Great location, good staff. If you're going to the Hollywood Bowl or just want to be close to the true LA then this is an excellent choice as a place to stay. Walking distance to many local attractions.
Clean and quiet rooms. Friendly staff provide exceptional service. Fabulous location. Close to Runyon Canyon as well as several tourist style attractions and shopping.

We felt more than comfortable here, for us it was the best hotel on our road trip.
It wasn't the size of our suite at Mandalay Bay, but nothing was missing in the room.

The rooms are great and the staff are very friendly. The pool is beautiful. The only issues we had was that our key card demagnetized several times. The location is a bit seedy with a lot of homeless people and a lot of drugs. Not the place to walk around alone at night.

I enjoyed staying here, however we got charged for the fiji water that was included with the mini bar even though we didn't drink it.. $13 for a bottle of water that was sitting for so long in a room it had condensation on the top would not be my preferred choice of beverage. Also water at the market in lobby is $2 a bottle. Aside from this, the hotel is conveniently located near the Hollywood walk of fame.
Decent hotel, good location if you're interested in staying in Hollywood. We had a king room on the top floor and you could see the Hollywood sign, room was really spacious. The lighting wasn't the best however - no overhead lights only lamps? Staff at front desk were efficient and friendly.

This was a luxurious place to stay yet totally unpretentious, very low key. Every detail was attended to, no fuss. Very relaxed. Excellent location for the Chinese Theatre and the Kodak etc, both within minutes.
The staffs are kind. The lobby area are kept tidy. There are outlet on the table so I can work while waiting for my partner.
Incredibly friendly staff. Stayed here three (four?) nights on business for a convention. Clean, large rooms. A great view I didn't have time to enjoy. Most importantly - Comfy beds.
It's rare that I stay at a semi-local hotel for work but the client put me up due to time/work demands. Glad they did. Would highly recommend.

It's a great place.. With an awesome view of the city.. Plus everything is close buy and stores everywhere around.. I really enjoy de pool.. If you are in Hollywood you must spend the night there.. You won't be desapoiment..
Wonderful place to stay! Pool is amazing. Restaurants are top notch. Access to the mall and the Chinese Theater are great! However, parking is atrocious and expensive!

Located 2 steps from Hollywood Boulevard, the hotel is located in one of LA's tourist attractions. The services are adequate for a hotel of this category.
It's convenient if you can stay in Hollywood where you can walk anywhere in the center of the city, but the room you were first guided to is south facing and you can see the roof of a huge facility, the view you expected, and offer immediately It was great to see the mountains and the Hollywood sign if I had the north side change.
The standard rooms are large and the windows are large and there is no need.
However, I could not sleep because it was noisy until midnight whether there was a party in the next room. Too noisy rather than thin walls!
For a car rental user, a large hotel may be a bit inconvenient due to the fact that the car can not be released immediately.
Staff are professional and friendly . However hotel did not provide complimentary water, coffee or tea .Utility like Kettle is not provided. Neither does it provide Bathrobe or extra pillow.

Bartenders are really less than to be desired. Service is ok.. but it's like they really don't care. Doing the minimum to get the job done. Flirting on the job creating delays in service etc. Could be better.

Great hotel! First time at a Loews hotel and I was pleased. It has that modern/contemporary atmosphere. The only thing I didn t like was the pool, I felt it was small for such a big hotel. Service was good and location too. If you like to hike, it s within walk distance from Runyon Canyon Park.
Very unique experience and friendly staff best food
Only complaint is parking is $17 per night and no continental breakfast for such an expensive hotel. Air conditioning in room wasn't working but they came and repaired it within a few hours. Nice access to street activity and places to check out.
Awesome location, view and amenities. The hotel staff is incredibly accommodating and they have excellent catered food service. I'm very pleased to have stayed here and look forward to coming back!

