Where do I start? Waited over an hour for delivery after being told that it was going to be 30. Then we were told that we would still have to pay for possibly cold food or wait another hour for order to be remade. Then the delivery driver said he came by here when they called looking for him, which was an out right lie. Then when he finally got here an hour and a half later we were like just keep it. We also called him out for lying and he was like yay free lunch for me. No customer service what so ever! I would give them no stars if I could.

Quick and easy local restaurant. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of their customers during this time. Food is always good and fast. Easy to order online and pick up, You get a lot for the money. Great choice if you want good good but need to keep a budget in mind. A small portion easily serves two people. I always have leftovers. I'm happy to support local business owners.
I have been to Lin House quite a few times. I come here when I go to Radford for some business I do. Usually go to Radford 2 times a week and I will say once every other week I come here. The food is really not that special but its good and its flavourful. Their lo mien noodles are the best I've had. You can just expect a basic, tasty americanised chinese meal. Sometimes my son comes along with me on my trips and he looks forward to coming here. I don't believe the other review that said someone got food poisoning. The owner here is an interesting guy he sits on a computer he has set up beside the counter, he also sometimes sits outside and smokes. He's friendly and very awkward. I remember my last visit I have to admit I was quite uncomfortable. I was wearing my tie and when I walked out, he was sitting there smoking. He said excuse me and reached out to shake my hand. I shook his hand and he just grabbed my tie without even asking and said it was nice. Then he proceeded to ask me several times where he could buy good fruit. He also mentioned some things I won't write here. Awkward guy. He might try to talk to you a lot, if he does just politely walk away and say your busy or something. Otherwise he gives good service and the restaurant is basic and serves basic, tasty dishes. Worth a shot and cheap as dirt! Seriously, they're very cheap.
For what you pay this place is excellent. Solid tasting Chinese food. However I have watched them take rice out of the microwave to put in a to go container so I know not everything is fresh. Also kitchen isn't particularly clean. But heck I'll keep coming and I've never gotten ill from their food.
I love the food here and the staff is very friendly. #1 favorite food item: Kung Po Chicken! We eat here 4-5 times a month as it is the best Chinese Food in the NRV.
Ordered wontons, tasted like the oil has never been changed in the fryer, chewy, not good. The fried rice is just yellow rice, never had fried rice like that, also not good. Don't recommend this place at all. I don't understand the 5 star reviews.
Worst place I've ever eat in my life got general souls chicken rice tasted like dish water and what was suppose to be chicken did not taste like chicken and had bones in it
I tried lins house while in Radford 2 weeks ago. I was quite shocked how good and fresh it was! The service was quick, they are really nice and i even decided to stop again this evening. The food seems to be reasonably priced as well. Every 2 weeks while in town, i may try to stop by there!
Their food has oddly lost its taste the past few months.Not sure what it up with that. Though delivery takes awhile due to the drivers getting lost because most are students and rely on gps,which we all know how those are. I have as well as friends ordered from them and have received messed up orders with delivery,and when you call to confront them,they will not fix the issue nor bring the correct food to you and expect you to bring it and pick up the food and can be very rude.There are several Chinese Rest's in and around Radford that are far better. Don't waste your time and money at Lin's House.
