I love this place it's very very cozy I think it's the quintessential of cozy. Their coffee is fantastic the people are very nice and the food is actually pretty good too I had there sausage soup the other day ( I'm sorry I really don't know the name of it) and it was magnificent.

The reason I took a star off of my review is because I just don't like their hours. They don't open early enough for a coffee shop which is when I really really desperately need coffee: On my way to work.

But all in all it is an incredible place to take a friend, colleague, or client!

Great ambience, friendly staff, high quality eats and good coffee, with all the typical hot and cold variants. Tons of seating with three semi private rooms, one large open area and outdoor seating as well. We will definitely go out of our way to be back again!

I love the Oreo Blender!! And that they have art from local artists on the walls!!! The staff is nice and the atmosphere is great for everything from business meeting to live performances from local bands and they ever have a regular open mic!

I really love this place. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. One of my favorites is the Apple Walnut Salad with chicken of course. Don't even get me started on the drinks. Lol. You can't go wrong eating here.

I love this coffee bar! It s such a nice place to get work done. I ve only been there during non-peak hours but the atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I like the decorations and the art hanging on the wall as well!

This is a fantastic place if your looking for a cool atmosphere and tasty food Just don't go for hot coffee. My Irishman coffee was seriously like flavored dish water. Couldn't finish it.

Favorite coffee spot in the cedar hill area, always consistent. Sad to see the menu has shrunk. The pastries are also very delicious. Highly recommend.

Great place for breakfast or lunch coffee is local and good. They can also make anything you want espresso, frappaccino, cold brew, etc, etc...

Starbucks can't hold a candle to The Lighthouse Coffee Bar!!! Midlothian Jam Session venue!!! Good music played and sang by good friends!! Come on out on the first Tuesday of the month. Fantastic!!!

Cosy, friendly, and doesn't have that overwhelming coffee smell (a major plus to me). They are super friendly and sweet here, it is a local favorite. They learned my name within a couple days of coming by! Very recommended if you are in the area!

What a beautiful hideaway. I had the pleasure of taking in the Coffee Bar's ambience, interesting flavors, and awesome artwork with a very special friend of mine. Though outside the city, maintains an eccentricity that is as encompassing as it is unique. I tried a 'Sgt Pepper Latte on my first visit, and I was not disappointed. The Lighthouse Bar offers satisfying sandwiches and paninis; a stage and upstairs art gallery, and so many great pieces on its walls.

Great coffee shop with a great atmosphere. Spend allot of time here studying and just hanging out. Staff are really friendly and know some great jokes!

Cool spot to grab some good coffee and a tasty snack or sandwich. I had the Sweet Georgia Brown and a BLT, they were both tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Came in Sunday after church. The food was great. Blended drink? Seems like the blender stopped working halfway through, there were huge chunks of ice all throughout. For a coffee shop I hoped for better drinks. I'll come back and hopefully it's better

It's got a beautiful interior space that's inviting to study/lounge/converse in. Lots of light upstairs.
The food and coffee is really good as well. Their chicken Caesar salad was really good(no scrimping on the chicken) and the banana/peanut butter frozen coffee thing was great. Didn't go overboard on the sugar.
Service is very good and friendly. One of the dudes at the register was walking around and grabbed my trash and refilled my water.
This will become my go to study/reading coffee-shop.

Good food often with live music. Different than anything else around. one critique is that while the food is good the pirtion seems to vary upon who is preparing the food.

I really have a special attachment to this place. I can honestly say it s the overall best coffee shop around.

The place itself is clean, very spacious, and very comfortable. There is a multitude of comfortable couches and great study areas where you can easily clam down for hours.

The walls are surrounded by local art that is also available for purchase.

As far as prices go, it s not only reasonable, it s affordable. The homemade pastries are always great, and very cheap. The prices on sandwiches are a bit elevated for what they are, though.

Their quality is always consistent. I have tried every single signature latte, and some blenders and food items and Lighthouse has never disappointed.

To rate this place as the most incredible coffee in DFW would be a stretch, but they re all pretty good. Much better place, much more affordable and much more unpretentious than a certain Rhinoceros down the road in Cedar Hill.

Great place to go if you want a nice quaint get- away coffee spot. A lot of seating both inside and out so you don't feel like you are crowded by others. Both the food and coffee had a good taste and the staff was friendly as well. Will definitely go back.

The food here is excellent. Good sandwiches and amazing coffee and drinks. They can be a bit slow, but they are doing things from scratch, so its an acceptable wait. I am not much into the entertainment portion, but I am happy they offer something and people seem to appreciate it.

Additionally, as a non-member of this local place of worship (whom sponsors the location), I really appreciate that they do not attempt to preach, ram, or push their beliefs or place of worship onto you at all. In fact unless you pay attention, you would never know this was sponsored by the local lighthouse church.

Nice hangout, friendly employees. Latte was good, but my wife's coffee was lukewarm, though. Had to ask them to warm up in microwave. Which leads me to wonder how fresh it was.

Good coffee, cozy place, nice staff. From iced to hot I like a good amount of the drinks. However if you get a blended drink and hear the blender get stopped early your drink is not gonna be that great. It's crunchy...

Lighthouse is by far my favorite coffee shop. The service is exemplary, I've never gotten a bad drink. I've tried almost everything on the menu and you really can't go wrong. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed. It is a great place to come if you have to get some work done, a great place to write. The Batistas are very knowledgeable and friendly.it can't get much better. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

This is my favorite place to go for lunch. The food and drinks are all so tasty. It can get very busy, so if you want to be there to experience the atmosphere when its peaceful, go after 1:30pm. Great place to read and relax.
