Abusive staff, disgusting houses, lies and dodgy practices. We had the misfortune of renting with LJHooker Annerley for 2 years. Most staff were fine but our property manager - Vanessa was extremely rude and painful to deal with. She was bad enough to make the entire experience terrible.
When we went to sign the lease, we were waiting in the lobby when our property manager walked straight past us - out the door to get lunch. We had to wait for over half and hour for her to come back. All we needed was to sign the lease, could have been sorted in 1 min.
We had assumed our house would be bond cleaned before entry but the apartment was in a filthy state (see attached picture from the entry report).
When I left, I bond cleaned the apartment but refused to pay for a steam carpet clean as I was not required to by the RTA. Vanessa first tried to lie - saying that they had been cleaned before my entry. When I asked her to provide a receipt for the clean she sent me an abusive and highly unprofessional email insulting me.
I assume they are used to just swindling people that are unaware of their rights under RTA which is sad to see. The rental agency itself is probably fine - they just need to get rid of Vanessa.

I was supposed to have an online inspection today at 1030 but I was not contacted.I have received an email one day before confirming the date and time of inspection on FaceTime. I had not received a video call for the inspection on time and when I called your office to inquire why this didn't happen I came across a rude lady who said that the house was leased and didn't appear to understand that you have to respect your appointments and to apologize in advance if you were not able to do the inspection rather than keeping people waiting. So disappointed with the service you provide.
The welcome gift for new tenants was a very nice touch..
