It was perfectly located. Our room was nicely decorated, a bit on the small size for 2 beds. Security was tight. The walk from the hotel to the shopping area and theater was longer than anticipated by us. Anyone with mobility issues should take note of this.
Such a beautiful hotel! The view from the room is gorgeous!
Fun place, clean, modern and well located. Oh, and the food is excellent and well worth it.
Have had the amazing opportunity of staying here once during a conference and have always remembered that fond memory as this was my first stop ever in LA. Til this day, it continues to bring great memories. Gorgeous lobby, clean, spacious, amazing rooms, unparalleled customer service, and lovely views from wherever you stay. Don't even get me started on the PRIME location and how it conveniently connects to the mall. 50th floor and above is just breathtaking. Wish the rates were more affordable, but definitely worth it if you're looking for exquisite service and accommodations. Can't say enough about how great this hotel is.
Love the hotel. The streets were a bit sketchy though...
All hotel staff was extremely kind and helpful while there
Excellent location and service. Exactly what I would expect. Great amenities and the location is perfect for anyone traveling with or without a car. You can walk to nearly every "Iconic" Hollywood area. The remainder of locations are just an Uber or Shuttle away. Beautiful pool and views. The room service is always spot on every time I have been and these views are great.
The views we had were of the mountains and the Hollywood sign. The room service is on time and fresh and I would think there was a kitchen 20 feet outside the door it was so fresh.. We did not try the deserts but had picked them up from Ghirardelli across the street.
I went for a couples massage and felt pressure to leave before enjoying amenities.
Stayed here over New year's and had a wonderful experience. Suites are very spacious and had exceptional views from the 17th floor. Bar/breakfast was well put together and staff was on top of everything. Only unexpected item was the $50 cover for valet parking. We opted to park in the garage ourselves which tops well below $50 a day.
Classy hotel with a nice view on the Hollywood sign. The swimming pool area is perfect to organize cocktail events.
Awful parking situation which wasn't explained at that front desk. Took 15 minutes just to get to the room from parking only to see the beds were full not queen. So not worth the price we paid. Tiny bed and tiny rooms. The pool wasn't heated enough to swim at night. No hot tub. Stay somewhere else.
Relevance and the best comfort and elegance that you can think of in the restaurant is a place ...
Its awesome you can valet your car there if you're going to the Hollywood bowl for an event, it was smooth going in and out and we had a nice bottle of champagne and appetizers at the bar for a couple of hours before heading off, will definitely use it again great service
Location is awesome it's in the heart of Hollywood Blvd...but the great thing is that you cant hear beep of the craziness outside once your settled in relaxing for the end of a busy day.
Rooms are plush, comfortable, and very quiet, in sharp contrast to the neighborhood.
Very nice hotel in a great location , and SOME staff are nice. But in my stay , a multiplicity of occasions, the hotel will attempt to take every last penny you own , and rip you off . My stay included breakfast, but on checkout they attempted to charge fully. In happy hour in the lobby bar , the waiter charged full price for drinks until I addressed this FALSE advertising....
Love the team; especially the cooks at Preston! Amazing and personable!
Great location, connected to shopping at Hollywood and highland. Beautiful, spacious rooms and great views. A little pricey, but worth it.
I found an extremely good deal on this hotel via Hotwire so I chose it for my one night stay in the area.
Check in - The staff were friendly and efficient.
Room - My room was on the 12th floor so I had an amazing view of DTLA, The Capitol Records Building and The Hollywood Sign. It was inconvenient having the refrigerator locked with the mini bar though and there was one stop of the credenza in the room that had some water damage and bubbling.
Check out - once again staff were friendly and efficient. The one drawback is that I checked out on Tuesday and now on Friday the $100 hold for incidentals is still showing on my account.
The experience was very nice and the seance was great.
Staff is friendly, rooms are clean and meet with expectations. I arrived early but they were able to get me into a room on a day where an entire conference was checking in.
Disgusting place, disgusting people, the place was dirty, they refused to give me a clean room, after I had already paid for my stay. Would rather sleep in the car next time. The managers and staff are very unprofessional. Please don't go there
Well cared for hotel, good location, parking is in the mall parking lot.
The spa is great. I bought a Groupon for a massage and facial and both were divine. Would definitely recommend.
