The staff here are always really helpful and friendly. The hotel is always scrupulously clean and comfortable. The facilities are great, the food is great and on top of the that price is exceptional value. I'm a return visitor. Couldn't be happier with my booking.
killeshin hotel
Had a lovely experience in the Killeshin. I officiated at a wedding ceremony. I could not have been made more welcome by the staff. Treated to coffee while I waited and given plenty of space and time to prepare. Lovely venue
Smart hotel conveniently located both a five minute stroll to town and a three minute drive to the motorway ramp. Staff are friendly and hard working. All the usual Covid precautions are evident. Rooms are large, spotless with a decent sized flat screen TV. Coffee and tea making facilities are in the room along with complimentary snacks and bottled water. The bar restaurant is large, quiet with a convivial atmosphere. Wi-Fi is complimentary and adequate. Parking is on site and also no charge.
My visit in a hotel was fantastic mostly because of excellent staff service. Spotless clean, high standard rooms, privacy on a highest standard, amazing atmosphere. Highly recommended for all purposes.

It's a classic place. Situated in a main area and have a good car park. Okay
I haven't stayed here before, but it's not that great with their food. I once ordered goujons with steak before, the steak was hardened and the goujons were very greasy. I couldn't eat that at all. their chocolate brownies are alright but a bit hard. whatever the hell that thing at the entrance is is nice though. it's okay to me, other people may like it.
I stayed in The Killeshin for work purposes last night and had a fantastic experience. I ate in the bar and had the Chicken Korma which was absolutely delicious! Natalia was the server and she was brilliant. Offered me her recommendations from the menu and was very knowledgeable. The room was clean and I felt very safe as well as the bed being really comfortable. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Portlaoise.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. I enjoyed my stay there. But the water wasn't hot enough for me lol. Breakfast lovely. The bed very comfortable i will go back again yes. Sadly i do not have pictures.