The Loews Hollywood is in the heart of Hollywood. Is a great location and the facilities are amazing as well. Lots of dining and entertainment around this hotel.
The room was dirty when we checked in ( blood in the toilet) the staff are not friendly at all and for this to be a 5 star hotel they should be on there game, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
I was a guest at Loews Miami hotel. When we stopped in at Loews in Hollywood they would not let my family put luggage in a secure room while we ate lunch- at Loews!! I guess being a guest at Miami Loews and being a guest for lunch at The Hollywood Loews for
Lunch is not good enough for Loews. They nickel and dime you for everything and then treat you like crap when you are their guest for lunch.

I can not recommend this hotel in any way for a hotel in this price range I would have liked a better service. Due to the fact that we have too much luggage at this charge there interstitial despite asking why our request was not heard we find it a pity that we had to start our trip respectively to check in empty bottles in the room we had to ask several times to get a cot.

We found this hotel to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in on our travels. It is pretty much close to all the major attractions. This hotel will be our top choice during our next visit to Hollywood.
Very nice hotel with a great location for sightseeing in Hollywood
We used the hotel for the valet for parking to get to the Hollywood bowl on a Friday night. The location puts it within a comfortable walking distance of about 20 minutes and is a straight shot. At 40 dollars its not the cheapest option around and is comparable to bowl parking right on site, although it was way easier to get in and out of compared to the bowl and you can depend on your car being safe. Wait time to get your car depends on the night. You are promised to get your car in about 10 minutes although we had to wait about 30 because we got behind some bachlorette party. The staff is friendly. Not a bad option although not the cheapest .

Great location, 2-min walk from the Chinese Theatre and the walk of fame, nearby major tourist attraction. We were allowed to check in early and got a room facing the Hollywood sign, which is a plus. Seamless check in and out experience. Great service by the staff. Also there's a Hertz in the same building which is convenient.
Great hotel for a great city. Despite being very close to Hollywood Boulevard, it is not too noisy. Great views from south-facing rooms, which show a panoramic view of the whole of Los Angeles. Three rooms are a little bit old, especially the bathrooms, however, it is sufficient for anyone s regular needs. The service is top notch, with very polite staff and cleaners. I hope to come back again soon!
Loved the hotel. We spent 5 days, myself, my wife and my son. We have nothing to complain about. The service and location are excellent, as are the staff, always smiling, friendly and attentive. It is next to the Oscar Theater and the Causeway ... very good!
Rooms were nice, service was nice, I found that everything was overpriced. Not to be unexpected from a lux hotel in downtown LA. My company paid for this hotel and I'm not sure if I'd return on my own payment.
We used valet parking for a comedy show. Staff were friendly and quick.
This was a very convenient location overall. Close to Hollywood Blvd (tourist trap). Shopping right outside the door convenient to sunset strip or a hike in the nearby park. There's so much to do in LA and so spread out, but thought this was a good base location with enough to do walking close or not an awful drive.
I had a terrible experience checking in. I paid for the night via a 3rd party. After waiting for 15-20 minutes at check in, the registration clerk said he couldn't let me check in because my driver's license was invalid. This is the same license that I used to fly into and out of LA, to rent a car, and to check into 3 other hotels in the greater LA area, yet it wasn't good enough to check into Loews. What ensued was a 2 hour check in process that was only made possible by negotiating a cash deposit. It was infuriating, I missed my dinner reservation, and no one from Loews has been able to explain to me why they had a problem with my license when no one else in LA or anywhere else ever has. It's been over 2 weeks and the Loews management has not responded to my complaint. Suffice it to say, their customer service is terrible.

The Dolby Theater, Walk of Fame, Chinese Theater are all right behind this hotel! It was a really nice hotel, the check-in staff was incredible and the proximity can't be beat. It was also so easy and quick to get Ubers to go around town.

Loews really stands out in amenities and location. With it also being attached to the main plaza, you gain awesome access to restaurants and shops. A family hotel that everyone will love.
This is a nice hotel in desperate need of a technology refresh.
The room, service, and view have all been excellent. Tons of amenities. But don't expect the 90s-style magnetic strip keycards to work more than half of the time or the wifi to be reliable.
