Omg!! Best Chinese food I ve ever had you get a lot of it too

Lots of food BUT not good quality. My family has had LOTS of meals from Linn Chau and it seems as though the quality keeps going downhill. No bean sprouts in the chow mein?! Too much Chinese cabbage or Bok Choy in the vegetable dishes. Only a couple cashews in the cashew guy ding!! The rice is often dry and not very flavorful. Recently I bought their special fried rice and it was MOST disappointing. Overcooked tiny shrimp, no green onions, dry tasteless rice. Very sad.
I love to support small local businesses but can't support this one anymore.
I only gave it a 2 star rating instead of 1 star because of the huge amount of food they give.

The food is great but the service is terrible. Every time I call for delivery they tell me it will be about an hour and a half and it always takes at least two hours to actually get here. And it isn't even hot by then. If you order a pick up then they are great

I try to be as fair as possible in reviews so I am going to give you the good, the bad and the ugly. The good: My partner enjoyed his meal and had no complaints. The bad: The food I ate did not taste very good and wasn't well prepared. The ugly: I have a terrible case of food poisoning from my meal. I would give this place a miss or stick with the old standbys if you take the chance.

I used to regularly get their beef noodles with no vegetables but hadnt in a while and ordered this week and was sorely disappointed the package size was smaller and the food had almost no flavor. I ordered them for someone else the next day thinking maybe it was a one off but it was the same smaller size and apparently just as flavorless. Only two stars as used to be awesome

The food is a bit sweet and not the place to sit and eat; but excellent take out place.

Substitutions are allowed! Good portions, food is always hot and tasty. Canadain Chinese with other options. Pick up and delivery. I would recommend taking it to go. Sit down area is limited, building is clean but cluttered and outdated. Probably helps to keep cost down.

The food is delicious, the staff know what they are doing. It takes a bit of time to make it as they make it fresh when you order. But we'll worth it.

Its a hit or miss. Lately we ordered by text which they advertise on several places and never got a confirmation so ordered pizza instead. One time they advertised a special on their facebook but staff was unaware of the deal when I called it in. The food though is generally pretty good and they have a wide variety to choose from. Best part is how late they are open, so if your hungry for mozza sticks at 1 am, they are fantastic!

Worst Chinese Food ever.........Egg Rolls were the worst I ever had.

They are open so late. This is awesome. The food is really for people who missed grocery shopping durring that day or if your just feeling lazy. The food is okay and the convenience is reflected in the price. Can you eat this food expect heartburn headaches in the morning and stomach pains at night.

Recognized a good portion of the 'dishes' I ordered from the frozen aisles of Costco. I wouldnt expect all the food from an American-Chinese restaurant to be fresh, but when I could stock exactly what they serve in my freezer it really makes me wonder why anyone would order from here.

Was charged 25.88$ for a 13.99 item delivered at a 10min drive. I guess the limited distance for delivery at 4$ is *very* limited. Appart from that the food was good, volume ok and delivery rather fast.

OMG!!!! This is by far THE BEST chinese food that I've ever had. I have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. The staff is great. Phan the owner is an awesome person. His restaurant may not look like much from the outside but I would say it is by far the best chinese restaurant in Saint John and surrounding areas.

Decent food but if you go to the their store to order (to save on the delivery charge)
they make you wait a LONG time (ive waited 45mins a couple times)..customers in store should get priority imo. poor customer service (usually a bunch of kids running the place)... so if you want their food , pay for delivery youll get your food much faster than going to the store....this is NOT a restaurant far from it

The special fried rice is very good and the serving amount is huge

Good greasy chinese food for when you're looking for it. Service is friendly and cook time usually isn't long if you're picking it up. Good option on menu is their gluten free meal, even if you're not gluten sensitive, it tastes fantastic. All meals here give very generous portion sizes.

The food here wasn't the best and the restaurant isn't very nice inside. We waited for out food despite ordering it ahead of time.

Ordered good here twice. Both times they screwed up my order up and ruined my dinner.

My husband and I thought we d try this place after people telling us it was good. We ordered the #1. When we received our food I had to ask if it was supposed to come with chow mein? The girl said yes that is chow mein. It was more like moo goo guy pan. Now me I love bean sprouts so I love chow mein. This was not chow mein. The rice was hard and tasteless. Now I give them credit for their chicken balls and the egg rolls. They were great. Will I go back? Probably not! I ll stick to my Kwan s where I know I m getting chow mein.

Worst restaurant in the city. Terrible service from Manager very unprofessional. Food was disgusting and it was burnt also found a hair in my low mein. Won't be back. Disgusting

Quantities are large but food tastes very old... odd times it is good is when it s eaten on the same day. Although my last order tasted like cardboard so I m Not ordering from them again

The food is delicious but the customer care is Horrible!! I ordered food on a day they had 1/2 price items on their app. I ordered a couple hours early knowing there'd be a wait. I don't care how long the food took. That's perfectly acceptable! However I received 2 separate confirmations of my order saying it was approved 4 minutes apart. I decided to call and make sure my credit card wasn't charged twice as I paid online. I was speaking to one person and then they abruptly passed the phone off after I had explained what had happened. The person that took the phone said "what's the problem?" in a rude way. I politely explained it again as I know they're under stress. She replied with "It's in, we got it but printed 2 copies since we didn't know if we had printed it off, ok bye" and hung up before I could ask if they had my delivery address. I called back and asked if they had it. The same person told me they already had It, and I told to her that I had to enter it on a different drop down menu, and it wasn't entered before I paid, so I didn't think it went through. So she Said she'd write it down, but didn't listen or write down my name or order to connect them together. Fast forward 15 minutes and she calls angry that I never gave my delivery address online, and that I need to pay $9 delivery. I asked her if I could check my receipt to see if I had already paid, but then she yelled at me that she was cancelling my order if I didn't pay it. I let her know I have no problem paying delivery, but would just like the opportunity to check my own receipt to see if it was paid or not. When she came back to the phone I let her know that it was my mistake, and I hadn't paid for delivery yet. She said "Well I don't know what your problem is, if you're trying to save $2 or if you think we're paying your delivery". I spoke calm, I tried to be understanding. The Manager is exceptionally rude when she doesn't need to be. I know they were under stress but there was no reason to talk to me like that, and that is a sure way to turn away new customers.

My work place orders here for us regularly, fish and chips is good and Chinese food is very good. Love it.

I got my 5b with no sauce and 2 free egg rolls.
Just waiting for a fresh batch of Chicken Broccoli which is worth the wait while my grandson is enjoying his combo.
In the meantime I ate the 2 free egg rolls and 2 chicken balls my grandson gave while I wait for my meal.

Chicken balls were a little salty for some reason. Not much taste to the dry garlic sauce today. Asked for extra sauce on the rice and it didn't happen

I ordered the curry with noodles and tofu on the weekend. Hands down one of the best curry dishes I have had. Lots of leftovers.Thanks!

Drove from Fredericton on a Monday night because everything here closes by 9 other than the diplomat (which is horrible.) the food was super good and the lady that served me was polite and cheerful. My friend got a combo 4 and I got a pad Thai. Took about 25 minutes. My pad Thai was super juicy and it was covered in juice when I took it out of the bag but it was delicious would rate 5 stars if their chopsticks weren't splintery and if they drained my pad Thai a bit lol
