Absolutely delicious food. Impeccable customer service. A wonderful place to have a special meal
Absolutely delicious food. Impeccable customer service. A wonderful place to have a special meal
Service was ok. Part of our order we didn't receive. Offered fresh cracked black pepper halfway through the salad, and fresh cheese halfway through the meal.
A great cocktail while I wait out horrible traffic for my commute home. (A Negroni but with lemon instead of orange. A nice twist by the bartender)
Staff is super friendly
The service here is fantastic they are super attentive. The food is good depending on what you get. I had lasagna which was great and a friend had the gnocchi which was also very good. however upon a second visit we got the pasta trio and it was lack luster. lost a start for consistency.
Very good. Pasta was amazing. If in the Pitt gotta give it a shot
Nice place for a date. Gets noisy in side when crowded.
Had the brunch on a visit to the Strip District. Except for the hostess, the staff was very nice, outgoing, helpful, and went out of their way to explain things to us and see to our needs and wants
The brunch allows you unlimited visits to the appetizer and dessert bar and choice of one entree. Of course , if you choose the three pasta combo, they give you tastes of all three. You then decide which you like, and it's all you can eat after that.
American imagination of Italian cuisine. Absolutely trash. Don't even try!
The food and service is to die for . I never had to ask for anything it was anticipated before could even ask.
What a great experience for my family. The waiting staff were extremely helpful in making accommodations for one of my family members who s a vegetarian. She was able to enjoy all of the same dishes with the needed modifications for her dietary needs. The food was prompt and was made fresh. This is a place I would recommend to a friend that were visiting the Pittsburgh area.
This was our first time to this high end restaurant and I'm giving it two stars due to the lack of respect of our server has givin us. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good But the server talked to us like we were complete rejects. Saying that we didn't understand things and how he would kick it down a bit so we could understand, when in fact we did understand. Not to mention when I asked if any of the entrees came with a side salad he told me no I need to purchase it separate but if money is an issue for our family, he understands. We were also never asked if we would like a refill on either of our drinks. We ordered Dessert and waited a good 30 minutes to receive it and another 25 minutes for our check then about another 20-25 minutes for our server to cash us out. Also the weather outside is rainy and chilly and the air in this place was freezing cold so if you decide to eat here be sure to take a jacket. I don't feel like you should treat someone with such disrespect because they appear to be young. You g people are not stupid but it seems as if your 30 you should not eat here because you will be judged as if your an idiot and broke.
Worse service ever, we went for someone's birthday brought a cake with us, they charged a 20 dollar cake cutting fee! What? Spent 300 bucks and still had to pay 20 bucks to cut our cake
Lidia's Pittsburgh is a great casual fine dining destination in Pittsburghs warehouse district. VERY INVITING Mediterranean style interior comfortable seating and generous high quality portions of Lidias best family recipes !!! A must go to for any fan of Italian fine dining . Great for intimate date dinners or family celebrations. Most dishes are all meant to share!!
Best "Bester Bestest" So this post is well overdue because I wrongly reviewed it for federal Galley. To go to the point, we organized my sister's baby shower here and right from the beginning to the end, everything was pleasant. Ashley the private dining manager was very helpful and accommodating. On the day of everybody was amazing, good was wonderfully delicious, servers were polite and catered for us with love and lots of smiles. Everyone in my party was delighted. We will definitely go there over over and over again
If you are in search of a heart attack then by all means, common over. I thought I was in Alabama - the huge heeps of fat-ladden fries on a hamburger smothered w/ cheese and lard. As much as I love pierogies and halushki, the heart attack fare of Primonti Bros is not my thing.
Food was perfectly cooked and delicious, and the staff went out of their way to make our meal amazing.
We tried Lidia's for the first time last night, definitely disappointed. The complimentary bread and dips were nice, but the entrees were not. I ordered "Carbonara di Carciofo." The pasta was under cooked, gummy with a hard center. The flavors were ok. My friend ordered the "Salmone". The salmon was very dry and no seasoning. The asparagus was chopped up into tiny pieces and mixed in with the fregola. For $28 It ended up looking like something out of a green giant freezer bag. We had dirty glasses that they did fix. Service was ok. Overall, won't be going back since the food and service do not meet the high price.
An amazing place to please your palet. A must stop if you are in Pittsburgh! Tell them Marv Grandstaff sent you.
Excellent service and food. Will definitely return.
Great food! Little understaffed for a Saturday but worth the wait.
Little to pricey for what you get. Food was just ok, nothing special.
Food was not as good as I expected it to be ' sorry
I took my mother here for a special dinner. She always wanted to come here so I was excited to take her! The service was great and she loved her food. The building is beautiful! There is valet parking available. She ordered the noodle trio special and I ordered my favorite Italian dish-Chicken Parmesan. She enjoyed her food. I tasted it and agreed! My chicken wasn't the best and I was disappointed. It wasn't terrible but I guess I just expected more. We got dessert and OH MY GOODNESS! It made up for my sub par chicken. It was heavenly.
I don't think I'll come back. We had a nice experience.
Food was delicious and the venue was very well done.
Food was very very good. Group had steak, pasta and drinks. Was great time in a great restaurant
Worst experience of my Easter weekend visit to Pittsburgh. Went there with my 52 year old son, 46 yr old daughter-in-law & two 20 something granddaughters. The bill was astronomical, including a $45 charge for a grilled cheese & tomato soup order for one of the girls. The waiter made things unpleasant immediately when he asked for proof of age before serving a glass of wine to my daughter-in-law. She couldn't find her ID, left in another purse. He called the manager over who said he "would think about" serving her, although her stepdaughter was served a beer with no problem. By that time, none of us were in the mood to enjoy a meal. I don't even remember if I liked the food or not & don't plan to return. Oh, I forgot the charge for parking! Don't go there if you want a pleasant experience.
