tell me who the manager was. I am reporting them as soon as I find out who the owner is. Last time in this hole in the wall!! It is not definitely an establishment for families.

I will be honest, I come here for the Menudo on the weekends. It is fantastic, which if you were to come yourself on a weekend morning, you will see a line of people waiting not only to be sat to have Menudo, but also a line for folks that bring in their pot to take home Menudo. If it is chilly outside expect that line to be out the door or snaking inside the restaurant. Food is cooked to order, good variety including Chorizo, Huevos Rancheros, hard shell tacos, chile relleno, pancakes etc. Really great value, and they have seating for larger families too

I was expecting something special. The size was smaller than I'm used to. I've eaten many bean n cheese burritos much better.

Excellent flavorful Mexican food. Usually call ahead and get it to go. They pack it up nicely, and give you lots of salsa. Favorites include Carne Asada Burrito, nachos, and quesadilla.

Quite a find, hidden gem . Great quality and tasty food.

Love their beans and rice, by far the best in the Pomona area.
