I was just expecting more from a 5 diamond hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I've been to a 4 star hotel that had nicer rooms. I also did not like the fact that they only allow valet parking at $49/night with no self parking option. The staff was very friendly and I liked the food though.

were excellent.
Just went for drinks. You're normal center city hotel bar. A few craft beers, mostly the usual suspects. The music is too loud and is also nothing special--just top 40. But if you need an escape from the crazier places downtown on a weekend night, this isn't a bad spot to dip into.
I sat in the lobby and watched a football game. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed.

Good hotel. Terrible Towne parking valet at hotel. They broke my mirror, scratched my car and blamed me for it. Total lies. I stayed at the Ritz two weeks ago. No problem with valet there. If you care about your car stay someplace else.

Had a couple of cocktails at the bar in the lobby. They were great! Service was good, as was the atmosphere of the place, which was attached to Bank & Bourbon. Great visit all around.
The atmosphere is certainly impressive enough and rooms comfortable. However it is the service that really stood out. Everyone I ran into was very friendly and hospitable. Unfortunate my room service door tag order food not make it into system. Perhaps the use of technology would minimize the error prone old system. Yet once again the staff's above and beyond attitude most than made up for it as they quickly prepared and delivered my meal despite already closing the kitchen and they did so without any need for arm twisting. Bravo!

The rooms sport a classic art deco feel. Ask for the 33th floor view in the morning through the concierge. Gorgeous skyline. Their gym is amazing, equipped with an indoor pool.
Beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and bright. The bathroom are clean and bigger than normal.
Rarely do I encounter staff as friendly in all areas of hotel management as I did here. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and roomy. The views from our corner high floor room were terrific. Felt like penthouse living with the king bed, two walls of windows and light filled bathroom.
I submitted the survey directly to them but to summarize, bad guess service and bad staff attitude. Reservation was also screwed up.
Absolutely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. We stayed there for our anniversary and we were treated like royalty our entire stay. We loved it so much we decided we are going there every year! Philly Phil is the man (Bell Captain)
Rooms were great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the clean space during our overnight stay. The only hiccup in the whole visit was the parking--what a mess! Recommend considering other options for lodging, or at least parking, if you're driving in.
Had cocktails with a small group at the bar attached to the lobby. Environment and staff were incredibly inviting. Cocktails were interesting, well made, and fairly priced.
Did not stay at the Lowes but ate at the Banks & Bourbon....absolutely awesome. The NY Strip melted in my mouth. Very impressed

I have been Platinum Elite with Marriott/Ritz Carlton and now SPG for 7 years but if I travel to a city with a Loews I definitely always stay at Loews.
4 stars because the bathroom was kinda dirty, which is the last place you want to be dirty besides your bed.
Walked to Liberty Bell and museums and went to the restaurant Charlie Was a Sinner which is AMAMAMAMAMMAAZING.
Despite the nasty toilet in the semi-dated bathroom here, I will always choose Loews when available. The best Loews in the US is in Tucson AZ, if you're ever in that area. In fact Loews Ventana Canyon is my favorite hotel in the world!

Great hotel and accommodations. The staff was very friendly and the millennium ball room was an awesome venue. The food service was great, especially the salmon.
Great location downtown and an excellent restaurant/bar in the lobby. That being said, for a modern hotel in a busy city I was disappointed with the inconsistency of the housekeeping staff and even more so with the incredibly slow WiFi. It's 2015! Shouldn't WiFi just be everywhere? While they do offer a "premium" internet service I experienced dial-up speeds after paying an additional $15/day which was definitely not worth the price. I did receive a refund after complaining about the slow speeds but services like this should just work. Motel 6 even has high speed internet. Overall, my stay was decent. I just wish they'd focus more on the little things that can really make or break a guest experience rather than just relying on their convenient downtown location.

We will stay here next time we are in Philadelphia. The service was outstanding and very welcoming. The location is perfectly centralized for site seeing and close to all the night life hot spots. The history of the hotel is also very interesting.

Slow revolving door, which can be annoying. The lobby was so so, lots of seating but not maintained very well. There is a nice coffee/snack shop in the lobby, but it closes very early in the day, which is not helpful. The elevators, although there are many, are pretty slow.
Found hotel on expedia, called to make a reservation verifiying that it was OK that I am only 18 (Credit card in my name) and they said no problem. Requested a quiet room as I informed them I was having an early surgery and would be arriving late evening after classes. They would not allow me to check in and were extremely rude. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
The views from the top floor are amazing. Enter through the parking garage entrance and you ll see the elevators. Take the elevator to the top floor and behold the amazing, almost 360 view of Philadelphia!
Right in the heart of urban Philadelphia, a great place to stay for several nights. Lobby level services are beautiful and efficient. Rooms are clean but typical hotel rooms.
Location is incredible. Six blocks from independence hall / liberty bell. A block from reading terminal market. Our rooms were nice, fairly large. Staff was kind and courteous. Did not try the bar/restaurant, but it was crowded and lively every night.

Fun location for afterparty. They kept half the bar area closed despite there being 4 wedding parties there though, making it a bit crowded.

We stayed at the Loews on the 4th of July to watch the fireworks with our young daughter. The room was nice and clean, and the location near the 13th street restaurants was a happy bonus.
