Loews Miami Beach Hotel Review

This hotel has potential but the amount we paid for the amenities we received was not worth it. Won t be staying here again.

Love this place, great service, very attentive staff.

I loved this hotel.... but their customer service is good and horrible at the same time! The bar/food service was 10/10... the front desk employees, 8/10 & the valet was a bit of a mess. I understand hotels as such get very busy but we called a total of three different times and gave them 30+ mins each time, yet still had to wait additional time for our car to be pulled forward. The hotel itself gets a 10/10 from me. Though the service NEEDS to be worked on.

Don't get stuck in tower #2, the old St. Moritz...older, smaller rooms and non working elevators. Felt like my freshman dorm at a state university. Friendly staff and nice pool scene for kids, however.

Had dinner at Lure Fishbar, one of the best meals I've ever had. Got the classic lobster roll with the lobster Mac and cheese. Server (Dennis) steered us the right way on appetizers, entrees, etc. Amazing all around.

Excellent service and accommodations. I would stay at the Loews on every trip to Miami Beach, if I could get a room at even close to the $160 per night that I paid.

I'm wasn't the gameplay if no man's SKU and it's it's a key for have to watch while you eat

Excellent customer service employees. Everyone I came across was very nice, polite, friendly and professional. Very nice room and bathroom too. From the Bell Boys when you arrive to the Maid Staff, everyone is excellent.

Stayed there this past labor day wknd, i was enjoying my stay until I realized there had been a $400 incidental fee (which was not specified when i was asked for a credit card for incedental fees) so i shrugged that off. The Hotel was nice and clean and was comfortable, but as soon as i got home i noticed i recieved an additional charge of $25 on my card. When i called to speak to the accounting department the rep said that fee was a beach chair fee? Keep in mind i never seen this fee on the print out during my stay or on the itemized print out when i checked out, and also keep in mind i paid resort fees out of $209.56 that i owed to the hotel for parking, microwave, resort fees and a meal at the restaurant on site, but never anything about a beach chair fee!!!!!When i asked the rep why was that not on my original bill her reply was "they brought the beach chair card after i checked out" but i never even went to the beach, i didnt have time to!!!!! Then tell me what 5 star hotel has you pay $30 additional for a microwave in your room if you want one? lowes does!!!!! Moral of the story is it's a great stay however when your bank account gets nickpicked to death you'll wish you'd stayed somewhere else!!! I will never support another lowes here or anywhere.

The Loews once again went above and beyond our expectations. Their service from the minute we walked through their doors till when we left was exceptional. We always look forward to our yearly stay here for SoBe WFF.

The place is great. Amazing amenities. It has the culture of Miami room have great views and you can certainly tell they're not cheap. However the prices are higher than market rates in my opinion.

One of the best resort pools in Miami Beach. But the scene is very G rated for Miami, good for families and friends of.

Great location on South Beach, nice comfy bed and good eats. Also free access to lounge chairs, kayaks, SUPs!

Yoga classes at Exhale Spa with Angela are amazing. The spa itself is great with a steam room, jacuzzi and Zen room. Highly recommend!

I loved it here. The staff was really friendly from the valet guy to the receptionist. The only thing that was annoying was all the construction going on and pool being closed for remodeling but the nice rooms and staff make up for it

Super clean and friendly hotel, super location - just 2 mins from ocean drive. Beach accessible. Hope they were not affected by hurricane

I have stayed at a Lowes before and the one in Miami Beach was really bad. We arrived with our infant and there was no crib even though it was requested and confirmed ahead of time. It was 1030PM and it took them another 30 minutes. The room we got was not the one we paid for and our rate was twice as much as the current room they put us in even when I pulled it the day of. We were told there is an event so they are booked and that is all. We cancelled and went to another more accommodating hotel. They charged me for the Cabana I cancelled well before the 24 hour cancellation policy and it took me three weeks to get a refund. It also took my three weeks to get refunded for the days I cancelled minus the cancellation fee. The staff was not very helpful or accommodating and being from Miami, we easily found a much better hotel in the same area.

Beautiful Hotel , excellent location , great service but be ready to spend $$$$ a lot..you get what you pay for...

Not very sound proof... noisy at night. One mixed drink was $20. Breakfast buffet for 2 was $88. Parking was $40+ daily. The employees were super nice and the pool and beach were awesome. Be prepared to rent a beach umbrella for $27 though. So although it was a beautiful place, they really rake you over the coals on purchases. I hate that.

I was at the spa level of the hotel and a woman fell and dropped her beverage. A huge spill was left at the level for, I'm not even joking, 3 hours. Not one member of the staff was there to clean it up. Even after someone told management. I just thought with the reputation this hotel has they would have done a better job 1. Attending to the woman who fell and 2. Cleaning up a spill that someone else could have hurt themselves with instead of leaving towels down as the best solution. Wow.

I had an amazing experience at the hotel, the room was always clean, the view to the city was surprisingly good. Enjoyed the pool and the bars too. I highly recommend the food of the bar and the restaurant.

Wonderful hotel. There are refreshments in the lobby and the beach is behind it. Everything was very clean and bright.

Very nice place and location. Cafe/Store area did feature employees that would rather you not bother them.

Beautiful resort ! The staff treated us with the best service I ve ever had, held doors carried our bags just over all exceptional . The pool was beautiful. Sits on the beach and very close to all the shops and restaurants. Our first time in miami and we will be returning for another stay at this resort!

Stayed next door and our mouth was watering the entire time.. Looks like a very nice place to stay..

