One of the best dining experiences I have had in a while. The dish pairings were excellent and the food was flavorful. No need to pick up the salt shaker here!

Excellent experience! We ordered multiple dishes to share and our waiter made sure that the foods were served perfectly timed for us to enjoy. We didn t have reservations but arrived early enough to be seated (5:15); perfect timing as very soon the place was busy! Lovely evening.
Ten friends enjoyed dining al fresco on a perfect night, out the back of the restaurant. The crawfish and green tomato casserole was remarkable. I thought the dinner rolls were okay, but I would prefer a more artisan style bread for a restaurant of this caliber. Don't bother to show up without reservations.
A very pleasant lunch experience.
Their signature chili garlic oyster is truly good, the plate is really hot but oyster is soft and juicy, don t know how they did that.
We chose their pork of choice as entree to share. The pork chop was cooked to the perfect welldownness, crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. They seasoned it really well as well, flavorful but not too salty.
We went to next door butcher to grab a charcuterie board and a beer after lunch. Duck breast, love that smoke flavor, salami, the best I ve ever had, copper, not too into it.
Overall a great dining experience @cochon!
After multiple failed attempts, I was finally able to eat at Cochon this afternoon. The tables were all reserved, but the hostess was able to seat me at the bar. As expected, the restaurant is very clean and upscale, but not the type of place where you would wear a suit and a tie. As with most nicer places in New Orleans, the food is a little pricey, but there are smaller portion options available. It should definitely be said that the quality is really good. The bartender who took my order was very friendly and was able to make several excellent recommendations. I decided to order their elevated take on cracklins as well as rabbit and dumplings with greens for my entree and side. Everything was superb. I am not a whiskey drinker myself, but I did notice an extensive selection of whiskey and whisky variations. They also seem to have a very nice wine list as well. I don't see myself eating here casually all the time, but I think it would be great for the family or a date. Very cool restaurant in the French Quarter.
We enjoyed our favorite meal here during our recent visit to NOLA. Every component was perfect. The food is so delicious! The service was attentive. This is my top recommendation if you can only choose one spot to eat.
Absolutely fantastic food!! The drinks were strong and well crafted. Reservations are definitely recommended and I would bring a light sweater as it can get a bit chill in here. But don't worry! The gumbo is wonderful and warms you right up and you MUST get the rabbit and dumplings. By far an excellent choice for a nice meal out in New orleans.
We visited Cochon for Easter brunch and it didn't disappoint! We were able to reserve an outdoor table and there were plenty of umbrellas to keep us in the shade. The gumbo was the best I've ever had and we loved the grilled oysters! My fish was cooked perfectly and my wife loved the rabbit with dumplings.
We stopped in for a bite before going to the WWII Museum. The place was very clean, the service was good, and the food was great! A unique menu that wasn't overwhelming. Be prepared to spend a little more here than other places as I would consider Cochon to be upscale casual.
It was good, I remembered to take a pic mid meal . Didn't really get what I went for but nonetheless it was great. The hospitality was pretty good too. Pork with Brussel sprouts and gumbo.
