Love this place especially when fall season and the crowds except for traffic.
Love this place especially when fall season and the crowds except for traffic.
Great place to bring the family for seasonal fun and shopping specialties.
Please do not mark down expired items.Six month expired need to be in trash NOT on shelf for any reason
This time we got cheesecake and jellies and homemade bread it's a wonderful place to go
Great spot for the family. Wide selection of local produce.
Such a great time. Only 30 minutes from the city, tons to eat, see, do. Went apple picking, checked out the farmer's market, plant house and they have an amazing selection of plants for sale. Also have tons of decor, a bakery, hayrides, pumpkins, a birthday party area. Great way to get some fresh air and locally made products. Definitely recommend!
Their bakery is outstanding great place for kids to see farm animals very friendly and helpful staff
Could have been a little cleaner...Trash was a little out of hand! It was a little chilly but my children had a ball!
I have been going to LinVilla since I was a kid and the old barn was awesome, the Christmas Shoppe was great love it great memories
The fresh pies are second to none. Year round attractions from fresh fruit picking, pumpkin land, cut your own Christmas tree, a well stocked garden center, and hay rides make it a destination for every season. Plus barnyard animals, a kids playland, and so much more! Visit their website for full details because I know I am forgetting something!
Always enjoy getting corn on the cob and other fruits and veggies plus if you have kids they also have a zoo that you can see and feed the animals.
Favorite place to visit in the beginning of fall! I just love picking pumpkins and their apple cider donuts are delicious!
Loved petting and feeding the animals before stopping in the market for some goods and ending the adventure w choosing a pumpkin. THERE IS NOT Pumpkin PATCH it's a bunch of wooden crates w alllllllllll the pumpkins sorted by size but still fun and cute
You can go out and pick your own fruits. Or you can go in to the farm store and buy fruit, sweets, bakery items, ice cream, honey, syrup, soda- that I believe they make (at least their brand) and pasta and many other foods! There is also a garden store for all your gardening needs!
The legacy oak tree was dedicated today. Flowers and plants were available for sale in abundance. Baby goats were resting in this cute little shed. The place was beautiful as always.
A good place to spend time with the family away from home.
Linvilla was The Place to BE today! Me and the family ate, drank, enjoyed a hayride, grabbed some pumpkins, and visited the market for cider donuts and apple pie! Go! NOW! Happy autumn!
Very nice family place with good food and activities
If you want to have a Great time with your family and friends. This is a nice place, plenty of things to do with the kids and a great beer garden for the adults.
Very crowded but lots of space as well, and lots to do. The carnival-type food is slightly overpriced, but decent. The farmers market food is a better bet. The activities all cost money but it isn't outrageous, and they're all fun and well-done.
Fun for little ones. Probably 8 and under? Food is generally really good, though the pie I just bought was underbaked - crust was a bit "raw". They have pick-your-own, hayrides, and other activities depending on the time of year. Best to check their website before you go.
Simply the most amazing farm Ive ever been privlidged to be on. The Linvil family are truly gracious. You gotta come see this place. Bring the young'uns!
Cool place to visit but pies and cakes a bit pricey. Halloween season is the best time to visit.
Awesome place to visit, it has everything u need for an array of recipes. Atmosphere is breathtaking n family friendly
No proper directions to the activities inside. It is a huge place we found it difficult to find the fishing place. Would have been better if there was a map.
Many things to do at different seasons of the year. Our family cuts down our own Christmas tree each year. A fun family event that creates memories for a lifetime.
Love Linville they ve been around forever. Nothing like fresh fruit & veges
a wonderful place to visit I love the many varieties of things to purchase and the food is good
Beautiful, perfect to go with your children in the Summer and in the Halloween season. I love this place.
Great place to go to with the family on the weekends.
A little crowded but to be expected considering the time if the year. Good ambience and very family friendly.
Fun & food for the whole family. Hay rides, face painting, clumbing/play gym equipment, apple picking, funnel cakes, pierogis, apple cider donutes, fried pickles, etc. And Pies! Did I say pies? 40+ varieties of fresh baked delicious pies and cookies.!
Even a beer garden for the adults. Plenty of parking.
Nice place to take the family to see the animals and get some good food. Gets overcrowded really fast during holidays or events
So, hayride does not take you to the pumpkin patch. They ride you around and come back to the firepits which really was a disappointment.
This is a great place for the whole family. There is something for everyone there. Also, the food is great.
I go every year with my wife for our carving pumpkins!
It's really nice to spend a few hours at, really relaxing and positive. I really do recommend visiting here! It's great to just visit by yourself, with a loved one, or even with the family!
So many options to choose from,, face painting, feed pony and llamas, train ride, playground, birthday party area, which and regular hayrides, food and music....
Good apples, fun activities, but insanely crowded. Bathrooms, parking, and other facilities not up to the challenge.
Year-round staple for our family to go and have a wonderful day together and relax!
I love this place we went apple picking n bought some pumpkins and they have delicious homemade doughnut their coffee n cappuccino is so good .
