The food was beautiful however I really felt let down by the service. The bar staff were lovely but the table service was cold and not welcoming. My partner and I hadnt been out since having our baby so thought it be nice to go somewhere special for his birthday. Maybe they don't like having young children, our daughter is 8 months..I don't know.. i was really looking forward to our dinner bwe left early and I'm doubtful we will go back sadly. Prior to this I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant

The setting is very pretty and the music is perfectly in sync with the restaurant. The food was gorgeously presented and full of flavour. Unfortunately, not all staff members were courteous, smiled, or polite. Most were rude, abrupt and seemed to want us to leave. If the service was better then it would have 4 stars. Also, very pricey for a restaurant just in West Wickham; I've had better, for less, in central London!
The restaurant has an eclectic collection of food that doesn't really know what it wants to be. More often than not meals end up coming out like school dinners instead of actual restaurant meals.
Without doubt the best restaurant in the south east of London. Service, food, attention to detail - everything is perfect. I've seldom experienced such a perfect meal. Highly recommended. I know for a fact they care a great deal about all their customers and the meal they have. Thanks for making my brother's 30th birthday truly superb!
Excellent service and beautiful food. I have not visited for quite some time due to a house move but upon returning the same friendly, attentive levels of service and varied, delicious dishes were on display. Highly recommend.
Prima Donnas is a true local gem. We've never had a bad dish here, let alone a bad meal (and we've been here many times). The food is always of a high quality, perfectly cooked and will presented.
As important as the food is the service - and it is impeccable. You always get a warm welcome and are made to feel like a valued customer.
All of the members of the team are friendly, helpful and strike the right balance between being attentive but not hurrying.
Really family friendly and also good for people with nut allergies as hardly anything has nuts.
Incredible service, this place knows how good it is and is proud. The steak was heaven and we felt like kings. A gem. Top quality in everything. I wish I lived next door..
Incredible place, with a very attentive and personalized service, very tasty and quality food, and well presented dishes, a place to visit whenever you have in London
Great quality food and a good range of menus to suit all occasions. Fantastic service and very attentive, accommodating owners made this a place to want to return to.
Have been going to this restaurant for many years. Little disappointed that certain items were not available from menu but nevertheless enjoyed what I did have and also the relaxed laid back atmosphere.
Went for mothers day had a lovely meal but it was spoilt by unruly kids on the next table Parents didn't seem to mind they obviously didn't have any manners.
Normally have any steak there,.. top notch ..but had the lamb cutlets or chops whatever you call em ..and they're better than the steaks!! imho,! ..also have the recommended house Italian red full bodied 13.5% alc.vol. it's a Corker..but nor corked if you know what I mean ..great stuff x
First visit for a very long time. Not disappointed. Friendly welcome. Great service. Brilliant food and fantastic ambience. Won't be so long for our next visit.
Sunday lunch menu - Amazing every time, variety, quality and presentation. The staff are incredible from the chefs to the waiters, by far the best restaurant I ve been to home or abroad..
Ate there for the first time last evening. Warm welcome on arrival. Drinks in tired looking bar area while our table was readied - engaging barman made up for shabby seats and decor. Good sized table for two, with extension flap that gave more space for wine and bread. Moules were average but chateaubriand excellent, brought to table before being sliced. Service a just a little cloying; continuous topping up of wine and asking if we required anything else. Faint and annoying sounds of background music from speakers at the other end of the restaurant - wish they'd either turn it up or turn it off.
This has been a family destination for many years and we always go in big groups and sometimes weekends after weekends.
Since the restaurant manager left to live in the US the ship started to sink fast with him gone, poor organisation and poor customer service.
Its been a year since we last visited because we were so disappointed and tonight was a exception. After waiting 45 minutes for the table to be ready, despite booking well in advance, we were then told the table was ready and no one lead us to the table, we had to find that ourselves. It was a birthday meal and we paid for the table to be ballooned and sprinkles, despite waiting 45 minutes the birthday girl had to remind them that these key things were missing.
By this time everyone was pretty much upset and annoyed that they haven't even had the courtesy to apologise and when asked to see the manager he then quickly darted off. With that we decided to leave and go to the pub over the road for the meal instead.
Before the old manager went to the US the place was brilliant and they couldn't do anymore for you, now it feels like you should wait yourself when you go, it's really sad seeing it fail.
I think this will definitely be the last time at PDs
The food was delicious and the service excellent. The menu had so many interesting things, it was difficult to choose. I will definitely go again and tell all my friends to try it too.
I have driven pass this restaurant many times and have never tried it as I was told it was expensive. Only when a friend suggested that we should go their for lunch did I find out it had an excellent fixed price menu. The food was More
Very good meal and when there was a little confusion over the payment (a lost twenty note partly due to my haste) they rang back later and said the lost note had been found and returned it...very admirable
Haven't been to Prima Donna's in years, I went recently and it did not disappoint! The waiters are very polite, we were shown to our table straight away and drinks came very quickly. There was a Jazz singer and pianist playing, they do jazz nights every Tuesday apparently. Our food was amazing I would definitely return.
We have been going to Prima donnas since the restaurant opened,we have watched it grow ,thru hard work ,great food and special service. We are there today the first day its opened since lockdown ,we have had great meals delivered in lockdown .Great Restaurant
Sunday lunch was delicious and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended, great for families pricing was reasonable too.
The food here is consistently very very good, and the wines too. Love this place. And it might sound funny, but honestly the FRESH BAKED BREAD with butter or oil and balsamic is always AMAZING!!!! I could live off it alone very happily
Excellent food and good service. Set Sunday menu very good value. A bit cramped in the rear seating area but the mirrored walls make us feel more spacious.
My first time there and not my last . Absolutely delicious loads of choice , great service and very clean and classy. Lovely restaurant for the family or just great for date night. I look forward to returning.
Went here as pub across road was full up. Found menu very limited. food came quickly and considering how basic it was that was not surprising. Food was very average and although not comparatively expensive was still poor value for money. More
Busy, even on a Tuesday. A nice little huddle for the middle classes and always a treat. Good food and enough extra effort being made by front of house to elevate it above the average Italian. I'll be back again.
