Great service! We recently switched our strata over to using Fire-Pro and service has been amazing, especially compared to the old company we were using. Recently had a failure of our fire suppression system compressor and they had a great tech name Dean out to us within an hour. Dean explained clearly what had happen and solved the issue fast. Highly recommend this company!
Recently switched to Fire-Pro and realized a significant cost benefit on inspections. Attention to detail and solid expertise made the whole process easy, and their staff was very courteous and valued my time. I was very impressed with their compliance to COVID-19 public health ordinance and general professionalism. If you want a solution driven team while also saving money, these are the guys.

The employees driving the company vehicles seem to be very rude and disrespectful. Maybe not all of them are.. but twice now I have been tailgated, honked at, yelled at and sworn at for following the rules of the road. These employees need to learn to be more patient and respectful, especially when driving company vehicles.

This is the 3rd negative review for this company in regards to reckless driving. A company based in fire protection should have more interest in safety. If someone was wishing to protect lives, I would expect them to drive in a safer manner.
The driver had not shoulder checked, and was swerving into my car, nearly pushing me off of the highway. This is after we had both driven past a 5 car fatal pileup on the rainy dark bridge as well.
I called in and the receptionist was very kind and reported the incident on my behalf.

We had an absolutely horrible experience trying to communicate with this company. They came to do a fire inspection in our housing co-op and seemed to have done a pretty good job. They left us with an estimate of what needs to be fixed and we settled on the date. However, we ended up having some questions about the estimate and about different options for the smoke alarms (we wanted to go with the wireless secondary smoke detectors). And this is where everything started falling apart. Our repeated emails went unanswered. When we called we were told that the sales person who had our account just quit. The new person never returned our call. The engineer we managed to get briefly on the phone one day never responded to a follow-up email . He also never bothered to call us. The only person we could reach was the receptionist who would promise us that someone will call us or email us and that, of course, never happened. Horrible, horrible customer service. We are all volunteers at our co-op and hours of our time were recklessly wasted.
If there service is anything like there driving I'd advise against using them. Person driving vehicle LW 1431 pic plate nearly ran me and my 3 kids off the road.

Great service, knowledgeable and fairly priced (about a 10% cost savings in switching over our annual fire alarm inspection to Fire-Pro). The sales staff were prompt in response and communicative while the techs were great in clearly explaining what had happened along with providing a fast, efficient resolution to our scenario.

Didn't have Service but driver has reckless attitude on driving company vehicle. The van jumped out from alley without yielding on coming traffic. How good the service could provide??
Sometimes it is the little things that count. Over the last several years the staff and technicians at Fire-Pro have helped us complete the annual fire extinguisher inspection required for my wife s daycare. It is a small service in terms of cost but vital nonetheless. This year when I arrived at the door a posted sign suggested calling to receive service. I was about to dial when Shan came to the door and then outside to see what I needed He took in two older extinguishers for recycling and replacement and one for inspection. He would have everything ready 9:00 am next morning. Shan was gracious and friendly, exactly what I have come to expect from reception, technicians and managers. I can t think of a business where I have had more prompt or attentive care. Communication skills and prompt response are in the the company s DNA. Check them out; you won t be disappointed.

Fire Pro is an exceptional company where the quality of their inspections are some of the best in all of Canada. Having worked there, knowing the current employees, and having recently worked in buildings they currently maintain I can confidently comment on this company. The training at Fire Pro is well known across all companies in the lower mainland as one of the best and produces some of the most competent technicians in the fire protection industry. At the time of this review there are currently 928 registered technicians in ASTTBC and I can confidently say at least four of the top 10 technicians work and train there (DJ, Pat, Rob and Curtis) and I've personally benefited from their training. You'll be hard pressed to find a more competent company to do your fire inspections and if you're looking to improve as a technician and expand your knowledge this is the best company to work for in my opinion.
Fire-Pro is nearly complete on a tough job. On the job for one week were their Technicians Justin and later his Colleague (Lee?), who were able to navigate through many obstacles (including removing old pipe, removing old concrete, working around homeless people). They were able to persevere and get the job done. Thanks for your expertise! Mike
Technician knocked on my door with no scheduled arrival on a work day and proceeded to enter without explaining to me the scope of work. Was rude and said I wasn t up to code.
Unfortunately there is no 0 stars here so I got to give 1, which Fire-Pro DOES NOT DESERVE!
Their technician "checked" smoke detectors for 16 years and did not find any deficiency with them (we replaced them every 3-4 years).
On the last check he took our less than 5 months, newly purchased, smoke detectors (claiming that they are NOT compliant with BC Fire Code) and replaced them with their units. Now Fire-Pro is charging us for their unit, while they cannot return us our new units because they "destroyed them").
It is very convenient for them, makes EXCELLENT earnings for the company at the cost of their customers.
Now they are claiming that our units were not safe enough but DID NOT answered how they were safe previously, since they were left in our unit, as they are.
On top of that, they are calling us lairs, telling that we have not proof that we replaced them previously!
Fire-Pro is INCOMPETENT, UNRELIABLE and without ANY DECENCY, even for their PAYING customers!!!

Very rude staff, talked to one of them today (Curtis- if he gave his name right!) and they think they are in the middle of fire and super busy so even they can t talk properly - so rude...
If the company is like the staff, I wouldn t bother to use their services.
