Loews Hollywood Hotel Review

The rooms were clean! Location was prime, right in the middle of Hollywood.

Nice rooms and facilities. Great location by the Hollywood Walk of Fame next to a shopping center. Gym and pool are ok but not great (no changing rooms by the pool, so-so workout machinery in the gym).

They need a better entrance & more space for parking.

Everything was very nice.
Like a good HOTEL should be.

Loews hollywood was so perfect for us. Cuz there is lots of entertainment attraction. You can feel like have a time in Las vegas!!! All of staffs were very kind too.

King bed suite. Loud noises from some mechanical closet near by on the third floor. No main light in the room. Long lines to check in. Keys stopped qorking. Been in line 10 minutes waiting to get a new key

High class and high quality, love the design of the hotel. Haven't seen the rooms but I assume they are nice. Parking can be tough to find

Nice location if you want to see the touristy stuff like the Hollywood sign, the Hollywood walk, the Chinese theatre, etc. Nice rooftop pool. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Rooms were very clean and room service was attentive. From desk was courteous and handled issues I had quickly.

I did not like that for enter from the self parking to the lobby we have to go around the street and walk to lot if you still do not have the key to the hotel. I think it's a plan for you to get the valet parking for 50 dollar. When we went to the pool someone told us we had to leave because they had a "private event". And the employees are a bit arrogant.

Sure the street is kinda noisy even from the highest floors of the hotel. But just being able to say "yeah gimme 10 seconds and I'll meet you on Hollywood blvd" that's something! ;) Also the room are great and perfectly equipped for a few week stay, the hotel has all the commodity you could think of and the staff is absolutely lovely!

Nice location and rooms are nice as well. Their facilities are also good for events

Our favourite hotel in L.A. Above the famous Chinese Theatre , across the road from Jimmy Kimmel studio. Nice pool. Awesome Lobby bar, right in the. corner of Highland and Hollywood Blvd. Walking distance from the Rose Bowl and 10 mins to Universal Studios.

It's a nice hotel, staff and cleaning crew were great, gym is nice, location is good. Don't like that there's no fridge for guest use. It only has the hotel drinks in it. We had a bloody towel and puke on the outside of our toilet. For the money, I would think it would be cleaner.

Clean building, confusing elevators because you need to swipe your card before you can get to your floor, friendly staff (multiple staff members made me laugh in the elevator or lobby)

Had a lovely 10 day stay. My room overlooked the pool, I asked for a view of the Hollywood sign but they couldn't do it. We also had two rooms booked and we were put on the 5th and 9th floors and again they couldn't do anything to put us closer. The room had two beds, but small doubles, there was no bin in the bedroom only a small one in the bathroom so it was hard to dispose of rubbish and used Starbucks cups ended up staying for a few days. It was a quiet room but my friends from the 5th floor couldn't visit as you need a 9th floor room key to go that high in the lift. I liked the hotel but not the surrounding area.

I visited Loews Hollywood for a conference and it was a nice experience. The hotel is big with modern rooms. The room has nice big windows with a view of the Hollywood sign and whatever else is going on. The conference rooms and spaces are also nice. The concierge did a great job of making area recommendations. There are a lot of great things you can walk to around Loews.

The only things I did not like about the hotel were that there wasn't any space to put your toiletries in the shower. The standup shower with the tile is nice but there is no shelf besides a tiny one in the corner. I also thought the fitness center was quite small for the size of the hotel. There was hardly enough room to move around and there were a number of people in there.

This hotel is the worse hotel I have ever been to and I been most locations Loews hotels in Miami Atlanta I been a lot their property s on July 30th someone ran over my foot right on Loews drive way and hotel staff allowed the man get away without taking his id and when I was in pain only thing manger said to me is here a free pack ice. Poor poor staff under staffed... it s been six months and not one person from hotel has reached out to me. I don t recommend anyone to ever stay here I ll never stay at another location ever again

Super clean room and facility. Heart of Hollywood easy to get to places. Parking is priced high. Self park is cheaper and it is located super close connected to hotel. Happy holidays !! December 24 2015

I was here for a business trip. Internet is slow compared to most hotels but otherwise it's a great spot and very central to tourist spots.

We had a great time at the Lowes Hotel. It's right in the heart of hollywood with views of the hollywood sign. It's attached to a great shopping center with restaurants and shops including the Hard Rock Cafe. It's also across the street from the El Capitan theater. My husband and I were there for 3 days and had no issues with any staff. They were all very nice and helpful for any questions that we had. The hotel is very modern and the room was much larger than I thought it would be. The $13/day parking is literally next to the hotel in a huge garage with tons of parking spots. It's a quick drive to the WB studios and Universal Studios (less than 10 min without traffic). We would stay here again if we go back to the hollywood area of LA again.

