I moved to Pomona 4 years ago, my parents owned a Mexican restaurant and I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food! Los Jarritos food is the first place I've eaten that matched my parents cooking, it's delicious!!!!

This is a small family owned restaurant. The food is prepared from recipes that have been handed down across generations and has been perfected. Reasonably priced and large portions. We eat there several times a week, and on Sunday morning, we bring our own pot to get buy Menudo with all the complimentary garnishes (lemon, onions, oregano, chile). You won't be disappointed.

After a long work shift I was starving and All I wanted was some Mexican food. (I looked tired, hair messy) I sat down waiting for someone to come bring me salsa and chips, maybe offer me and my family something to drink. Yet the people that walked in after us were attended right away. Wow! (I was going to bless someone and tip big by the way). Long story short, los jarritos has ok food. Their customer service tonight was not ok, made me and my family feel not good. If you want to be treated with respect after a long day at work, this is not the place.

I been coming to Los jarritos for years me and my family have been visiting jarritos since I was a child.. never have I ever been treated with the utmost disrespect by an employee. I call to place an order the employee Damian answers and puts me on hold which is totally fine I know it's sundays and I know how it gets, like I said we been coming here for years.. he puts me on hold for almost 7min and when he comes back he doesn't apologize for the hold which any person with common courtesy will do. So I ask him hey man you put me on hold for quite a while almost 7min he says it's too busy I then tell him I understand but you could have just came on the phone and reassured me (the customer) that you will be another 2min.. he again tells me it's too busy and he doesn't have enough time to think. I tell him it's not really thinking it's just common courtesy. He returns and tells me (whatever man) and just hangs up on my face!!!!.. I drive to the restaurant to see for myself who this rude person is and it's some young kid behind the counter and when I confront him about the call he refuses to give me his name and when I tell another employee about his behavior all I can see is the rude employee smirking and nodding his head as if trying to mock or provoke the situation, he never once apologized for his actions.. this employee should be fired ,suspended and retrained in customer service. I don't care if he's related to the owner or anyone there it's about customer service!!! and when you treat people like trash and hang up on them that only reflects on the type of training and type of management and the type of employees the restaurant has.. I'm not speaking for all employees as most are pretty respectful. For some reason Damian feels he can do and say what he wants .. if I could give this place 0 stars I would.. I will be back tomorrow only to speak with the owner probly won't be giving Los jarritos my money for quite a while

I have been to so many places for burritos from Los angeles, to san diego, to all over the inland empire and my favorite burrito is at Los Jarritos. The cheese, beans, and rice are the best. and its so affordable. I love Los Jarritos.

So this place isn't necessarily 3 stars but that's what I'm giving it for now. The food is great, I'm never disappointed on the taste and quality of the food but on the customer service side of things it could definitely improve. My husband loves this place and we don't get it often because it's not close to home and with the pandemic there's no dinning in so we had to get our food to go which, ok, no problem, but we also intended to eat in the car that way it would be fresh and before I left I asked for salsa, napkins, and utensils. I was then snapped at by the girl behind the counter shouting "you already have some in the box" so I said ok thank you and walked out only to find that we didn't get any of the above, no utensils, no napkins, and no salsa, anyways thats the basis for 3 stars, the customer service needs work but other then that good food.

Great Fried Chicken
Take out only...there is no where to dine in. Good size portions and very tasty. The rolls and fries are great as well!
