Loews Philadelphia Hotel Review

I paid for parking as part of my room rate. But I was still charged for parking. When I requested a refund from the front desk, they told me to call the parking authority. When I questioned them because I thought it was a billing issue, they said, "no this is a parking issue." Frustrated, I called parking. Left three messages where each person said they would have their manager call me back. Three days later I called but asked for a Loews manager. The front desk person didn't connect me to a manager. Instead the front desk person (same job title as the person that said it was a parking issue) refunded my parking and apologized for the inconvenience. I can see this happening at the Best Western. Loews proved themselves to be unorganized and NOT a high end hotel property. Next time I come to Philadelphia, I'll be going back to the Marriott across the street.

The hotel is beautiful, and clean. The location is perfect for going anywhere on the city. The only thing I was change would be keeping the pool open later.

Great hotel, restaurant and customer service. I attended a seminar there, and forgot my boots in my room. I called and they shipped them for free to LA. I had the most delicious room service ever, and the beds and pillows are the best of any place I have stayed at, in my life. We paid extra just to stay in bed and sleep longer before heading back home.

I feel as a law abiding citizen regardless of race regardless of ethnicity or what have it is in fair business practices to lie to the consumer who stays quite often within the Philadelphia area because i travel a lot because right now I don t have a home of my own to escape shelter life ill treat myself to a hotel stay and i thought the day after 4th off July i cried watching the fire works from my shelter winders near broad and popular streets.. this establishment double charges me for a venue and calls it a pre authorization refusing to look into the matter they get an attitude when you question their practices if my memory serves me correctly a pre authorization happens when the same amount is charged not a totally different amount... I ll stay at the marriott from here on out this leaves a homeless man feeling like systems are still corrupt and totally unfair practices for an appearance of lavish but corrupt and dirty practices INTERNALLY

elevators were slow and the valet system is not efficient

It's a great place when budget is of no concern. The staff is friendly and the quality is excellent. It's a pretty tall building so it affords gorgeous views if you're able to stay on a high story.

Clean and well appointed rooms, friendly staff. A little long of a wait to get the car and had to remind staff a couple of times to distribute gifts bags to guests staying for our daughters wedding, but they did a great job.

I was at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel for a conference but didn't stay overnight as a guest. It was a good experience. The catered food was very good and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

The housekeeping assistant manager was extremely helpful and professional

Great location. Center of everything. You can walk to most city attractions. Staff was great. 5 stars for this 4 star hotel.

Bad management, we had bed bugs in the room and they were unapologetic.

Got kicked out while trying to take a picture of city hall

This is our favorite hotel in Philadelphia. We stayed in room 2907 this trip and it was large, clean, and elegant.

Rooms were nice. Good use of space and a decent decor. Staff was friendly but the cleaning crew was not as attentive as I would like.
Stayed 2 days, and they didn't change out the dirty glassware left inside the melted ice in the ice bucket.
Also upon check in, the previous guests soiled sweatpants were still in the dresser drawer. When I called the front desk to claim the item for Lost and Found I waited over 30 minutes and no one came to my room.
The food provided for the company meeting was very good.

The staff was very helpful in answering all my questions. They accommodated all my families needs. A very special thanks to Munna, the sweetest guy, who went above and beyond in making our stay pleasant.

I ate dinner at Bank & Bourbon located on the first floor of the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel. The food is phenomenal and the service is first class all the way.

Visit friend from out of town who was staying there. Company was in town for the Week. Great place .

I was able to get a room at the last minute when my other plans didn't line up and it was the best plan B i loved my experience in Philadelphia this time around and i been there a few times but staying at the lowes made it....i don't know how things where without C19 but for staying in a hotel during a pandemic it was clean and the staff was 5 stars...Thank you all.

Very professional establishment and you always see a concierge outside. However their guests tend to be very snobby and when you are walking past the hotel they come out the door and can get upset if you're in their way lol by being on the sidewalk.

Lovely hotel in Center City Philadelphia, close to the convention center, Reading Terminal Market, restaurants on 13th Street and getting around to historical district and other parts of the city.

The accomodations were great, the place is beautiful, and the staff is amazing! And we were there on 2 different nights at a special price. Love this place!

Msnbc and cnn playing on large screen in lobby. Made me very and uncomfortable. Very racist vibe in there. Won t ever stay at Loews again. Think about your clients and don t be political. Networks are hate filled fake news

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Philly. It is an old bank and the architecture is really neat. The elevators are loud near guest rooms and you have to wait a while for them. Staff is polite and helpful.

Loews is in an excellent location and has wonderful staff. The drink list and food menu at the hotel bar are a must try.

Didn't stay here stopped in with some friends for some drinks. Service was a bit rude & irritated because we came in a bit late. Asked if the kitchen was open & in return got a no followed by a smartass suggestion. A simple no would've been enough.

We stayed here overnight for an event and we couldn't have gotten better service. Room and staff were fantastic and we would definitely recommend to any friends.

Check your credit card statement and beware of being over-charged!

I was over-charged $114 for a one-night stay due to a "system error". After much back-and-forth, was finally able to get the charge removed. The rest of the stay was great though.

This is the most uniquely beautiful hotel I have ever been to. I came here for an anthropology conference. The architecture is stunning, and the view on the 33 floor is breathtaking.
