Watched People, Places, Things. Fantastic. Loved it.

The Playhouse is a lovely theatre with excellent staff they are helpful and very pleasant

Reminds me of all them school theatre trips . Bar is very expensive which is to be expected at somewhere like a theatre. Toilets are crowded at interval so everyones a little rushed.

However, came to see Woman in Black... Creeped me out in places! Cast of 2 (3 including non speaking woman in black). Transition between it being a production and the actual events was a bit painfully slow. I understood the need but overall good play could of been a lot scarier!

The theatres feel is soo old school its Amazing. Me and my friend imagined ladies with overcoats trying to sit in the little seats the feeling in there is truely immersing.

Will come again.

It's a brilliant theatre. I visited recentkybecause they have teamed up with Life Rooms, a part of Merseycare NHS Mental Health Trust, giving amazing opportunities to people experiencing issues with their emotional wellbeing

First visit in many years watched abagails party play was OK

I visited it as one of the venues of the Liverpool Biennial. It is a building that is worth knowing, has a unique architecture.

Beautiful theatre. All the walls are decorated with green and white wood . Big white ball as lamps in the roof and all the seats and ground is covered with a old green carpet. Beautiful. Only bad comment regards the seats and corridors, they are too small.

Put on some excellent shows like going because you can watch the show and have have a meal

Ok but people turning up late and small children to young for the show spoilt it

watched the bodyguard here, great lil venue. as a 6ft 2 male the seats made me feel extremely cramped but... the show was fantastic

I visited twice, once to see Still Alice and once to see The Christmas Carol. Both were amazing!

Great performance offers, central located and easy to reach. The bar is not very well equipped and not designed to stay longer, but a quick drink before performance starts.

Beautifful,old theatre. Friendly, helpful staff. Careful when booking seats if you are tall. Very tight for legroom.

architecturaly a real joy to see, great little venue has a feeling of intimacy. I would recommend the playhouse to anyone.

Really enjoyed the show..never seen it before. Was a little worried when I found out there was no interval though

FABULOUS staff, lovely big clean rooms, nothing too much trouble, handy for all sorts of tourist attractions, huge car park with excellent security

Good programme, good people involved, but hampered by the constraints of the 1960s theatre setting

Went to see the Twits with the family, lovely afternoon. Easy to find, ticket collection was straight forward. Not much leg room in theatre but this was to be expected as the building get is quite old.

Chinese New Year, wonderful performance from different schools and cultural performances. A lovely warm welcoming place.

The Playhouse is a lovely old-fashioned theatre in the heart of Liverpool. The upstairs bar has a nice outlook over Williamson Square. If the show currently playing is to your taste, it is a comfortable and cosy venue in which to see it.

Seats at the back a little uncomfortable, andusic floated through from next door. Staff lovely though and the play was great!

Never been in there passed it while shopping in Liverpool, I don.t go to theatres so cannot comment ..

Love this place, you never know what the shows are going to bring up next.

Fantastic play, great cast performance of Girl on the Train

A party of five adults went to see The Hitchhikers Guide to Fazackerly on 18th December I have to say this show is the worst we have ever seen on the Playhouse. We have been going to every Christmas performance for the past five years and always looked forward to them . People sitting within our area all commented on the poor production Very Disappointing

Loved this theatre.. you think your going into a large theatre but it's small. it's got a lovely intimate feeling about it

Beautiful theatre with an amazing reading room containing every play ever performed there.

I go here often and it is always a great experience.

Good theatre but ran too late with the show and fast too fond of shining bright lights in the audience eyes

If you haven't seen this play go it's brilliant. The theatre itself is a lovely old repertory theatre.I believe it is one of liverpool gems.

Love this theatre was lovely to attend a Christmas show as a gift. They go the extra mile to make it a great experience friendly staff never imposed but politely told me where lifts were if I needed them. Lots of history special place in the city

A lovely small theatre. Built in the 1800's. Went to see Abigail's Party.

Friendly old school theatee and certainly from the stalls it is easy to hear and see all the action.

American idiot musical. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. I was politely told not to take any photos or videos without feeling intimidated or threatened. Absolutely amazing performance.

We went to see the Play August Bankholiday at the Liverpool Playhouse. The play was fantastic, and I cant recommend it enough, if you get chance PLEASE go and see it, the cast are amazing and the story very powerful.

The Theatre itself is a little shabby but the welcome you receive from the staff makes up for it. We had brilliant day.

Great little thearter nice beer good staff realy nice place worth a visit if you come to liverpool.

Nice theatre. Well located in city centre around plenty of places to eat and drink. Only negative would be queues for interval snacks etc could have been located and managed better.

Daytime visit to the tower and a quick look around the theatre.
Well worth the time and would visit again.

Miracle on 34th street was fabulous. Had seats with restricted leg room, this really does mean what it says! If your over 5ft 10 be aware.
