Not sure where the other reviewers are from or if they are employed by LifePoint. But if a hospital is owned by LifePoint. I avoid it. I have change Drs, specialists, and surgeon that moved to LifePoint. I take my personal healthcare very seriously. I don't feel that LifePoint does.

I was employed by a hospital purchased by Lifepoint. We were told we'd have all this support. They didn't support a leader continuing education, they'd rather hire someone at a lesser pay without experience. They sounded like they lived by best practices....not. They sounded like your input would be heard...not. What a huge disappointment. Their hospitals could be so great if had better upper management (levels 1 & 2). They ruined the culture and atmosphere of every department. They don't understand paying market wages to compete with the 3-4 major competitor hospitals in the area. Promises not kept. Sad that no one ever answers the phone and they can't keep employees!!

I have reached out to LifePoint Health and one of their affiliate hospitals, Andalusia Health, over a matter of carelessness and unprofessionalism in their hospitals. I have yet to hear back from anyone. The Andalusia Health location is staffed with incompetent employees who do not care about patient health or care.
