Really enjoyed the production. Good sight lines. Can be a little cramped but not overly so. Audiences are considerate in comparison to the Liverpool Empire (lost count of the number of times events at the Empire have been ruined because of halfwits yapping and staring into mobile phone screens).

We watched Abigail's Party on 30 March - the matinee performance and it was really great. Very funny and brilliantly acted. The audience were so enthusiastic and it was a very enjoyable afternoon. My only criticism would be that it was very warm in the theatre.

Lovely building and the plays that are on in there are usually great, but beware the seats. My butt is always sore from sitting even if i get up and stretch my legs during the intermission. Beware the chair!

Went to watch Christmas Carol , where there was a total cast of 4 people playing different charachters , was not worth the price and then you have to strain your neck due to stage being so high

Lovely old theatre but having been at the Everyman the month before, a very different experience. Seats are uncomfortable and allegedly there has been a refurb? Outside maybe but the bar area was poor.

The service was excellent. The play"girl on the train was brilliant well done to all the cast especially Samantha womack who shamed a couple on the front row for drinking and talking through the whole play !!!!!

A brilliant venue in the centre of Liverpool. They usually have a range of plays and shows each season, and is great value for the diverse performances it showcases. They also have a partnership with the Everyman Theatre.

The play Christmas Carol 5 star. Actors were all brilliant. Although, it was performed with social distencing it was amusing. How they thought up how to do it was amazing and funny. Tiny Tim, bless him was hilerious, but not sure he was meant to be. The theatre a little on the chilly side, hence the 4 star rating. The goodie bundles over priced not worth it. No bar open, understandable. No alcohol served unless in a bundle. Bit of a rip off I thought. But the main thing was the play and that was excellent well done.

Absolutely wonderful depiction of A Christmas Carol. Laughed from beginning to end, and did not want it to end. I would definitely advise others to see it, Spymonkey are a brilliant company of artistes, musicians and production people. I loved it.

Sitting in front row of gallery. We are quite small slim people but found it uncomfortable especially after the interval. Would not recommend for a long performance or if taller that 160cm.
A Christmas Carol was more like a farce, wrongly compared to 39 Steps which is funnier and much more slick. Not what we expected and rather tedious.

"Toast" First act was unexciting and at times sleep inducing but the second act had more tension and conflict, engendering more empathy with Nigel, his life circumstances and drive for cooking.

Basic but slickly used kitchen scenery.