Located in the heart of Hollywood and Highland, a great place to stay but there is NO JACUZZI!!! It's ok.. Love their location and staff.
Like this hotel the service was great and the atmosphere excellent...will stay for sure and very close to Hollywood blvd
Took my money did not get my deposit back when I checked out been three weeks already still no deposit
Very nice hotel and great location if you are doing the Hollywood thing with or without the family.
Really nice hotel, centrally located to the Hollywood and Highland Center, as well as to many other Hollywood locations. The service was great, and the amenities were very nice
Come around the Academy Awards week and you will see your favorite celebrities here
Cant beat the location! Right in the heart of Hollywood! And the staff is great!
Awesome hotel and experience! Great service and got a great price on the room!
Location ! Views ! Fun & Trendy !!!
Stayed there for 3 nights last week for a work/fun trip.
LOCATION: The hotel is perfectly located, directly on the Walk of the Stars! It is adjacent to the Dolby theater and interconnected to 4 floors of shopping and entertainment. Moreover, the fact that only hotel guests have access to the 5th floor of this complex (where one can snap the best shots of the Hollywood sign) made us the envy of other tourists.
DESIGN / ROOMS: Thee hotel itself as a modern, contemporary vibe. The room we had (1739) offered a killer view if the Hollywood hills and surroundings. Our room was fully equipped but beware of those minibar prices !!
FOOD: They serve Starbucks coffee and decent pastries at their "Bodega" coffee shop. At almost $40 (with taxes and tip), I found their breakfast buffet quite expensive; especially given that the food was good but far from memorable.
FUN: In the daytime, you can relax on their rooftop swimming pool. At night, the lobby gets "lit" with amazing live music performances and sexy patrons coming from all over town.
OVERALL: I don't think we could have picked a better hotel in the Hollywood area, period. Would love to stay there again !
This is a perfect hotel in the heart of all the action in Los Angeles. It is located right next to the Dolby Theatre and has a nice view out towards the Hollywood Sign. Comfy beds and great facilities.
I stayed at Loews for 5 days , it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel . The Hollywood shopping, walk of fame , restaurants , take outs you name it is not over 5 min walk .
Friendly staff and very helpful with guiding on LA If it s your first time in LA. Free WiFi and it also have a car rental office in the building and Starbucks. It s a big hotel and the front view you can see the Hollywood board
Close to the Hollywood sites. Had a great view of the Hollywood sign for our room. The staff was attentive and pleasant.
Horrible service. Horrible staff. Thanks for nothing Loews Hotel. I made a reservation and had to wait hours to check in. The manager was a jerk and kept saying there was nothing he could do. Buddy, you didn't do anything in the first place. Never again!!
Wifi is weak. Food in the area is ok. Shopping is great
Well, what can I say... This place deserves 10 stars!! Location couldn't be better, downtown Hollywood with everything within walking distance. Great outdoor pool, jazz entertainment and a variety of mainstream shops surround this heaven of a hotel. Their happy hour menu has the best selection I have ever seen from truffle fries to poke tacos and grilled cheese accompanied with a side of hot tomato soup. Great wine selection, lots of local wines, priced from $7?? Lounge area was private and serene. La Bodega offers Starbucks and a selection of salads, eggs, kombucha and fresh fruit. The outdoor heated pool was relaxing with towering views of buildings, dim lighting. Staff was remarkable! Treated like a Queen from start to end.
Lance Robinson, the concierge was so incredibly helpful. We were running late to the Kanye West show and hadn't printed our tickets. He helped us efficiently and with a smile. We thought we were doomed but a las, Lance was most hospitable and professional. Love Loews Hollywood.
Stayed multiple times, the rooms are small in my opinion but the customer service and location makes up for it. I love that everything is within close proximity.
The place and the location is great. Lots of things to do around and inside. The in-room dining is crazy expensive though even for that area. Consider eating out in the restaurants surrounding the hotel.
The location was great if you want to be in downtown Hollywood. The rooms were very nice.
Stay for two nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and open. Room was great, good view.
Customer service at the front desk was wonderful and courteous, but from there you go to the bellman which is absolutely an F....they couldn't be ruder. I literally wanted to trip him. But then to the room , as soon as the rude bellhop left the room Was nice and the room service food was excellent
For a luxury hotel I wasn't very impressed.
