Excellent management company to work for. I have been employed for almost 2 year. I was promoted within the first 6 months of employment. The company really cares about their employees and residents. I have worked for a couple other management companies, Lockwood is the best by far.

I was called in for an interview with this company (At the Parkwood Manor location), and I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional-ism from both the staff in the office of that location as well as the staff in the corporate office. My interview was scheduled for a Monday morning and upon my arrival (20 minutes early), I found the office doors locked. After trying to reach the office multiple times (because staff was there, but would not unlock the door), I called the district manager (Ebony Summers) with whom I was suppose to interview with (again, multiple times), and I am STILL waiting for a return phone call almost three days later. After leaving the waste of time interview, I came home and called corporate to voice my concerns over how unprofessional the staff at this location had been, and still have yet to hear back from them either. This company should be ASHAMED to have such people working for them when they claim in the "core values" of the company that they always put residents and guests first and do the right thing even when no one is looking. In my opinion, anyone who rents from (or works for) this company is just asking for trouble in trying to get problems solved

I only gave one star because I had too. I mailed and faxed a appeal to them regarding my application for a property I applied for that was denied in error to them. I attached all my proof and documentation. I called Kristen who did contact me back on 11/01/18 back I left a message and stated in the message that nobody has contacted me back. Per Kristen, she had not received any of my appeal information and someone else may have picked it up from the fax. After we gotten off the phone, I faxed the appeal again to her attn. I called today 11/05/18 to check the status of the appeal and to verify that the fax was received and I didn't get a call back. The apartment complex I applied with Oxford Square coop don't answer the phone or this management company. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I will complain on every review site I can find.

I have been with Lockwood for over 13 years now and it is an excellent company to work for. They are the type of company that believes in employee recognition, advancement, and promotion and are well-respected in the property management industry. They strive to provide high-quality housing and service to low income households, seniors, and conventional renters. As in all industries, you can't please everyone, but I have witnessed several employees going above and beyond for their residents, fellow employees, and the company itself. These types of actions personify and exemplify the beliefs and values of Lockwood as a company.

Very poor experience dealing with management. Calls always went right to voicemail. I was a tenant , told I was the problem and they do not have tenant complaints. I would never recommend to anyone to stay or rent from a Lockwood managed complex.

Excellent company to work for! They care about their employees and always look to promote from within. I have worked for a few corporations where you are a number and not a name. At Lockwood, they know who their employees are. You are never just another number. They make you feel valuable to the company.

I have been unsuccessful in trying to reach the corporate office because my on-site property manager is not full filling his commitment to me as a tenant. I've left several messages with Kristin Miller, the resident care specialist. Leaving this review was the last step I'm taking before sending a certified letter - I don't know what else to do.
