It is a world class facility in one of the world's unique destinations. The staff are obliging and considerate. The "tents" are conformable and nothing like actual tents. The dinner under the stars was excellent and the fleece ponchos and hot water bottles that kept us warm a nice touch. The guides are very knowledgeable. A bucket list destination.

Simply cannot fault the wonderful team at Longitude 131. Had an absolutely amazing time exploring the spiritual heart of Australia - from the moment you arrive you just totally relax and enjoy - a couple of my favourites of the week - Dining under the Stars at Table 131 - Sunsets drinks and Canapes on the Dune Top - Guided walks including base walk around Uluru and Kings Canyon Rim Walk - Looking forward to returning :-)

Perfect in every detail: the service is very attentive, the rooms - bungalow tents, breathtaking views of Uluru, are bright and conducive to relaxation. As for cooking, how can you wait better in the middle of the desert? The walks around Uluru and Kata Tjuta are very supervised, probably with the aim of protecting the site and limiting effort in strong heat (42 degrees on average during the southern summer). 2 days on site seems a good format given the diversity of activities on site. The service is millimeter. If the open bar allows some liberties, meals are served to them at fixed times and in Anglo-Saxon hours: no dinner after 9 p.m., but that is not very annoying

It's one of those places where you come to think that you don't need to explore elsewhere, everything you wanted to see is right there in front of your eyes. It is one of those places you have a desire to return to again and again. It is one of those places where you breathe the spirit of nature. Comfort is a plus, the beauty of the structure has the modesty of not overriding the grandeur of the earth. One of the places that for me alone is worth the trip.

From start to finish I enjoyed a perfect service there. The food is great and the tents a dream. Even a fly protection for the excursions can be found in the tents. The excursions were well organized and informative. Gladly again!

The standard and quality of service is up there. Excellent chef also. This place is all about quality and focus on the guest experience. Well done to Rachel, Georgia, Sam, Tiana, Chris, Ben and several more! We have definitely missed some names out. Belgin and Peter

The absolute highest standard in all inclusive accommodation. The luxury tents were amazing, all with a view of Uluru so you could watch the sunset or sunrise from your bed or balcony. Every staff member who looked after us was incredibly friendly, remembered our names and ensured our experience was incredible. The tours were well managed and days flowed well with our personal itinerary.

Thank you for making our honeymoon so incredibly special and memorable. We ll be back for every significant anniversary we have for sure!

A unique structure overlooking the sacred mountain of the Anangu, Mount Uluru. Excellent service, very kind staff and always very attentive to guests' needs and needs. There are planned trips both in the morning (departure at 7am) and in the afternoon (at 5pm). The climate in August is sunny, during the day it reaches even 16/18 degrees. Early morning and evening at 5 degrees. On some trips, strong winds can also occur. Flies are very present in the hottest hours around the uluru but there is a head protection in the hotel. Few in the hotel. Two nights is more than enough.

Amazing site! surprising! in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, this is probably the best option available to explore the Olgas and Uluru mountains. Quite cozy tent, very comfortable mattress, bath, shower ... living room equipped with a wine cellar and champagne and a mini bar. All this, in the purest style of contemporary Australian homes. Very nice terrace. A board in the evening, wallow on the bed outside, light up the brazier and savor the night atmosphere of the desert: magic. The food is excellent. Great time when we get up in the morning and realize that we are in the middle of Australia with the Uluru (or Ayers Rock) in front of us.

Longitude 131 Lodge situated atop a sand dune in Uluru-Kata-Tjuta is perfectly located to enjoy the splendour of both Ayers Rock and The Olgas. The 'tents' are the epitome of comfort, with a fabulous view of Ayers Rock. You practically wake up in the morning starring at the Red Rock. At night you can snuggle in warmed up beds outside gazing at the amazing milky way sipping cognac and sleep under the stars should you wish to.This is romantic glamping at its best. On top of all this, the service is attentive and impeccable. Food is outstanding, done with fresh produce and excellently presented. The chef did his pan roasted baby Baramundi with macadamia nuts and leek ash. Need I say more. Perfect vacation.

It's with mixed feelings that I write this review. We booked Longitude 131 expecting to have similar experiences we had in other luxury lodges. Our arrival was impeccable. However, as time goes by one starts noticing small problems and lack of attention to details. A nice surprise when going back to your tent? Not every night. A unique departure gift? Nope. Willingness to make your stay special? Sometimes. Our departure from Longitude 131 was a disaster. Nobody asked us for feedback personally. It was a hostile "good bye". I felt I had done something wrong. Our return flight was delayed by 2.5 hours, which made us miss a connection but they didn't care much, more interested in having us out of the hotel than helping. Had to do everything ourselves.
The rooms are great and the views absolutely stunning. It is a shame they fail to deliver some of "small things" you expect at this price range. The food is good but Breakfast *really* needs improvement. The tours are quite nice, the guides tell the stories with enthusiasm. Just be prepared to wake up early. It's a very good lodge by all means, but it's a bit inconsistent in delivering exceptional service all the time, and may disappoint on some occasions. Do I recommend? Yes if you have money to do a trip like this every now and then and you want to come to Urulu. However, if you have to choose just one luxury lodge in Australia for a special occasion, this is not the one.

The Travelmints team stayed at the Northern Territ...

The Travelmints team stayed at the Northern Territory's Longitude 131 for our honeymoon, and it didn't disappoint. We'd been wanting to travel to NT for a while, and Longitude 131 served as a great place to stay while exploring - the staff even gave us some great recommendations of activities to do while we were there!
From the moment you land at the airport, you're greeted by Longitude staff. They drive you back to the hotel, and you get your first glimpse of Uluru on the way. Once you arrive, you're presented with a personal itinerary of events, as well as a glass of champagne, so you'll immediately feel like you're in the lap of luxury.
Whether it's hanging out at the spa, with Uluru just a glance away, or a dinner under the stars (taking place just 100m from where we were staying), it felt like the Longitude staff had thought of everything to make this a trip to remember.
If you're wanting to take things to the next level, each of their villas have a bed so you can sleep under the stars, and while you're in the NT, you'll want to make the most of the view, something the staff understand and make part of everything you do at the hotel. Want to experience Uluru and all its natural beauty? A stay at Longitude 131 will allow you to enjoy the NT, and its breathtaking surrounds, without having to give up that feeling of luxury for even a second.

I had a spectacular experience at Longitude 131. Views of Uluru are excellent and tours were great but the resort team made the experience. From airport pickup through activity scheduling, drinks, meals, tours, and information about the area and Annunu people, the team spared no effort to give great experiences. If you want to be treated as king or queen, this is the place for you.

I traveled alone but the small resort size allowed me to meet every other guest and get to know them. I enjoyed meeting people from Australia, Canada, Iceland, America, Germany, The Netherlands, England and more.
