Terrible service on telephone banking from the halifax

im realy upset wiyh halifax that im closeing all my accounts they only got one star cos i could not give them none

I was with the Halifax for years and years and I have to admit, they are the worst and most unprofessional bank I have ever used. No structure at all. Conflicting issues, the problams go on and on. Even though I am no longer with them, I'm still getting issues with them! Not sure why when I no longer have an account with them. Seriously, anybody considering swapping to them or using them then don't. I promise you will regret it.

Building looks like an agency building. 5 stars from me.

Halifax is set in a picturesque location, the town has lots of yellowy stoned buildings. The Lloyds offices are architecturally interesting in an angular concrete way. They're only about 10 mins walk from the station.

A much maligned building but the Halifax head office building is a remarkable structure its striking design arises out of the particular innovations in its structure and planning.-its one of the most architecturally influential buildings of the 20th century -the jewel in the crown that is Halifax ........nearest Wetherspoons is not far away either-another fine building-- top of Fountain street -the Barum Top

Working. Kept waiting whilst little shi's in security uniform decide if you are worthy of wasting their time

It's an office, functional but not easy to navigate and a bit ugly

Relative to other offices in LBG, this is showing its age and could do with a refit to bring it into the 21st century.

The main building is quite interesting from architectural point of view. It's Grade II listed as of 2013 and won the RIBA award in 1975. Many fascinating features, most of which are inside beyond security though, so not visible to the public.

Disgusting company. Refunding customers who say they havn't received goods. How funny that the tracking number, customer signature and GPS co ordinates say otherwise. Great way to facilitate online shop lifting.
Update : I now have a county court judgment to collect this payment back from this awful bank

Absolutely horrendous! Do not trust this bank with your money! My daughter used her debit card with a company but never received her goods (box arrive empty, clearly tampered with)! After the company refusing to replace or refund she opened More

Absolutely discrace to the uk banking system basically they won't help you if your sitting abroad and have a 10/15 year account with them they only want to speak to you if your sitting in the uk they expect you to pay roaming charges and take the exact mobile number that's registered with them in uk and they want everyone who has a account with them to do online banking no matter what! What discrace cannot wait to get this krap bank changed as soon as I'm back.

I've been with Lloyds for decades, never once had a problem with them. I'd recommend this bank

LLOYDS Banking Group has been banned from forcing bounce back loan borrowers to sign up to its paid-for business account.

Around 30,000 small business customers were instructed by Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Bank, which are both part of the Group, to apply for a business current account in order to access the government-backed scheme.

The Halifax Bank is absolutely rubbish, I would give them ZERO if I could. Even though there are plenty of funds in my account they have mistakenly declined my debit card three timed. I had to then hold for over 60 minutes on the phone to speak to them and despite them providing me with a code to clear it, the same has happened 3 times and is still not resolved. I have wasted over 3 hours trying to resolve this problem and am still holding! Why are they spending millions on advertising telling us how good they are when they are a complete shambles.

Not really a lot to say - it's Lloyds... Head Office! BUT...

The HO is rather nice, modern architecture itself - but if you follow the perimeter of the building, there's a "covered walkway".
In there, behind a full size glass wall - is the original Masonic Lodge that the Lloyds building replaced - inside the building!

I dont know how much of the lodge is left inside, but the remaining facade is certainly impressive...

Worth a nosey next time you're in the area!
