Liftopia, Inc. Review

Used them in 2018 and worked like a charm. No issues cashing in at the lift ticket counter or perplexed looks. Just bought them for a second time in 2020. This time the tickets and guest names must be disclosed and are non transferable so be careful buying for someone else unless you know for sure they want to ski on that day. Otherwise, if you know you are going to go, this is the absolute best way to save money. I saved over 35% on Friday 2/14/2020. What a nice way to spend Valentine's Day.

Check mountain prices. Often the same. Otherwise okay altho strict no change policy.

Should be able to purchase tickets for different resorts on different dates in the same transaction instead of having to start from scratch each time, including having to enter payment info each time. The most important thing, however, is the nice discount they provide, which is great. Figured I saved over $100 for my 4 days of skiing for an upcoming trip. (No, none were included in an Epic Pass.)

Would be great to be able to search mountains instead of just locations. Find myself going to google to get the specific page I want.

Would be great to optimize payment page to allow for easy input of credit card info via chrome (when you select saved credit card, does not autofill).

This site made it easy and understandable to grab some tickets for my boys and me. The only suggestion I have is that it'd be nice if the ticket details were moved up higher on the checkout page.

I Have been a frequent customer of liftopia, but I am done after my most recent experience. When 80% of the mountain was shut down on a Friday, they refused to transfer my ticket to the next day so that I could enjoy the whole mountain on another day. I said I would pay the difference in cost and they still refused. They transfer lift tickets sold by the mountain to the next day, so I was shocked that liftopia wouldn t give their customers good service by doing the same. It s not that they can t , it s that they WON T, which just doesn t seem right to me. I will no longer be purchasing through liftopia because of this experience.

Easy to use, and did the job. The fact that I don't remember much of the interaction means that it worked the way it should have...

Frustrating customer service associates, unclear rules for use of lift tickets on site, and a real scumbag of a manager (if you ever get a chance to talk to one). I do 2-3 ski trips each year, and will find other ways to get on the hill than this company.

I bought a ticket and found out later that day that it was the wrong mountain. I called Liftopia and explained this and they gave me a merchandise credit to purchase the correct mountain. This was so nice of them to do this since I know they have a no return policy. Thank you Liftopia!!

not good. was stuck on Chair lift for two and a half hours and missed out on 3hrs skiing as still needed to eat food. waste of a day as maybe got 8 runs in max, not worth the 90 dollars

Actually, I am quit upset with Liftopia. I bought the Black Friday gift card deals so I could get the bonus gift deal that was supposed to come on 12/20, but as of 11:33 PM, the bonus tickets STILL did not come in time for me to take advantage of lower ticket prices that were going up on the 21st. For me, it defeated the purpose of the bonus deal... that is why I bought the tickets. I would have just bought from the resort. Bummer and bad advertising that they didn't deliver as promoted.

This is a great service to find affordable skiing. As a senior it affords the opportunity to be active many times during a long New England winter. The only issue I would mention is that though the site seems to indicate my info is being saved, it does not save it so have to renter each time I go in.

Pretty good price compared to resort web site. Saved about 15-20%

I have used liftopia for the last year. When snow valley had to close down because of Road closure ,liftopia credited my account before I made it home. They have been great.

It was easy and when we price shopped it was the least expensive!

Resort was scheduled to open December 9. Showed up December 11th, was turned away by resort staff due to dangerous conditions. NO ADVANCED NOTICE. Requested a refund from Lifttopia and was denied due to there "technically was one lift open" and they were not responsible for weather conditions. There was no lift open, just small children WALKING up and riding down the small hill to the side. I got my money back within an hour from Citibank. Lifttopia needs to seriously reconsider how they operate their customer service. Not only did they get a charge back they will lose all future business from me and hopefully anyone who reads this review. Bad business.

I have used Liftopia for years. I appreciate the discount ticket prices. If not for the discount, I would not afford to go skiing which is my favorite sport. I like the email information too.

Love Liftopia! Lots of deals and very easy to process - takes about 5 minutes once you know the routine. I never buy the insurance, but it s very easy to understand. No fine print, just fine powder!

Always works very smoothly. Nice to enjoy savings on lift tickets. Only problem was that I couldn t purchase tickets for the entire four days that we will be skiing.

Easy to use app, would be a 5 star if a default currency could be set, instead of USD until the last step.

Giving 5 star but prices for tickets went up because it took so long to gather and enter the reusable cards for tickets and it timed out. Otherwise very convenient and great to get a discount.

Using the site helps with saving some money to ski. As many of you know skiing isn't cheap and very dollar saved can be used on the next trip. I am happy that this service is available.

I was so pleased to find tickets for substantially less through Liftopia. Super easy, convenient, wonderful customer service. When I accidentally put my name instead of my daughters, I called right away and they switched it without any hesitation.

Horrible experience. Waited overnight for my confirmation email to pick up the over $500 ticket purchase from Liftopia already deducted from my checking account.... No 24 hour customer service. Stressed all night...was this was a scam because my purchase is not even listed on my order summary when I log on to the App. Still waiting now... hopefully we can ski today??? It is already paid for.

They hide the refund policy from you and then make you eat the cost of lift tickets you don't even use with 5 days advance warning. Just buy your tickets direct from the mountain, the deals they provide aren't even that good or worth the trouble.
