I have been going to this studio for their military/first responder focused yoga classes. They're taught by the wonderful Charla Suggs, who is very knowledgeable and creative in the way she designs her classes. She definitely does something very unique for the military and fire/police/ems in the way of yoga that I haven't seen before and very much enjoy. The studio itself is quiet and beautiful. Love this location!
I absolutely love this place, and I hate to miss a single class! I have exercised most of my adult life, but have truly never found anything that I enjoy as much. Don't get me wrong--we work our bodies hard, but the workout is suited to everyone's individual needs and abilities. I always feel as though I'm getting a whole body workout, my core is stronger, my posture is better and I sit up straighter. Every part of my body has changed for the better--I'm stronger, leaner, and more flexible. I highly recommend this studio! Try it--you will be hooked!

I work one on one with Angie for personalized yoga classes that can be adjusted to the needs and limitations of my body that often vary from class to class. I highly recommend Angie and her team. She is very patient when working with me, and always helping me with ideas in how to take care of myself and in reaching my goals . I'm amazed! I had my first REAL yoga session with Charla and I walked away a different person. Both studios are clean, calm, inviting and full of accessories for a great therapeutic stretch. I was most impressed by the education component and connections between our mind, body, and how we process, hold on to and eliminate both positive and negative stressors. Charla was all ears to understand my goals and create a plan just for me. I slept like a log after our session. I will be back!
I've been taking online classes with Angie since the Quarantine began. It has been a lifesaver. Angie tailors the classes to my needs and meets me where I am physically. Her calm demeanor and encouragement have made all the difference during this difficult time.
I started taking classes with Angie in June of last year. I had some back issues plaguing me, and it was suggested that I pay her a visit instead of seeking more traditional forms of therapy. I've been taking classes for 9 months now and I have never felt better. My body as a whole has never felt more uniformly strong. Exercises are shuffled around so often from class to class I'm never bored, and I always leave feeling better than I did when I walked in.
I have been taking yoga from Angie Toman, the owner for over seven years. I have also taken lessons on meditation, piloxing, nutrition and other yoga practices with other instructors. This is a small, intimate studio with amazing, hands on instructors. You walk in full of tension but leave feeling renewed and ready for anything, not to mention feeling accomplished and fully stretched!! Angie and Melissa care very much about their clients and it shows in every class and workshop they teach. I highly recommend this studio for private, individual instruction as well as group instruction.
My husband and I have been going to Living Balance Studio for several years and we look forward to it very week. It takes something special to keep him coming back! Angie and her staff are amazing, and the studio is a warm and welcoming place! Vicky does a great job of meeting our individual needs and requests on any given day, especially as we are recovering from knee replacement and shoulder surgery, always encouraging us with appropriate props for our safety and comfort. Each session, gentle yoga or restorative, is a comforting experience and we always leave feeling refreshed and stronger in mind and body.

I began private lessons with Angie after back surgery. She did a remarkable job helping me to recover and improve every element of my life. This was 7 years ago and my husband and I still see her twice a week. Our quality of life has improved dramatically. I should mention that we are both in our 70's. The studio is beautiful and soothing. Our Angie is wonderful! We also like the other instructors at Living Balance. It is a pleasure be there.
I had limited experience with yoga before I started working with Deborah; I never felt that I was being pushed into something more than I can do, but was always encouraged to do what I can. Yoga has made such a difference in how I feel on a daily basis. It is a wonderful way to end the day, to feel better tomorrow.
For the last two months, I have been attending the Wednesday night yoga class, which is FREE for military and first responders. The teacher, Charla Suggs, does a fantastic job making yoga relevant for those of us who beat up our bodies for a living. She is a licensed therapist who specializes in 'trauma release' therapy and applies this to her philosophy of teaching yoga. Every week, her class focuses on something different. Often it focuses on back care and core work, and other weeks we focus on mobility and stretching. At least once a month we do 'trauma release,' which is a fascinating and intense experience- it involves holding a pose designed to induce a shaking sensation. Charla describes this as the body's releasing tension caused by past stress or trauma, but without the negative effects of having to talk about the experience or relive it. Both times I've been to a trauma release class have been amazing and I've gone home and slept like a baby!
I've recently began my yoga experience with Vicki as my instructor. She is positively wonderful. She is helping to strengthen my core as well as my confidence. I love the one-on-one instruction. After several weeks, I am really starting to notice a difference. Definitely one of the best investments.
I started yoga with Angie almost five years ago. At the time I had chronic neck and shoulder issues. I am so thankful to have her as an instructor .she knows my body so well. I am 72 and stronger, more flexible and most of the time pain free! I wish I could take lessons from her everyday. She is the calming factor in my life!!! BREATHE
I have taken virtual classes with Living Balance Studios and I have to say that the quality of the virtual experience is exceptional. Not only are the sessions amazing, I don't have to rush to a studio as I just take seconds to sign into zoom, and then after, I don't have to get in my car and battle traffic. Fantastic intimate studio offering private yoga lessons! Our instructor Jessica is phenomenal, she tailors the lessons based on our needs, we are already feeling healthier and stronger within the first few weeks. Joining this studio has been one of the best decisions of our life.
I really enjoy the one on one contact with Angie & Melissa. The class gets catered to who is there & their needs. Proper form is reinforced because of the one on one teaching style. The classes have been challenging & fun. I can really tell a difference in my core.

I have been taking Pilates classes off and on for approximately four years and Mimi is without a doubt one of the best instructors I have experienced. Her tempo and pace going from one exercise to the next are spot on and never to the point of failure. I always leave her classes feeling that I've had an excellent workout.
