We are starting to make it a habit to stop there when we pass that way.

Beside the fact that this place is too Fun to look at, the food is great. Yummy turkey and bacon sandwich!

Delicious food, great customer service, vintage style decor

Great place to get breakfast all day, food was good, as an added bonus the gas station has the best craft beer selection for at least 50 miles in any direction.

I go to Diane's frequently. Great hamburgers and club sandwiches. The employees are very friendly and service is quick. You'll find the welcoming atmosphere that you would expect to find in a beautiful country town like Hallettsville.

A great place to stop and relax. The food is great with good prices.

I want too impressed with this place. It had a cute feel, and the French fries were great. Unfortunately the staff didn't seek very intelligent. The lady taking our order re-asked several question and still managed to mess up our order. No cups were given for drinks. Our salads were mixed. And our kids entrees were completely overlooked. The hamburger was nothing amazing and tasted like a plain frozen patty. Once my daughter "chicken fingers" made it to the table it was a hunker of chicken that was burnt on one side. Just not a great experience.

Worst hamburgers we have ever eaten. Clean but extremely loud. Won't go back.

We always stop at Diane's Diner when we go through Halletsville. The food is always delicious and staff is very kind. Highly recommend!

Standard frozen burger patty. Omlette was great and daughter chicken strips and mac n cheese. Friendly atmosphere

Fried Catfish, Broccoli cheese soup and salad were delicious! Place very clean and staff very friendly.

Excellent stop in our RV. Clean, spacious diesel plaza in back. Good diesel price. Large clean dog walk with fresh water station. Diane's dinner lunch was delicious and reasonably priced. I dont get excited about gas stations often but this was a good one!

Went there for lunch and not a single employee was wearing a mask. 75% of customers were maskless. Kind of ironic since the was a sign on the entrance staying masks were required.

Can't seem to get an order right. Ordered pancakes without sugar or whipped cream. Got the sugar and no syrup or butter. Wife ordered a BLT with potato salad. No potato salad. Food Is average at best. Have messed up almost all our recent orders. Takes about 20 minutes to correct an order. Service has really gone down hill in the past couple of years.

Good food, nice little retro style. Just a warning if your stopping by after September. They change their hours after the 30th, so they close at 4PM.

Love choice of drinks. Onion rings and okra was amazing.

The food here could have been better. The atmosphere is spot on for an old diner. The food is okay however it is fairly bland. They serve typical comfort foods and breakfasts.

Their chincken fry steak is the best thar I have had in the State of Texas.

The decor was super cute... Clean... Well maintained. The girl who took our order was sweet. The burgers did not come out together. Mine was correct but was dry. The meat was not fresh... It was frozen that was grilled. The second was wrong. The poor sweet girl brought it and said oh we ran out of buns, but used light bread and the cook put the wrong cheese... I hope that's ok. My companion said ..Well no, but I'm hungry and tired from traveling so I'll deal with it. She didn't know what to do except to say she was sorry and not look at us again. I was hoping for better...

Good spot to grab a quick lunch while in Halletsville also they have Creme Bruelle on drip a Louisiana chicory coffee blend.

This is a diner in a travel center. They cook up the food for each order, I had breakfast and it was really good. Very big pancakes.

We love their pancakes with the crispy edges and all the special jams are so tasty.

Excellent all the way around. Will return to this restaurant.

Clean environment, nice employees but the burgers were frozen patties with no flavor, very disappointing!! Burger looked good on the picture but that's about it and for that price, I was better off waiting til I got to my hometown for a Whataburger.

We love eating at Diane`s diner! Expect I little wait if you go during lunch but it's well worth it.

Diane and Randy, fantastic job. My wife and I are moving out here and this was our first meal. Lovely wait staff, tasty food, and a great clean atmosphere to eat in.