On-site recreation was poor (pool was small and no hot tub). Self-parking was in the adjacent mall and we had to lug our luggage a block to get to the lobby. All elevators are secured using keycard access, but it was really frustrating to use because they located the reader 18" from the floor and it was very sensitive to exact insertion... Come on guys, RFIDs you can tap have been around for four decades. Room was poorly ventilated and made you feel muggy any time the air wasn't running (this was December mind you, not August). Bathroom has worse ventilation and gets damp after one shower. Shower itself was very narrow. Last complaint... we asked about late check-out rules and charges... some of the most expensive I have ever come across.
One major positive was the view. Coupled with a room that was attractive and relatively spacious, and general patience with the other issues, it still turned out to be a nice stay.
But on the whole, I'll be choosing different hotel next time.
This Hotel is awesome the view I got with my room and the people here are fantastic.
We LOVED our stay here at Loews Hollywood Hotel! My daughter and I stayed last week from Monday till Friday. The front desk people were professional, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and we had the perfect view of the Hollywood sign. I think this has to be the best place to stay in the perfect location! We were able to walk to everything! Hollywood walk of fame, restaurants, shopping and even Jimmy Kimmel. Lots of picture taking opportunities right there. I have to add that they are completely honest as well. My daughter left her diamond necklace and Tiffany bracelet in the hotel safe that I had opened and got my things out of but she forgot to take her two most cherished pieces that she got for her 18th birthday. We realized about 2 hours later when we were at the airport. We called the hotel and they went up to the room and they were there. They are shipping them back to her today. My daughter is very thankful for their honesty because she was heartbroken thinking they would be taken. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Thank you!
Great location. Fantastic staff and clean rooms with amazing views of the hollywood hills
Great rooms great professional space really Good customer service I would definitely recommend
Self parking is not part of the hotel, but is shared with a shopping center. So you pay Everytime you go in or out of the parking lot and could be more than the flat rate advertised by the hotel's page on Travelocity.
Nice location near Hollywood and Highland, great views, easy access to tourist areas. Nice rooms, clean. The reason for the 2 stars is I was harassed by a night hotel manager. I was walking to and from a venue for a job I was working. Walked back to the hotel exhausted, ended up tripping on a non painted cracked piece of cement and landed on my knee. I walked up to the outside seating and sat down at 1am to take a break and mitigate the pain. Hotel manager told me I need to get out of here and to "move along". I asked if the front outdoor seating was closed or something he said, no, it's for guests only and I should go. So I got up, got out my room key and went inside. The look on his face was rather priceless...yet I was offered no apology. Not the type of service I expect from a hotel as expensive as this one...especially after a long day of work and being temporarily injured.
The staff made us feel like we were family! Valet service was worth every penny. Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Hollywood and has open views of the Hollywood sign. Rooms were beautiful; furnishings very modern and elegant. My only concern was my sensitivity to mold and mildew smell in the shower. I never got around to notifying housekeeping but I am sure they would have taken care of it.
Very high standard hotel.
Clean and tidy and excellent service
Nice place. Hollywood is dirty. Pricey but close to touristy things.
Very nice hotel convenient for Hollywood Boulevard. Cost 70 to 80 bucks to airport in a cab.
It has really well sized rooms and the service is excellent. Being in the middle of hollywood city most of the major attractions are easy to get to and there is a restaurant with really good breakfast. It does only have breakfast and lunch but there are many restaurants around so dinner isn't gonna be hard. Parking though is an issue here as its $50 for a Valet service (per day) or if you want you can self park in a huge parking lot which is slightly hard to get to (you have to walk a good distance) and you have to pay each time you come and go ($17 for a night or $2 per hour)
Enjoyable stay in a crowded area. Very helpful and friendly staff.
worst place on earth! service is horrible! if you are ever in LA and looking for a place to stay, you would rather sleep on the streets than this Hotel!!!
I find that it is a very beautiful hotel and that in terms of cleanliness it needs to be improved
This hotel is astonishing. Beautiful atmosphere and nice bar
not that bad reasonable price, i think its really beat up and over run .... plus it's in hollywood which bad and good ....
The staff was polite and helpful, and the facilities were clean.
