I strongly advise against going to this store. Incredibly unkind service, as far as you can speak of service. and the prices are very high for an assortment that corresponds to the average office store

They sell very quickly, but the service is very bad: I bought two Visconti fountain pens for around 200 euros. They both went after around a year and a half. In the store they first said that there was only one year More
One of those little gems in the storm of huge conglomerate stores. Very helpfull staff, very friendly. Example: we bought a labelwiter here which stopped working after a year. Since we are not the most organized, we lost the receipt. They went above and beyond to help us, so nice this personal approach in an era of unreachable helpdesk. Would give them 6 stars if possible ;-) PS: I see a lot of negative English reviews...Euuuhhmmm maybe the people in the store do not master the english language that well? I am Dutch and will try to speak my mother language when I am purchasing pen and inkt in London next time I am there..Can not wait to write a review......
Extensive collection of fountain pens and overigr office supplies ... Another real specialty store where too little is left of them due to the "blocking" of the shopping streets!
from basic to premium stationary, a bit overpriced but great products. They had almost everything I needed except from a glue that I find in an art store
When I still lived in the city center, I often went here for office supplies. It was never a pleasurable experience. The people working there have a terrible attitude. On a good day they show a complete lack of interest in their customers, and on a bad day they are simply rude. I bought an expensive fountain pen there with a lifetime warranty that is now falling apart after two years of moderate use, but I'm not going back to the store with it, because I'm quite sure it would be a waste of time. Ordering supplies online, like I do now, is convenient enough, but I would support a brick-and-mortar store with friendly people attending the customers. This is not such a store, and I'd be happy to see it change owners or close.
I was looking for a particular pen, but the shop assistant did not feel like helping me. The irritation splashed. Very annoying. Fortunately they were able to help me with a big smile at the Bruna.
I live in Utrecht and needed a gift for my grandmother. She wanted to have a container where she can store addresses. I then bought this container at Kantoorvakhandel Lorje on Saturday. This was the only store where I knew I could get this product.
I paid 49.95. But now my sister seems to have had the same idea. That is why I have bought a new gift and have returned my card box on Tuesday still in the gift paper.
The man who works there unpacks the article and starts checking out (which I thought was strange since his wife had packed it for the weekend and I am still reliable?) Then I received a voucher while I reclaimed my money. I also pointed to the advertising of that boy with that remote-controlled car in the toy store. But he was unconvincing and extremely customer-friendly. I felt treated and robbed like a small child.
P.S. I have often had dissatisfied customers in this case and here too the conflict was not resolved.
What a lack of knowledge / expertise! First for a part for an (expensive) Aquarius pen; no that is not available anymore. Found the part within no time. Second time for a professional office stapler; no those staples are no longer there. Also found internet again in no time.
I bought a Dymo label printer on Thursday. I could choose from 5/6 machines but then what? Fortunately I received good advice from the sales employee. Once home, there was a bit unclear about how the printer worked. A telephone conversation with the gentleman and everything was completely clear! In short, good service, customer-friendly employee, good assortment and someone with expertise. I really enjoyed it and would definitely go back here.
Pen purchased to make drawings on a Samsung Note tablet, which comes standard with a pen that works fine. This pen is rather small, so asked at this store for an alternative. Then on advice a pen for around . 21, = purchased.
Upon returning home proved the pen not suitable too, so next day back to the shop (in the city), where I was standing quite rude to speak.
"That pen is not suitable for that at all," an unmotivated employee snarled! I clearly stated at the time of purchase what I would use the pen for, why not be told right away?
In short, for correct treatment, good service or good advice you better go to another store.
I understand that you want to be a quality store, but nothing justifies these prices (certainly not the service) 50ct for a 220 grams a4 (in other stores between 3 and 6 euros for a pack of 20) and 15 euros for a pack of a4 paper that nowhere in Utrecht costs more than 10 euros (and starts at 2 euros) simply doesn't make any sense.
