Unbelievable - They took a credit card payment of mine for COBRA insurance and told me it takes 5 - 7 days to process - No help at all in making sure I had my health insurance set up - they would not notify my insurace carrier I was paid. Took about 10 calls to figure out why I had not received my cobra health insurance. Worst company ever!
Can I give a negative star? I've dealt with these people for two employers now. They truly are inept and I honestly believe they don't have the funds to pay the claims, so they deny outright. At one point they continuously said they hadn't received my claim (submitted multiple times by both email and fax), when I finally got an acknowledgement of my claim submission, they asked for a receipt in a specific format with a doctor's signature, and when I got that to them within a few days (bless the doctor who did it for me with very little notice) their response was that I was past the submission deadline and the claim was closed. Not a litigious person, but I wish somebody would take this company to task.
They are horrible! If I didn't like my job so much I'd find one without Univera and Lifetime Benefits! I had to have a conference with my employer and the insurance company to get them to pay for services. They did reimburse me, but it's been a nightmare!
RUN. This company is awful; they deny claims for basic services and then claim they "have no idea" why claims were denied, and that they cannot track the checks for services that THEY cut. When I had this company, I was CONSTANTLY on the phone, having to figure out why they were not processing claims for basic dental cleanings--- I had to submit THREE of my families' claims in 1 year MYSELF due to their incompetence and "having no idea". Then, a check they cut for payment was lost in the mail and they claim they can't track it nor reissue it (because they obviously aren't keeping proper records), so I'm left with the entire bill! Crooks.

Should be investigated for fraud. Refuses to pay for claims they authorized. Our company learned quickly how fraudulent they are, and switched to BCBS, and Lifetime Benefit Solutions refuses to assist customers regarding claims for treatment handled under their insurance. Agents are RUDE, INCOMPETENT and DON'T CARE. The only thing they keep saying is that its BCBS's issue now. Healthcare is a joke in the United States, and it's companies like this that are the issue.
These guys are the worst. Routinely loss claims ect. Customer service is terrible. If your looking for a healthcare administrator keep looking. If your a current client petition your management to hire a decent organization.
Delayed paying claim until window was up and was no longer their responsibility. Weasels.
There hasn't been a more incompetent company. They require receipts for everything and make it such a hassle that my wife and I do not want to even have a flex spending account anymore.
My spouse and I are taking part in a school district retiree healthcare plan. I am depending on LBS to fund my retirement Healthcare premium. Years ago, I tried to put a claim in for a dental procedure and it was denied!? Just trying to get info on claim procedures is a mystery. I don't want to judge too harshly but this company seems to make a habit out of shorting customers on service!
