We only had drink and kumara home-style chips, but chips' really good and also friendly staff and lovely vibe.

Went to Lonestar Albany on 9th Nov 2015, the food was great but the stand out for me was Ben. He took care of us extremely well. Keep up the good work buddy.

Lonestar has a delightful ambiance for family dinner. My spareribs was succulents, and we jus couldn't stop tasting n eating others'food! Very friendly and high quality service!

The food is soooo good!!! My favourites are the ribs because their flavour is sweet but also not candy sweet and it s salty too. I love it!!!! I also like the ice cream for dessert. It s so fancy!!! The staff is also really nice and caring! I highly suggest eating here

Always good grub, the milky bar pudding is the best dessert on the planet, staff are friendly as, great place.

It was extremely busy so we had to wait a while for food, but the food was amazing.

Service is always fast and friendly. Food is always fantastic and plentiful

Orders were incorrect. I never did get my drink and then we were overcharged on the bill. This was a Saturday night and I appreciate they were busy but that should not affect the customer. I was in the same lonestar on the previous Wednesday and spent five hundred dollars and it was worth every penny. Moral of the story, go midweek

Waited almost and hour for our meal... Meals good, but over priced for that style of dining!

The service here was MAGNIFICENT!! the food was so delicious and everything was great and definitely up to standard!! 100% recommend this lone Star star!

First visit here since moving up from Welly, almost four years ago. Food and service was good. The parking is very average, took 15-20mins.

this restaurant is definitely the best in auckland I would reccomend getting the ribs 10/10 restuarant

No matter when you go or what you order it's always the same with great service and hearty meals.

No phone booking required but if you put your name on a list you will get seated before anyone who walks threw the door

Lonestar were awesome, great service and food. They also accommodated our request for extra table for trophies for a prizegiving and also allowed us to pay separate for a big table, the other restaurants I called said set menu only, Lonestar was excellent, highly recommend.

Food was good, large portions. Kids meal are ok, but the dessert isn't great. Very long waits.

The food never disappoints and the staff are all lovely! Quite large portions though so make sure you re hungry.

Great food and venue but the meal wasn't the traditional "wow that's huge" Lonestar meal. If you are not hungry have the John Deer, it's not big.

very average food. no table service for cuttlery or water. big long hair in the burger and ran out of ribs...

We had The artisan loaf with herb butter for a starter..and the Johnny cash stash....very yummy

Just recently I had a early farewell celebrations with friends and some family members was amazing. Staff great. Awesome for big crowds and kids. The food is amazing gd potion sizes worth the money. I like to shout mates and family or close one's here just relaxing at the Albany lone star. I had the steak and egg and chips etc there was the sticky yummy ribs I tried the 9 inch burger almost heart attack lol. And there desserts the pavalove passion fruit yah..mmy

I would HIGHLY recommend the free range eggs, some would say they were EGGSCELENT. A would gladly pay triple the price listed however they don't do hard boiled eggs so 0/10

We have a very nice Valentine's Day lunch. Children loves the kids meal.

Loved the atmosphere and the service. Great place for a nice evening meal.

We came as a large group for dinner. Great food, huge servings. It was lovely and warm, we sat out on the covered patio. The staff were fantastic, great with the kids and very welcoming. Food came out fairly quickly and all at once, which was impressive for such a large group.

The food was amazing but the real reason I m writing a review was the excellent service we received from Sophie! From the minute we were seated she made us feel at home and made our visit special by checking on us regularly and making us feel like old friends rather than just another group of customers. Would visit again because of her service alone, thanks for a great night :)

No vegan options. Asked for the vegetables and mushrooms. Received a few strands of brocolini, a few rounds of courgette & a lot of mint peas. All with no seasoning at all. Also given aioli containing egg after telling the wait staff no dairy or egg. Very poor & unimaginative

Kids eat free at the moment. The whole family really enjoyed their meals, even our difficult eater!

Food quality and price does not match... meaning very expensive for very avg food

Had a real good time..... Good food..... Good waitress, really out going and funny and helpful. Going back soon. Again we had a great time.

Always have had great experiences with Lone Star Albany. The Ribs are the best. Even if you have to wait a bit longer on the busy night, it's worth it. Great staff and ownership too.

Great dinner the other night! Friendly and enthusiastic service. Wait staff were great with the kids. Mojito was very refreshing and the craft beers were a great recommendation. Earnt a $20 voucher with the app and got a free dessert. Thanks again!

A little disappointed this time. The quality seems to have dropped off. Generally I'm a big fan of lone star, big meals, great desserts but this time everything other than the garlic bread was just a little average. Can't fault the wait staff however., very attentive

One of the longest wait times I've had and it wasn't even a busy night (Maximum of 3 other tables were filled) Their only saving grace is that the food was really good and the staff were super apologetic for the waiting time.

I used to be a regular patron and major proponent of the Loan Star franchise but the current poor food and drink standard is a huge disappointment. Staff did their best, but someone is cutting corners on quality here, and it really shows. Ownership and Management at Albany, do something to uplift your standards, when we complained the waiter wasn't even surprised, a terrible sign. I'm just one of many, pay attention and change something.

Excellent service, friendly efficient staff. Meals were delicious, presented beautifully and were a good portion. It was my third visit there and I will definitely be returning.

The food was excellent, a bit slow getting the drinks.

We went here for lunch today with our elderly dad in a wheel chair and the owner was so lovely and helped us get dad into the chair and put blankets on the chair for him to sit on and for his back ..the service and food was great and then when we were ready to leave again the amazing owner came over and helped our dad into his wheelchair ..she was so lovely and thoughtful and it definately added that special touch to a great lunch thankyou we will be back .

I enjoy the ambiance and decor. I didn't enjoy the bloody Mary's that arrived with drooping expired garnish . They had no pepper in them too. But the staff did go out of their way to make us a new one which was slightly better and offered us dessert which we appreciated. We dont have a sweet tooth so politely declined. Looking forward to going back and hopefully try some steak

Just ask around decent place for a beer and a steak. Child friendly. Carpark is a zoo tho, watch for dings and scratches.

Great restaurant and there is ample parking around the venue.
Make a booking and enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Very friendly and helpful staff, they know there menu and about any special's being offered.
Portions a big, great food with very realistic prices.
We eat there quite regularly and will definitely recommend them to any future customers.

Service excelled, food was delicious and prompt, cocktails were perfect you would never know they had a huge event finish twenty minutes before we walked in. A fantastic way to spend a birthday
