There were 10 of us. Dishes looked good. I heard no complaint. My Chile relleno just had a 4x4 piece of pepper under the 'ground' bf and cheese sauce. I had a combo plate with an enchilada also. It said no substitutions which is fine but it was ground bf also. I would have thought it would be cheese or chicken. Just not 2 things the same. I prefer shredded bf but that's personal taste. It was tasty and filling.

Food was decent at best. Server was not so great. Brought an empty bottle of A1, barely at our table and brought dirty silverware. Guess they count on the half naked girls to keep business.

Usually have good Mexican food but we ordered steaks this time and they were bland af. And they didn't even put alcohol in our long island ice teas. On top of that they have their underage servers serve you alcohol. Thought that was illegal. Hate for these kids to get in trouble when they don't know any better.

Went out on Christmas eve and got warmly greeted and promptly seated. Tortillas were out quickly. Our server never left us high and dry the food as always was excellent all 4 dinners enjoyed their food.

Menu items are very bland. In the simplest term, they are horrible. Chili Reno had no chili, hamburger meat in burrito is not seasoned. So why 3 stars? They have authentic mexican chefs. Strongly recommend ordering other than menu. I simply ask for something authentic mexican and give free rein. I've had five different and spectacular dishes, clearly THE best mexican quisine in the area. Chili quiles is phenomenal. Lately, other table guests disappointed with menu items tried my dish and said that they would come back and only order off the menu. So 1-star menu items, but 5-star non-menu yields 3 stars. Saturday live music, Thursday karaoke, with an excellent bar, and you have a hopping joint. Prices are reasonable for mexican restaurants $10-$12 plates.

Stopped in because tacos sounded good. We had the taco, burrito and chili relleno and steak quesadilla The chip salsa was tomato soup not salsa or anything near salsa, it was tomato soup just like the kind that's come in a can. The steak quesadilla was a big steak taco. The taco was meat with no seasoning and lettuce. The chili relleno was so so because the meat had no seasoning and the pepper was hard to locate. This may be a nice bar that serves Mexican food but it is far from a Mexican restaurant. We tried it and now we no better. Bring back Del Taco!!!!!!

My second time visiting. Great service, good food. Generous portions. On top of that they sell alcohol on Sunday. House beer is only $1. We all got something from the lunch menu. Total ills were under $8

Loco Mex, Jacksonville, is a local favorite. It's generally our choice when going Mexican. Service is great and management is always present. He seems to run a "Good Ship". Food is always good as well

Busy and something about the meat season(?) Or cooking(?) Was off. I had sausage cheese dip with my taco. Quick spicy dinner and sweet tea. Turnover after a big rush. I believe someone has left the door open.
