Drove for them for over a year. I enjoyed working even though the benefits were screwed up... I really enjoyed working for Cindy in Portsmouth, she always took care of you. Sometimes the load sucked but it was just the luck of the draw. Greg in Minnesota was awesome to run for also.. If you looked out for them, they looked out for you.... I appreciated the experience for what it was... I hear now they have electronic log books and I want nothing to do with those.....

Been with them about 5 years. To Dan, last month I took 5 days off and ran a total of 11500 miles. Guess they forgot that I wasn't supposed to get 9250 miles. Just goes to show that if you are willing to run, they will run you. By the way, I haven't lost full time status since I first started with them.

I HAD TO LAUGH AT THE OWNER OPERATORS PAY.... LOL !!! Don't even want to imagine what company drivers are paid here. LOL !!! Hung up on the recruiter after I heard that knee slapper. Choked on the coffee and my son got a great kick out of that one. Not bad Lessors Inc. Not bad at all. lol

They'll run you okay for the first six months or so, then back you way off and keep you there. You have to run 9250 miles/month to maintain full-time status (and your insurance, vacations, and pay raises) and you absolutely will *NOT* be able to do it. They simply won't allow it.

The owner has a really nice new Porsche though.

I drove for lessors in 2004 the load I had was yogurt the driver who switched loads with me in Eagan MN but didn't say reefer cut on and off. When I noticed the problem I notified dispatcher but he said no worry just get to destination. I did my best to keep reefer on .i get to destination the load was no good ..the owner got me back to MN gave me an ultimatum agree to pay ten grand thru my paycheck or be fired on the spot so I signed agreement but I signed Joe neckbone. Lol I then got a load back east and held the truck hostage till I got my money that I worked for. All loads are insured. Y punish the driver when you have calls recorded and you know reefer was blown out...hey it is. What it is But the company sucks ...new equipment doesn't shine all the time. Give respect ...u. Get respect

Company terminated my wife for parking at a Truckstop in GA and getting a rental car to drive to see me in the hospital in Pensacola. This had been approved by her driver manager who conveniently was on vacation and no record un system. She was always sitting waiting on a load unless dispatched by 1 Great Planner (John) and as others have said, the benefits are horrible (says $7,500 family deductible but after being admitted from the ER and a 7 day stay, got a bill for 35K not including the ER, Dr's and testing) plus the terminated her insurance day she was fired and it will not cover the surgery I had day after even though it was scheduled and approved.

It will be a year next week.. And within that year, I've had a lot of family issues!
And with that said..
Most companies would tell you to leave, or they'd fire you.
But everyone here at Lessors, has help in one way or another!
And Yes, like all companies there's always drama! Although communication is key!
So a big thanks to everyone for making this Lessor driver feel like family!

It's been a yr now. Driver manager is AWESOME to work with. Sure you will have a bit of extra time on your loads occasionally since they do the math at 50mph. But that gives you plenty of time to relax and not be in a hurry.(unless you have a weak bladder) Plenty of room for improvements which i feel needed but I've been here a yr and may stay longer as long as i am continued to be treated like an actual human. If you want miles..and lots of them..you need to stay out longer but also prove you wont dilly dally. Get it done. Reset, deliver, and keep going. All you have to do is ASK!
Yr 2, Wow what a yr, drive an average of 11,000 miles a month. And proved I was reliable. Great pay! Great miles! and Great equipment! And Definitely an AWESOME employer. BTW detention pay is based on contracts with the shippers. Some only pay after the 3rd hr. But if you're late to deliver and you sit for hrs.. you screwed up and dont deserve the detention pay. But if your reliably on time..prefer 1hr early.. you'll get your detention pay.

I have worked as a dispatcher in transportation for 30+ years. At least 20 of that in trucking as a fleet manager, planner and account manager. Believe me when I say you should avoid this company. Drivers are treated poorly and are dispatched insanely. Made to wait all day and then run all night like they are some kind of robots. Then usually sit a day between runs. They seem to think if they can make it look good on the logs it's ok to do it.Then when appointments are missed its the drivers fault. I worked there 3 months and was astounded by the blatant disregard for the drivers and their safety. Their main planners either have no clue what their doing or are former drivers who like to bend the rules. There are way better companies out there to work for.

As the traffic manager for Jennie-O Foods, I found Lessors, Inc. to be flawless in their Right On Time pickups and deliveries. They scored 100% on our internal program audit, making no mistakes in EDI commitments and deliveries over the course of an entire year. They, and James, do tremendous work.

Great place to work. Dispatchers are great. I had some family problems and Garrick Gaffigan did as well. Howevever, he is a manager that gets to choose to work half days while firing drivers that are in the same situation. I hope karma hits him and his Mercedes