If you want to ask specialist stores for prices, take your profit on really special things (unique or of exceptional quality) or provide great service. This is in fact just a simple office store like the Bruna was years ago ..
Good selection of quality products, but the prices are a bit steep and the personnel looks annoyed with your presence.. I always try Swaak (the art supplies store) before I go here.
This is awful awful store. Service was terrible, the clerk is arrogant, shameless, bold-faced. It seems that this store is operated by family: father son and mother.
I bought fountain pen here for 2 months ago, and it was defected from the beginning; there's ceasing problem. I've been using fountain for more than 5 years, so I knew it could take some times to adjusting my writing style to the pen. So I used this pen for 1 week, trying to cleansing it, and found out that there's problem in it originally. I was reminding the day the old lady gave me this to me, getting out of it from the exhibit, and suspected that it is not the new one. So I went to this store, and said that there's some problem with this pen. There was this old man, and he examined this (not exactly examing) with very irritating face, just trying his own paper, and at that time it worked well. So I just came out of this store, yet found out it's still ceasing when I try in my home.
After 1 month later, which is today, I've been this store, and there's another clerk next to this old man, presumably his son. He just examined this, trying to write down a few things, and says "it's working properly", which is ridiculous because the ink is ceasing at this very moment. And he saw this too. I knew how ceasing and not ceasing is because I've been using it before. But he's still saying that it's working properly, accusing now that it is my style of writing (which is the same word of his father), and my paper's bad quality (which is also absurd because I tried this pen for every various different papers including letter paper, post card, fine A4, books, else).
What's more hilarious is that he finally remarked "I say it for the last time, that it's working properly." And he suddenly leaves, just lefting customer behind, with very audacious walk. I was almost funny rather than upset with this more than embarassing situation, claiming that even there's no notation of proper procedure when customer argues his pen's defection. He continually ignores me, and I finally says "I want this pen to be sent repair center, namely Waterman company, because I have this guarantee card". Now he says that I can't or at least I can if I pay extra charge. I checked the terms of this guarantee, and found out that's true, which I now began to understand why that he denied it's defected because they knew have to pay its fee for sending and getting service if the defection is turned out to be initial defection. Thus I asked then what's the point if you(the old lady) said that I can get a guarantee and in actual I cannot, then what a preposterous reply! "There's no point."
This poor awful absurd silly store I've never ever met, from the beginning, all over the world, and now here I found in this middle of Utrecht, Holland. YOU HAVE TO NEVER GO THIS STORE AT ALL, and at least, never buy fountain pen in this store, since their business is basically based upon the philosophy of cheating.
*** Instead this shop, you've got to go 1)Flying Tiger (Oudegracht 118) 2) Bureaubewust Milieuvr Kantoorartikelen (Zakkendragerssteeg 12) 3)C&A (Langeviestraat) ****personally I recommend you to go to C&A, department store, because their service is really good and nice. I've been there before to look for the fountain pen I want to get.
The people working here are very rude and inconsiderate. After a difficult exchange with a rude shop owner I purchased a pen refill. After leaving the store I realised the packaging had been opened and resealed with sellotape. I returned to the shop 2 minutes after leaving to ask if I could get my refill swapped or refunded to which he ignored me only saying 'its good'. The refill had been used when I first wrote with it so evidently it wasn't 'Good'. DONT GO!
Anti-social staff. I've been coming here for years. I took the stiff service for granted, but what I experienced today really beats everything. I came back with a Scheaffer fountain pen because there was a refill in the pen the other way round, when I got home, so no refill was put in the pen. The seller was downright unkind and kept insinuating that I like it when he himself was clearly confused and said wrong things about which patterns fit. When I then went back to complain in a reasonable tone of voice about the total lack of customer friendliness, I was literally shown the door. Really shocking how antisocial they treat a customer who has been coming for years. I'm not going back, but apparently they don't care. Hopefully, the elderly lady and gentleman can retire soon and people will come to work who understand that customer friendliness is one of the main reasons that we still go to the store at all.
Edit: Neat how my message is responded to. I will reply to this on the email.