Hotel not bad, staff great,. Price not cheap at all....
The bad part is that you can't sit or be in the lobby because of it's noise. I have never been to a lobby that was so noisy the whole week (including nights)!!!!!

Location is super convenient, just a street over from the metrolink stop and right off the Hollywood street. You can see the Hollywood sign from the higher floors actually, which is pretty cool. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and the rooms were in good shape.

Just wish they provide more heads up that if you book online you still need to swipe a card. What if somebody else decided to gift me a room stay?!!! In my case It is my job and my boss was the one supposed to pay, but they're not right there WITH ME!
The only way was fax documents and it was after 5 pm and so my co-workers back at the OTHER STATE had already left. I had to wait in the lobby for 5 HOURS even though I had thought I got everything they needed. AMAZING Location though! Wish they provide some food though.

Nice rooms but the elevators are such a hassle having to insert your key to go up to your floor, especially when there are many people coming in, because the elevator will go to the first floor number pressed, and skip over the ones below it....

Always like Loews hotel. In Georgia, it is one of my favourite hotels. Here, in L.A. the hotel is at very convenient location, Hollywood boulevard, Hollywood & highland, Dolby theater are right around the corner. Staffs were very friendly and professional.

The staff is very friendly. Well placed location for tourist areas.

Ascap has their membership meetings and 3 day seminars their yearly and that's why I was there. They do a nice job.

Visited in April for my birthday & were delightedly surprised to be upgraded to the Producer Suite. AMAZING! The views can not be beat, the walk in closet to die for & the amount of space in the suite made us not want to leave!
Andy at the front desk could not have been more friendly or helpful with booking reservations & making recommendations.

Awesome place to stay, parking is pricey at $45 for vallet or $15 for each time you enter and exit the underground parking lot.

Stylish, location is really convenient, and staff are incredible.

I would give this hotel 5 stars but the beds are terrible!!! Other than that it s beautiful and the location was great. Close to the Hollywood Blvd and just an uber ride away from Universal Studio s. Great food as well. Super nice staff! Our view of the Hollywood sign was also amazing. I would stay here again if they get better beds

This hotel is located perfectly for tourists like me. When you walk out, there already is so much to see. I had a fun time walking to the Hollywood sign :)

Good place to hold small to medium events. Parking is reasonable. Great views of the Hollywood sign. Traffic is what you would expect from LA.

This Hotel was beyond Excellent. From Tbe Valet Manager Corey to The Conceirge to the Manager. We stayed here for three weeks. Everyone of tbe staff knew us on a first name basis. This Hitel was above and beyond Excellent. We were told it is in fact The Best Hotel in Hollywood. We will definitely stay here next year again on our yearly trip to Hollywood. Everyone was so i formative with suggestions of things to do and places to go

A bit pricey but you got to pay for five stars no don't you

Hotel is in an ideal Hollywood location for the Walk of Fame and the rooms are clean with friendly welcome at the front desk. Valet was in the upper range at $ 50 a day, so Self Parking is more worthwhile. We had two rooms ending in 07 on different floors. The lift of the cleaning staff is right behind and that is clearly audible in the room - would ask for another room next time.

We had booked the hotel for the second time and were full of anticipation. After the long journey, it was suddenly said that the hotel was overbooked and we had to stay at the Sheraton Universal Studios.
Thanks to my travel agency, we were able to spend the last two nights here.
The hotel is expensive, but the location is really great. Right on the Walk of Fame.
If you want to be in the middle of the cake right here is right.
The parking is very expensive, be sure to park in the parking next door!

An excellent hotel, ideally located for the Hollywood district and possibly West Hollywood which is not far away and is super busy! From my window, I had the view of the Hollywood sign!

I seriously love this hotel. The room was very modern and comfortable. The service was very good; the lobby employees were very knowledgable of the area and helpful with directing us toward local landmarks. The hotel was in a great spot with all the attractions within walking distance from the lobby. The views were also great, I would definitely stay here again!

There are definitely Pros and Cons. My wife and I stayed here on Saturday night and Sunday morning. We booked the room via an online traveling site. Being right in the heart of Hollywood and Highland, it's a happening place with night life, but at the same time, LA traffic was almost a nightmare. You will have to park in the H&H parking which costs $17. The room itself was quite nice. The shower stall (Not tub the room we stayed) looked nice and clean as well. The check out process was very easy. You can text and just drop off your key in a box. However, a couple of days later, i saw 2 charges on my credit card - one from the online reservation and separate I got charged again. I filed a complaint and about 12 days later the hotel refunded me through credit card. So this experience was a bit mixed.

Rooms and service were great. Could improve on quality of some items. Our corkscrew broke when trying to open a bottle of Wine because the handle was made of cheap plastic.

Great customer service and very clean. Great location for walking around Hollywood