This is my first year ordering from Linvilla Orchards. I chose this place on past experience of others and the fact that it is locally owned. I pre-order for baked good and two Turkeys. I later added a fruit and veggie tray. 290.00 dollars later (which I what I expected), I received a call on Monday, November 23, 2020 stating that someone had given me the wrong information about pick-up times. Because I added baked goods and veggie trays, I couldn't pick up the order at 8am but 10am. That's fine. On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 I made it to Linvilla Orchards to pick up my order. I arrived at 10:15 AM. Since I was new to purchasing from Linvilla Orchards I asked for guidance. Everything went well. I received my baked goods, veggie tray, and fruit tray slip and went on my way to collect the order. I went to the pre-order turkey window. I was sent to cashier 7 (which was closed) because a staff person kindly carried it up to a cashier. I told the cashier that I had pre-ordered two turkeys, she asked me my name. I gave it to them. I took 3 trips to my car by myself to load the order. Finally, the cashier gives me two individual bags with turkey's in it. I take them. Everything is paid. 25 minutes later, Linvilla calls me and tells me "I TOOK THE WRONG TURKEY and the woman who called was rude and asked if I could return the Turkey. Mind you the Turkey has been in my car for at least 25-30 minutes. I was told "I TOOK THE WRONG TURKEY." Which is impossible because the customer is handed the turkey(s) they order. I returned the Turkey to Linvilla Orchard (mind you its COVID-19) and paid 3 dollars more and got "my" turkey. With a follow up call from me to apologize for being gruff because no one should be gruff with minimum wage worker s-I apologized for not being kind. With an additional follow-up call, because no one apologized to me for having to return the Turkey, they said I called and apologized for yelling. I don't yell-ever. And the worker continued to tell me I took the wrong Turkey. How can this be done? The customer never touches the Turkey until it is paid for and handed over by a cashier. In addition, no one was in line behind me and it took them 20 minutes to call and realize I had some man s Turkey. I am sad by this experience because I try to be a conscientious consumer and buy locally and I have heard wonderful reviews about Linvilla Orchard. But, no one can explain to me how I took the wrong Turkey when it was physically given to me by a staffer. After the 4th call I received from Linvilla Orchard about this "golden" turkey, I got a call asking me how long I would be in returning the turkey. Linvilla Orchard-you fibbed-I didn't take the wrong turkey-it was a mistake by staff and poor management decisions that created a situation that could have been managed completely different if management had critical thinking skills. Finally, what bums me out is I wanted to visit your Christmas shop and buy a Christmas tree from the farm. I thought this would be a start to a new family tradition. Anyone who knows me I believe in putting workers first and that's why I called back to apologize for being gruff and I wasn't yelling. In fact, Chris the woman I spoke to said, not many customers would call and apologize.
Great place to bring the kids for a day of outdoor fun.
This is a fun place any time of the year. There are events going on. Great for children of all ages.
You can go on a wagon to pick your own fruit, young ones can go fishing,. They loan a rod and you can buy your bait. They have live animals in pens, where you can feed them with dispensars nearby. Also, plenty of hand wash everywhere.
Linvilla Orchards has fresh produce for sale plants, flowers and shrubs for sale. They have very good sales. There's a huge gift shop and a store for food, with their own bakery. Try the apple cider donuts! Also, Basset's ice cream. Yum.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
There is a lot to see and do, especially if you have kids with you. There are animals, an outdoor play yard, farmers market, hay rides and seasonal shopping.
Loads of fun with the whole family! Great activities for little ones.
Kids friendly
Better then most of the other farms
Always a great go-to as a nanny to 3 year old twins! Playground, animals, shops, snacks! The picnic area could use some love.
There's plenty to do here in the fall. Hayrides, pumpkin picking, apple slinging and more. The markets are well stocked and clean. The animals and playground are great for kids.
Plenty of things to do with the kids. Farm animals, a maze, and for the adults, great food
It's a beautiful place a wonderful experience for family it's like a day out they have animals beautiful plants the store is wonderful they have pies and baked goods the only issue I have is the handicap parking is far from the front door of the general store so if you are handicapped just know that you're going to have to walk a bit to the door it's not parking right out front.
It is bad, it is an open-air place, and there are too many restrictions, there is no zoo, there are no toilets and some areas should be gradually opening.
Pretty much fun here besides pickup the strawberry. Fresh strawberries and blueberries on sale, you can even feeling the taste of sand. Garden/plant on sale as well, children playground with train, birthday party court. It s a fun place to hang out with friends and families.
Great place for a family day trip! The pies and apple cider donuts are worth the trip alone. Word to the wise, bring your epi-pen if you have a bee allergy, as they are numerous in peak season.
I came with friends and we were taking photos of ourselves with apples. At one point we gathered up some apples off the ground and took a video of us running with them, though we dropped some as we ran. We suddenly heard someone yelling and cursing at us, asking what we were doing. It was a man in a golf cart, who later explained that he was the farmer. We explained that we had gathered the apples from the ground and we were just having fun. He was upset that we were being disrespectful to the apples. We continue picking and he follows us, standing beside the row of apples we were in. He did apologize as we left, admitting that his behavior was inappropriate, and explained that he didn t like people being disrespectful to the food. While I appreciated the apology, it doesn t change that he was yelling and cursing at us. It was rude and unnecessary, especially with children around.
Attended the Apple Festival in September 2019. My family enjoyed the hay ride. We brought apples, pumpkins, and grocery items. It was very crowded so next time we'll get there earlier.
Nice atmosphere and caters to families. Only downside is you'll probably notice the mark-up
Apple slinging is the best thing at this place. The huge selection of pumpkins is another great positive. The baked goods are the best. the two ONLY downfalls of this place are; prices can be a bit steep on some nic nacs, and it was overly crowded. DO NOT go during the day. Go in the evening. It got to a point where I just wanted to leave and did not buy anything because you could not move anywhere in the place. Other than that, I love this place and will keep coming back, in the evening that is.
Overall good park, a little of everything for ages 1-8
Lovely place with flowers, herbs, fruit trees and berry bushes for sale as well as pick your own fruits in the orchard. They also have a lot of hot sauces and interesting finds in the candy sections, not to mention some quality local honey. One of my favorite places
Great weather today. There was a crowd but not too bad
It is nice for the little ones but I wish it could go back to how it was in 1980s I had the gedt childhood memories here.
Been going since I was a child....much has changed!