We were quoted a very different price from our hotel And when we got there the price dramatically increased just make sure you check their prices before you go or pay something else. I declined their service I recommend that to those who read this to be Cautious.

Excellent Beach front hotel - great service and super clean

After leaving an unsanitary hotel down the street, the Lowes was a breath of fresh air. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was beauftiful and right off of the beach. The location was great as we could get to shopping and resturants all within walking distance. A beautiful hotel with great customer service.

Beautiful views , beautiful streets, beautiful experiences throughout this entire property, best time to go and visit and book and this location would be during the summer because it's hot and during the winter everyone goes here and usually not the summer that's to my knowledge my best consideration to anyone to visit these time tables, thanks again Loews for the opportunity to enjoy your amazing property you have provided me to stay

My friend and I went to the bar for drinks and appetizers. Bar tenders Grace, Jorge and Chris were really great. Good conversations and great recommendations from them. Grace, thanks for making our old fashioned drinks the right and only way! Jorge, the mojito was delicious! The octopus and wings are a good choice. I would rate our experience an 11 out of 10!!!

We originally booked for 3 days. However, after the very first night we extended our stay for a total of six days. The view, the bed, the shower, the linens.... everything was perfect. I was completely satisfied with my stay with Loews. I could go on and on....even down to the carpeting selection. Just beautiful. Keep it up. You have my business wherever I go.

Me and my sister had dinner at Lure on a Tuesday night. The vibe was lovely! Vibrant for a weekday but still laidback. Dennis was our server and we gave him control of our menu. The entire meal was fantastic! I cannot recommend Lure enough!

This hotel was awesome! I especially recommend it if you like interior design.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel for 3 nights in January. The pool area is gorgeous and very designing. The staff was really friendly. And the location is everything. You can walk to restaurants on Lincoln Rd. or Ocean Dr. within minutes. The beach is right at your feet. I'll surely be back.

Absolutely the nicest stay I have had on a vacation in the last several years. The room was excellent overlooking the Atlantic and spending time on the balcony with my wife was a delight. Love the updated lobby and the staff, especially the concierge, was extremely helpful.

Bar and food are horrible at happy hour. Don't waste you time or money.

The service is best in class at the Lowe s in South Beach. Hands down the best hotel to stay at in Miami. I ve stayed here before and will be staying here again. I m am writing this review specifically because of my recent stay. I was 6 hours early to my check in on Monday and was up for 30+ hours due to flight complications. Because of the amazing service they upgraded me and got me a room to check it right away. It s the little touches like this that make the Lowe s the best in all of Miami.

I love the Loews in Miami and have been staying here for many years. It is well-run, with large, comfortable and quiet rooms, a beautiful boutique and central location with an easy walk to shops, Lincoln Road, and other hotels. It is beachfront with a large pool and access to its own stretch of beach. Beach chairs are usually included in your room rate (but ask first when you check in). It attracts all age groups: families, couples, angles, girls weekends, etc. it has some of the best room prices on the beach considering it's oceanfront location and amenities.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Everything you need in one location. The staff were always polite and very helpful. The only downfall was my husband and I both had trouble sleeping due to the bed being very hard and pillows too soft. I would definitely recommend for everything else.

Hotel is fine. Happened to be under construction during my stay so many services and amenities were closed (including the room's balcony that was closed and off limits). I had a minor maintenance complaint with the room that, to their credit, was handled professionally and resolved quickly.

No major complaints, simply bad timing for my stay.

This place is a JOKE. Poor management, poor front desk. When they make a mistake, its lies lies lies. Thanks for ruining our stay with your missteps and lies. Reading all the latest reviews, looks like you are totally slipping, loews. I wouldn't stay here if i was paid to. Not a family hotel, not a peaceful hotel at all, just pure trash. My advice to anyone is to go ANYWHERE else

The hotel was great. The service and pool were next level. The only drawback is the limitation of vegetarian options in the restaurants.

All staff have been super nice. We were assigned a room in the 2nd building (the Art Deco building they are marketing it). Although it is a nice room there are some designs flaws that were bothersome while traveling with 3 kids. In the hotel room, the entrance hallway/foyer, bathroom doors, and closet doors all coverage at a very narrow section creating traffic jams. The faucets seems to leak water onto counter tops in bathroom (may very by room of course). While the bathroom is quite large, the shower is really small. Just one little soap dish in shower leaving no space for soap and shampoo/conditioner etc. In addition, there were no towel rod at all. There were two hooks and a handle on outside of shower door that the housekeeper would hang a towel. The AC vent blew right onto the beds so we were chilly at night. Very small window (bolted shut). No rooms in this building have balconies. Beach was nice. Soft sand but water s little rocky. Pool staff excellent. Very attentive with towels and water, etc. My son got stung by jellyfish and at first the pool staff didn t know what to do, but once the right people were notified they were very accommodating. The drop off circle with valet was convenient but they didn t let you hang out for long. After about 5 minutes they got antsy and wanted you to move along. Sometimes it s hard to unload 3 small kids and all paraphernalia that goes along with it in 5 minutes time. None of the cons were deal breakers, just good to know.

We stayed 3 nights @ this hotel. When we checked in the receptionist gave us the option to pay a resort fee ($26) and we said no we r gonna pay for whatever we actually use @ the beach so we dont pay for things we wont do/use.. The day we checkd out they charged us $26 per night. We talked to the manager about it and she said it wasnt optional. They should've told us that the day we checked in so we couldve had used what we paid for! They need more friendly receptionists who actually explain the way things are!

Staff was great had a party of 12, prices was ok, food is Bar type of, hamburger, wings, fries, etc etc
