Beautiful building and having the underground parking is brilliant. Attended an event in a rentable room, not a performance, but everyone was a pleasure to work with and the evening was a great success.

I'm only commenting on how amazing this place is for photographers. I love how is quot and spacious for beautiful photos. Parking is free after 6pm, staffs are nice and friendly. You might see kids practice dancing by the hallway sometimes. If you want some nice photoshoot, come here.

LAC is a great venue with great staff. Sound is high class. The venue is multi-functional and includes a restaurant for pre-theatre dinner and post-show dessert. They have many workshops including a glass making workshop. The venue will be soon outgrown at the pace Mississauga expands.

We are taking art classes in the facility. The instructors are top notch. So many interesting course offerings. There is a large Glass Hot Shop, Woodworking Workshop, Painting Studio and several other studios. Also larger performance space. Evenings parking below the centre is free.

The problem is: there is no Arts at all, to be alive or dead
I've visited a lot of art centers across the world and I saw a lot of amazing things ( paints, sculptures, ancient stuff,... etc) but at living art center you'll find very clean place to the level of clean from arts though !!!!

This is a great venue with an impressive lobby and a poorly advertised (but excellent!) restaurant that often hosts world class events. Tonight I was there to watch Shen Yun in Hammerson Hall but I have also enjoyed shows in the RBC Theatre.

Hammerson Hall is quite large with great acoustics and not a bad seat in the house. RBC Theatre is a more intimate experience with the capability of rearranging the space. It might be a traditional theatre experience for one type of show or it can be arranged in what they refer to as a cabaret where patrons are seated at small tables.

This venue is a beautiful space and a real point of pride for the city. With that in mind, the underground parking situation really ought to be improved. It's often stressful and time consuming to leave the parking lot because 2 levels filled with cars are trying to exit via 1 heartstoppingly steep ramp that deposits you directly into street traffic.

In addition, on this particular visit, one of the stalls in the women's washroom was missing a lock on the door. Very poor form.

I would recommend this venue but hope that the underground parking situation can be improved.

This is next to mississauga square one..very accessible by public tranportation. Good parking other wise, as well!
Most importantly, a well maintained center by city to promote art and culture. They conduct workshops, have exibitions displaying art work of both new and established artists, and have good fascilities to arrrange for meet up groups promoting collaboration for arts in our youth community.

Great facilities, great entertainment, great times! Just enjoyed the final performance of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra, with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, for 2018-19 season. Fantastic! Can't wait until next season. Thank you.

I was extremely impressed by my first visit to Living Arts Centre and will certainly recommend this venue to my friends and family. This is a beautiful facility that is both well-designed and functional.

Parking is very convenient and didn't cost me anything at all. Entering the building from the parking structure is very easy and the staff directing visitors are very friendly and polite.

The theatre itself is spacious and I don't believe there is a bad seat in the house. The sound quality and stage lighting were excellent when I saw Colin James Blues Trio perform, leaving me excited to see more acts play at this great venue.

Small place but always well maintained and clean. Information desk on ground is very helpful. They have a few rooms that can be booked for events or weddings. They do catering as well but I don't know how the food would be but looking at their setup I would be surprised if it wasn't good. On the 2nd and 3rd floors there r rooms like class rooms and mostly kids activities take place there. There is ample parking in the basement but it's paid. I go to living arts almost every other week and have never seen a negative thing.

About Living Arts Centre

The Living Arts Centre: Promoting Art and Culture for Over 20 Years

The Living Arts Centre (LAC) is a not-for-profit organization located in the heart of Mississauga's City Centre. For over 20 years, it has been promoting the arts, supporting local artists, and showcasing talent from around the world. The LAC is a hub for creativity and culture, offering art courses, camps for kids, and performing arts events that provide entertainment to the community.

The LAC was established in 1997 with a mission to enrich lives through arts education and cultural experiences. Since then, it has become one of Canada's largest multidisciplinary art centres with six performance venues including theatres, recital halls, an exhibition space as well as studios for visual arts classes.

One of the unique features of LAC is its commitment to supporting local artists by providing them with opportunities to showcase their work. The centre also hosts exhibitions featuring works by emerging artists from across Canada.

In addition to promoting local talent, LAC also brings in renowned performers from around the world. From classical music concerts to contemporary dance performances and theatre productions - there is always something happening at LAC that caters to all tastes.

Apart from hosting performances and exhibitions throughout the year; LAC offers various programs designed for people of all ages who are interested in learning about different forms of art or honing their skills. These programs include visual arts classes such as painting or drawing lessons; music lessons on instruments like piano or guitar; dance classes ranging from ballet to hip hop; theatre workshops where participants can learn acting techniques or stagecraft skills - just to name a few!

For children aged between 4-14 years old; there are summer camps available which offer an immersive experience into various forms of art such as painting & drawing camp where they can explore their creativity while having fun! There are also specialized camps like musical theatre camp where kids can learn singing & dancing while preparing for a final performance at end-of-camp showcase.

LAC's commitment towards making art accessible extends beyond its walls too! It partners with schools across Peel Region offering educational programming that integrates curriculum-based learning with artistic expression. This initiative helps students develop critical thinking skills while fostering creativity through hands-on activities related to different forms of art.

In conclusion; The Living Arts Centre has been an integral part of Mississauga's cultural landscape since its inception over two decades ago. Its dedication towards promoting local talent alongside bringing international performers makes it stand out among other Canadian multidisciplinary centres. With its diverse range of programs catering people belonging different age groups & interests - there truly is something here for everyone!
