Lincoln Memorial Garden and Nature Center Review

I'm sure it's beautiful in full bloom (early spring). The lake shore is certainly beautiful.

We have attended the annual sausage & pancake breakfast for years. Food is always delicious, sausage is cooked outdoors over an open fire. Pancakes made fresh on site by volunteers. Maple syrup is pure fresh maple. They actually tap trees on site which is visible as walk I g to the main building. Additionally they offer a silent auction which is always different since items are often donated for this fundraiser. It's a great time to enjoy breakfast and the take a relaxing walk around the various trail systems.

Had a great time! There are so many beautiful trails. Some of the trails I saw are also getting new mulch.

I enjoyed walking around the trails of this park. Leaves are everywhere and easy to kick around. I liked to read the benches and take pictures to remember for later. The lake is nice to sit by and relax. Parking can be tricky, very few pull in spots off the main road or there is a lot across the street.

Great spot for children to get to do a little hiking amongst nature. Very easy walking for all. Paths are well mulched.

Lots of trails. Could have uses more nature stuff to purchase in nature center and maybe some pics of some of the trails.

Beautiful woods and prairie area with walkways, bridges over creeks and Lake Springfield bordering one side. Great place for walking, running, hiking or enjoying nature. Native plants a highlight in spring, summer, and fall.

I always love visiting and had the pleasure of introducting my 3 year old son. I d highly recommend for a quick hike with great lake views. We even saw Santa!

It's a quite and peaceful park by a very large lake. A great place to walk and see and hear all kinds of birds. Woodpecker, Bluejays, Cardinals are just a few of the birds we always see on our walk. The path are decorated with wood benches that have famous quotes. We have walked through this park throughout the four seasons and it never gets old.
