Wow! First time here - came to check out night races. My friend and I had killed it at Santa Anita earlier that day, and we weren't ready to be done.
This track is so neat, like an oasis. We went to the vessels club, at first glance it just seemed like a lounge (extra admission cost,) but ask for an outdoor table and your jaw will drop!
An amazing helper (kind deaf gentleman) came to make sure we were warm - set up a heater for us. Server was extraordinary!
The food was delicious.. but best of all.. the view!! Omg.. we dined overlooking the finish line. Dreamy

Being raised in the O.C.Los Al was a legend to a little girl born in '57.Santa Anita and Hollywood Park were there too.S.L.R.D.holds many memories of Legends, Dave Gorman, the much to young Lori,horse went down she hit the pole. Best kept secret in Orange County! Excellent Food, great horse racing and incredible atmosphere choices! You can't miss! The Vessels Club is the perfect dining experience!

Had fun at the races. First time there. The pereon taking bets was very helpful. Our last bet if the night (with his assistance in placing the bet) netted us $576.00. Can't wait to go back.

Me & my best friend went today to put money in our TVG account. 2nd time at the new Lounge. I won't go back.!! The guy where you pay gsve me a hard time! Asking was i making a deposit in my account. Mo of your damn business!! Secruity came over. Felt uncomfortable. Told me to go to TVGand leave!! I wont be back!! Never had a problem b4!!

Been there since I was a child. Great food, entertainment, and a nice get away for fun.

We went there for a birthday party. Watched the races from the restaurant and it was a novel experience. Some of us made bets on horses; some won, some lost.

Great place to kick it and have a couple of beers..

Good place to meet people if you like horse racing. We always have fun.

Very nice. The grounds were beautiful. I was hesitant because some people said it was run down, but looked great to me. We ended up going into The Vessel restaurant and we were given a table on the patio at the Finish Line!

The chicken tortilla soup is the best I've ever had!

Its fun place but why charge $3 bucks I cab use that money to bet on a horse

Open it up to the public and general on other days and let the disadvantaged kids or children to visit the Barnes and see where the horses are stalled and maybe have pony rides for the kids once a week and could more signs of no smoking on the track or near the track and make sure your lights are on in the parking lot and the go board on katella the back and really dirty disrespectful trash is overflowed the groom's are not respectful throwing their beer cans in their trash all over the place of cigarette butts the horses have to walk on it

Not very busy, fairly cheap (few dollars, kids are free), and parking is free. Good place to take the kids and watch some horses close up and watch races, provided you avoid the smoking areas. Too bad they will be moving soon...

It isn't the finest race track, but it is the only one the Bay Area has at the moment. With Bay Meadows out of the picture, this place attracts the true race fans from around the region. I don't get over to the East Bay enough to come here that often, which is a shame.

It was a fun date with my girlfriend. We enjoyed it a lot

Races are tremendously worthwhile. The place itself is trashy, hope they do something about it.

Awesome. Friendly. Great looking horses. Plenty of parking. Great prices.

I like it. Been a few times. Military is free. only draw back. No elevator at very top above restaurant.

Love coming here for company events. Fun, food and racing. Great day off.

Beautiful horse racing track. Very clean inside and out. Went to simulcast racing and service from cashiers and others was excellent. We'll be going again.

Vessel club....Nice...good food, fun and friends......Go Kentucky Derby !

So much fun. Pay 3 bucks to sit in the grandstand. Make sure you have the chicken pot pie.

You need to improve your help and your old viewing tv's

A wonderful facility! Roomy, clean, nice staff, beautiful track and even perfect for a relaxing day out. All the horses were great and beautiful to see. It's the first time I've ever been to a horse track. Awesome experience!

It's a nice track to sit outside and watch the horses

We had a fun time here but don't get hooked. Good for the family including kids but watch the cigarette smoke.

Working here for over 20 years the horses and people are family my family it's beautiful !!!

I should note when beginning this review that I don't bet, nor am I a hardcore horse racing fan. However I believe Golden Gate Fields is a great form of Sunday afternoon entertainment on $1 days. As others have said, admission, parking, programs, etc are only $1. Be warned, however, that the only food sold for $1 is hot dogs and ice cream sandwiches. Therefore, if you have someone with you who doesn't eat pork who wants real food they'll be stuck paying significantly more money for a cheese pizza, chicken tamale, chicken wings, or soup n' salad. You also have to pay more for real beer (not bud or bud light).

It is a good place to relax and have fun with the family

Vessels club is a nice place that is on the finish line.. Food very good but service a bit slow...

My favorite place in Los Alamitos even though it's in Cypress. So I've Been Told. Anyways it's right next to Costco that speaks for itself and this is Sushi Joint which is super awesome. There's also the Katella Deli down the street Donuts Hurst Motel and 7-Eleven but watch out for the little restaurants next to 7-Eleven pricey and they don't care about how you get your food trust me.

Great friday night out. If you spend 200 for football. Try taking 200 here and have great time. Lots of people to help you. Food drinks horses and good fun people and atmosphere. Special events for kids. Check for these.

Childhood memories are always great. Dad owned a horse and ran it here. Great family place.

It's a good place to have fun and learn more about quarter mile horses

I get an old fashion kind of feel from this place but looks modern on the track. Not to mention it is really roomy and you can have a good time betting your money here.
