These folks are absolutely spectacular! I've been several times and the experience is always first rate. So much so that I'm signing up for the Monthly Butcher Box. My only criticism is that they need to open a Shop in Marin so I don't have to drive the hour round trip. Plan ahead if you are going and buy in bulk. It's worth the trip.
I ordered on line and when the delivery driver gets to the butchers shop, the line to get into this place was 20 plus people deep. The driver excused himself to say and ask what are the delivery drivers to do my driver was told to call the numbers in the app or outside on a hand written sign. So driver asks what if it's busy. The driver was told to wait in line then. WITH THIS COMPANY A LINE THAT IS 20 PEOPLE DEEP AND AN AVERAGE OF 10 MINUTES FOR EACH PERSON WHICH THIS INCLUDES EITHER ONE PERSON OR ONE GROUP INTO THE STORE AT A TIME THAT EQUALS TO 200 MINUTES MY DRIVER WOULD HAVE HAD TO WAIT THAT'S LONGER THAN 2 HOURS. So as a patron of this establishment what is the point of ordering on line to save time , definitely not money. If you have to wait in a 2-hour plus line just to receive your order when it's sitting in the store waiting to be picked up this makes no sense to me I don't understand what is so complicated about allowing delivery drivers to bypass a line to pick up deliveries that are ready to be picked up
Yeah I don't know what happened but I came in to get a leg of lamb. They had some cuts without the bone. I just wanted the whole leg bone in. The guy then gets out the lamb, cuts the leg off, cuts the ankle, de bones it just like I did not ask for, then realized he messed up and wraps the meat around the bone and ties it, hoping I wooudlnt notice. Also charged me by the pound for it like the bonless cut could be... These are your butchers. He had a cool mustache though
High quality meats and a variety of other products such as soups, seasonings, unique sandwiches, pie dough and cookies. Knowledgeable staff. Do not miss their barbecoa if they have it - fantastic flavor for a weeknight taco.

Prices moderate. Definitely worth checking out.

Good people and good meat. u can get ome veggies from them too. Postin pic's of their pandemic rules for u, was not crowded, on turkey day they had a band outside to keep all cutomers happy

This place is really special. Even in the midst of a pandemic and heightened restrictions, they were running efficiently, safely, and as friendly as ever. Both the process ordering last week and picking up this week were so smooth and orderly. Oh, and the roast looks amazing!
