Lipari foods Review

Quick to unload, street parking available, park on the street & then go check in.

So this company bought Jim s Cheese out of Waterloo Wisconsin in 2018. They still must use his packaging or the cheese curds I bought at Sunny Acres farm in west Chicago Illinois was produced in 2018? They were awful. A galutinous glob of cheese made me gag. 12 oz for $9.97. I thought it said $3.97. When I tasted this disgusting glob of chewy goo I began to examine package. Expired on 9/21. Likely produced by previous owner in 2018. You should be embarrassed Lipari Foods or Jim s Cheese or whatever you call yourself.

I got to the receiving office at 0120 for an appointment at 2. Didn't receive a dock door until 0350. The unload was decent. The parking on the street seems unnecessary. If your appointment is early in the morning I wouldn't show up a second early.

Don t try them! They will tell you go park on the street and wait for call! There is No parking on the street because there is over 50 semi truck parking in street next to NO PARKING SIGN ( all this Trucks s waiting for a call! ) also the have very bad workers in receiving office

Nice people in receiving, clean facilities and reasonable unloading fees

Got here at 23:35, checked in at 01:15. Got a door at 03:15. Back into the door with doors open. Go back and check in, in the office once you are parked. Wait for green light, then go check in again for paperwork and lumper. Not bad but the parking on the street is dumb when they have so many spots. Also the guy in the office is not very friendly. Quick work, 18 pallets was gone by 04:40. Truck was empty by 04:15

9 hours and $248.00 later for 5400 lbs of dry goods is absolutely uncalled for and ridiculous. I burned through almost my entire clock and there's no where to park and sleep. They only unload from 03:30- 12:30 so I wouldn't try to get there early as it will not do you any good. Not that it matters to these clowns, but I will never deliver here again!

Not a bad place to deliver just some quirky policies that take some getting used too. After checking in you are required to park on the street even though they have hundreds of available spaces we could park legally. Appointment was set for 2:30 AM arrived an hour early only to find that they don't start receiving until 3:30. (2:30 apt just makes you one of the first trucks unloaded at 3:30) Now that I know that I won't arrive so early. Lumpers were quick; unloaded a full trailer in an hour and a half. That being said it is a good place to deliver too. Lost a star due to parking. I will gladly deliver here again.

I worked at Lipari for 5 weeks and what a great job and experience. Unfortunately my 48 year old body could not handle the workload. The management, trainers, and pay were exceptional. If I got that job 20 years ago I'd be living in a house 3x the size and driving a $70k car like the rockstar order selectors that make insane money. Thank you for the experience Lipari
