Food has gotten worse. Used to make really good hand breaded chicken tenders then they switched back to premade. The hill is also full of big ruts. I reported it to management and now 4 weeks later the hills are still bad. This hill needs to be groomed properly.

Im not sure how they can call this a family friendly place when everytime I go there are people smoking on the hill and the employees are swearing. Not a good place to bring your kids. I was also treated very disrespectfully by multiple employees.
I don t see why there is recent bad reviews on this place. I went in January and had a very pleasant experience with the staff! I also had well instruction with the lessons I received. I will be coming back this weekend!
Pretty typical little wisconsin ski hill. But the ski patrol are overly critical. My son came after a day of skiing he said he he rode the chairlift with a ski patroler and the patroler said is was a "safety concern" that he did not have baskets of his skin poles.my son had a helmet well fitted boot and the correct din.never bothered to explain why that was bad even after my son asked him.Cannot recommend this hill in the slighest.
Just finished MWAR ski race and my family was very impressed with the accommodations and staff at Little Switzerland. Can t wait for race day next year and I will definitely bring the family back for a day of fun in the snow!!
While it is probably the best bike park in the area, they are only open certain days, very inconsistent when trying to plan a trip. It would make sense if they were open every weekend and they have very limited quantity in rentals which may drive away new groms that want to try it out but not have a bike with suspension. It's no whistler but it's very fun when you're there but frustrating to plan a trip.
Food is overpriced and don t leave your drinks on the table because they will be thrown away. Overall mountain is pretty good but could have better service.
If you re learning to ski or snowboard switz is ok but if you re a more advanced rider, you may want to skip it way too small, not really worth the $ Save your money and go to granite.. Better yet get the hell outta Wisconsin and go hit a real resort out west.
A lot of really nice people working here make it a great place to ski. Just a small hill but great for beginners and a nice hill to practice on. It's the employees though that make the place. Thomas is my son's favorite. If it weren't for him, my son might not have left the bunny hill. A good day out.
I have been skiing here for 4 years and have been skiing 10 years of my life. I love the atmosphere of the ski hill and all the runs give you some different adventure every time you go down the hill. Terrain park and crew is awesome and gives everyone in the restaurant great entertainment. Highly Recommended.
first off little switz has tow rope lines the purpose of a tow rope is too keep lapping the hill not wait in a line like a chair lift an other problem have is they kick kids off the hill that pay money for a season pass just because they cut on the rope or write a bad review #letpeteride and one last problem I have with switz is they hire kids who have clearly never build a terrain park And have no clue how to properly Maintain Features. These are some of the big problems I have with switz but I have many more.
Still can t believe you guys kick people out for writing a bad review... sounds pretty petty but on another hand as Peter was saying I can t thank you you guys enough for showing us how a Corrupt ski hill runs! Alpine valley will be more than happy as their are real runs, chairlifts, and features. For you re time and money I very so believe it is worth the 30 extra minutes and 10 extra dollars as you can gain the real resort experience! Thank you and I hope you take this into consideration.
Awesome place to mash and perfect your skills. It's small but they do their best to make it all flow right (not you Black & Blue). It's a 2 hour drive for me, but good enough to always get me back and have a good time! Grazie
This is a great place for beginners and families that like to ski together. Great staff and you are barely waiting for lift service. They have over 100 ski instructors that offer both group and private lessons. Took my boys who are 7 and 9 and they improved greatly after just two lessons. Also a great place for those that like Terrain parks. My boys had a blast watching all the freestyle skiers. Bar and restaurant have good food and drink and the slopes are open late for those that want to get a late start. I also highly recommend the house that is for rent on the property. Again it is great for families and can turn a day trip into a nice little weekend. Will be back with kids in tow for sure!!
They have a very good variety of hills from easy to difficult. I just had a problem with one ski patrolling being an a $$ hole. Hey didn't want to let me go on the lift with out some one else a company me at the same time. Not my fault everyone has a partner and I came by myself. His name is Dave g. By the way. Old Caucasian chunky with glasses. Just a heads up if you bump into him
review update: Today marks one year since I was banned here for a bad review. I drive an hour almost everyday to Alpine Valley but it was all 100% worth it. I met some of the best people i ve ever met there and the employees I consider my second family. If you want an actual ski/snowboard experience I do not recommend little switz. This place is filled with rude employees and negativity. #ditchswitz
Christian one of the workers took my season pass because I cut through one of the runs. I told him I didn t know that was a rule and you couldn t do that and in return he said I was talking back and took my pass. Very dissapointed to see a loyal customer like myself get my pass taken for a honest mistake. Very dissapointed in this staff. #I llmissmikeshea
Christian is by far the worst switz employee I ve ever seen, he has threatened to pull my pass numerous times for the dumbest things ever. The park stays almost the same all season bc he s to lazy to do anything, if Noah was working the cat the park would be amazing. Not getting a season pass next year
Used to go here as a kid and I'll be honest it seemed outdated and was not my favorite in the area. Recently they have completely remodeled the inside bar/dining area. Food was also good I tried the bacon blue burger. The snowmaking equipment has been updated as well which helps for early season riding. I appreciate they have different level parks for skiers and boarders that are at different levels of ability. Would definitely come back here! Mondays are buy one lift ticket get one free!!
What a wonderful experience we had this week at Little Switzerland. From the moment we arrived the staff was welcoming and helpful. As frequent visitors of this resort, we are always impressed with the familiar faces that remember our family from week to week. Rental service is always quick, the lift operators are always smiling, but most of all I'm impressed with how family friendly this ski hill is. To anyone interested in learning a life long sport, their staff of instructors are some of the best we've ever encountered. For a great clean place close to home, Little Switzerland is defiantly our family's top pick for winter activities!
I was told flatly that I couldn't have my dogs on patio and less 10 min later the same person let dogs (same size) on patio. I think dogs should be allowed more places, but if you don't allow dogs, at least be consistent.
