Dr. Goodfellow has been our family eye doctor for more than 30 years. Most recently, I have taken my 86 year old father who has severe maculear degeneration. Dr. Goodfellow has been very kind and thorough, explaining Dad s condition and options. It would be very difficult to ever change eye doctors as we feel Dr. Goodfellow is so thoughtful and knowledgeable. We are also very grateful to have found him so many years ago.

Great office! Friendly staff and Dr. France is wonderful. Never waited more than 5 minutes. Plan to continue with the office in the future.

They took the time to get it right, I had to go back for an adjustment on the lenses, and they Helped me feel comfortable with my new glasses.

I have been coming to this office for nearly 25 (!) years! The staff has always been very helpful. Dr. Goodfellow is warm and welcoming and I always feel like I am his only patient by the way he talks and listens to me.

Dr. France and company are the only Eye practice I have ever been to since moving to Cutlerville back in 1985. I can t say enough good about Dr. France and his commitment to Cutlerville as well as the Byron Center communities. I couldn t imagine having to go anywhere else for my eye care. I wish Dr. France well in his retirement. He will be missed by many.

Dr. Goodfellow is an excellent doctor. He explains things thoroughly and is kind. I totally trust him with my eyes!

I had to be seen on short notice for a medical issue. Dr. Goodfellow called me himself to get the details of what was happening, and what needed to be done. His staff was able to get me an evening appointment right away.

I have been seeing Dr. Goodfellow since I was a little girl. He remembers important details and is always willing to go the extra mile to explain things. This office is such a great group and a pleasant anomaly to the current Eyecare business of rushing people through and pushing high end glasses.

I would highly recommend Dr. Goodfellow to everyone! He is very knowledgeable and explains my vision needs in a way that is easy to understand. He isn't high pressure sales...if my vision is okay without corrective lenses, he will tell me. About ten years ago, after corrective surgery, Dr. Goodfellow left his family vacation cottage for a Saturday appointment to check my progress...talk about caring! He really is a good fellow!

Dr. Goodfellow and Dr. France are both outstanding doctors!!! The office is neat and clean, some of the office staff have been there since I started going there, for nearly 15 years now. They know me by name and are always friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Cutlerville Eyecare !

Our family moved to the Grand Rapids area in 1988, and we have been going to Cutlerville Eyecare ever since. We have always been treated with utmost courtesy and respect. Everyone is so friendly, from the time that you call for your appointment, to when you arrive for your appointment and until you need to pick out your glasses; everyone is so helpful and courteous. Dr. Goodfellow takes time with you when he examines your eyes and very professional but yet is also personable. We will continue to have them as our eye care specialists. We highly recommend Dr. Goodfellow, too, as he's very good with children.

The staff does very well with kids. And are very caring.When there is an issue they do fix it properly. The doctors and staff are all wonderful.

Our family has been going to Cutlerville Eyecare for years. Our son does not wear glasses, but our married daughter continues to go to Cutlerville Eyecare for her eye care needs. We have always been happy with the thorough exams (seems to be almost beyond the call of duty!), friendliness of Dr. Goodfellow, and all our other optical needs.

My most recent visit was just as good as my first visit some 20 years ago. Still no complaints. Still prompt, helpful, informative, courteous service. When I completed my survey, I rated EXCELLENT on all points and said YES to the question of whether or not I would recommend Cutlerville Eyecare to others.

I've been going to Cutlerville eye care for over 20 years. The staff and doctors are very friendly and very thorough at their jobs I recommend them highly.

Dr. France is an excellent professional and takes a full hour to do his evaluations - unlike other places that go a little as 15 minutes for exams. He goes over everything very carefully, answers any questions you may have and customizes everything. He's even considers budget, trying to find a good contact fit that might be a little lest cost on a monthly basis.

They eyeglass I have from here are the best pair I have purchased. Very high quality frame and lens fabrication. Best pair I've honestly ever had.

Dr. France has attended to my eye care since he opened his practice in Cutlerville. He is an outstanding physician who cares for his patient s eye health needs. He makes you feel very comfortable and shows true concerns towards his patients. I feel very fortunate to have him as my optometrist.

If I could give it a no star I would. I will never go back here EVER! I picked up my glasses after getting an eye exam two weeks prior, the whole time the lady who was assisting me was very rude and snobbish. I was experiencing double vision and called back the next day and was told that I was wearing them incorrectly and that there is an adjustment period. Two weeks later still to this day I am experiencing double vision and the inability to focus. The doctor stated in my appointment that I could wear these glasses while driving at night to help with the glare and headaches but the staff say that I am no suppose to and that is considered "incorrectly wearing" my glasses. This place is a JOKE! They say they want make it right but I have to come back for another exam because it may take a few times to get it right. If you do go here make sure you get EVERYTHING the doctor says in the exam in writing!!!!

Very friendly staff, they answered all my questions. DR Goodfellow was great, explained everything well to me I never felt rushed while i was there. I will continue to be seeing them in the future!

Dr. France is the ultimate in an eye care doctor. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, listens, and is informative. The office staff is helpful and informed, also. Great choice if you are looking for an office and doctor for eye care. Once I apparently overpaid and they actually returned $10 of over-payment to me in the mail.

Since Dr. Paul France retired we became patients of Dr. Crater. What a delightful surprise to find her as friendly and attentive as Paul was! She thoroughly examined my eyes, especially in regard to a new diagnosis; and patiently updated me on any changes that have occurred.
I was impressed and grateful that Paul had brought her on!

Over the years I ve observed that my doctor is very knowledgeable when it comes to Eye care and I have full confidence in him to make the right decisions. Also, I ve noted that all the staff are friendly. I never feel like I m being rushed through so that they can get to the next person. I love Dr. France and the work he has done for me especially the fact that he will communicate with my primary doctor. I think he does a great job and feel very comfortable having him provide my and my husbands eye care. The only thing I would like better is to be able to have any paperwork the office needs filled out prior to coming. I come to the appointment from work and more paperwork in the eye doctors office is not what I want to do. Because I am not sure what they will want next which is all blamed on Obama I never have it all. E-mail it to me when I make the appointment and I'll have it already when I come in. Enjoyable for me and the office staff as they won't have to listen to me complain about paperwork. Thanks!

I had a great experience with Cutlerville Eyecare! The girl who took my vitals was so kind, I think I heard someone call her Brooke I m not sure though. I saw Dr. Crater she took time to make sure I was all set with my proper prescription and lenses that would work best for me, she s very knowledgeable! I look forward to picking up my new spectacles in a couple weeks.

The doctors are wonderful, but the office staff, however, are horrible!

They tell you that your insurance will cover a test and some contacts at 100% one minute, but then you end up getting a bill in the mail later on for them. I have been there five different times for some more testing and I kept asking them to make sure that these tests weren't going to cost me anything out of pocket. They kept assuring me that it was covered at 100%. WRONG!

Now I have a bill for over a $300 on tests and some contacts that ended up not being covered by my insurance. There is no way I can afford this amount up front.

All in all the doctors are great, but they seriously need to replace and/or really educate their current staff.

I will never return to this practice and highly recommend to everyone else to avoid it.

Lee always takes as much time as is needed to answer any questions I have and I never feel I am being rushed out of the office. My latest visit on 7/13/17 was no exception.
