Lehman Center for the Performing Arts Review

The Torito concert was phenomenal although I think they should have more security because they do not check anyone's purses or backpacks and it is very dangerous.

I love it is super organized all in time. Very good

It is a very accessible place for everyone. Their prices are very varied, for different POCKETS. Their SHOWS ARE EXPECTACULAR and OF A LOT OF CULTURAL LEARNING. THANK YOU LEHMAN CENTER.

I have been to Lehman several times to attend concerts. I have never had issues coming in, being helped to my seat or enjoying the events. It can get crowded in the lobby while waiting to be seated but that is nothing once you sit and watch shows. The acoustics are great and the actual concert hall felt cozy and welcoming. I also love that Lehman has an amazing roster of artists and ticket prices are accessible for most people. Definitely will continue to come to Lehman!

Really Nice Performing Arts Center & Really Nice People Working there

I had a great time. The ticket price was reasonable and I was pretty close. I recommend it.

The A free wealth management group used Barbra Corcoran brand to promote a weekend stock option course for $ 997 for 2. Barbra did tell her story after the sign up. She said NOTHING about the wealth management plan, the smart ones were the ones who didn't go for plan and listened to Barbra story for free.

The seats are uncomfortable especially for the disabled person

Nice theatre but the staff, horrible! Unprofessional and disorganized! My first time there for a concert and my last!

Good sounds, seats are very comfortable. The only problem the security staff won't let you stand and dance

The excellent theater, the live music of Gilberto Sata Rosa we did not enjoy. But, one that another standing in the corridors or dancing interrupt the view of the others. I hope you take action, whoever wants to dance, Go to a dance hall. "It is jn Performant gentlemen"

It a great place for concert. We have a great time as a Family when we go. The only complaint is that the seats are very close together and uncomfortable for older people.

I graduated from Lehman college in 1985. I'm always happy to return to the campus for events. Ruben sings Luther was excellent. I had a wonderful time.

This is place for a little cultural experience. The bands are great here. The place is just right to see and hear everything just right.

I attended the Latin Legends with special guest Gilberto Santa Rosa concert at Lehman today September 22, 2018. The performance was superb!

However, due to a recent seating renovation, seating was a disaster. Incredibly long lines for seating and, once seated, other customers appeared claiming they had purchased the same seats. In addition the parking lot was completely unattended, both before and after the concert, resulting in confusion and long lines entering and exiting the lot.

I have been going to Lehman concerts for many years and have never experienced such chaos. Eva and Nereida: get your act together! Otherwise, you may begin to experience huge drops in ticket sales and many more empty seats. The artists and the public that support the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts deserve so much better.

It was great. Faust Rey is an example to follow. I enjoyed it to the fullest.

The concert was good but the venue was very rough around the edges. Not enough bathrooms. Venue look old and needs a face lift.

I'm a HUGE FAN of MICHAEL JACKSON! the TRIBUTE 4 MJ done at Lehman Center. The performance was simply AMAZING! Next time its GIVEN, PLAN 2 b RIGHT BACK THERE AGAIN, with my grand KIDS whom can dance "the dance" similar 2 MJ! Wish they had some original "tee shirts" bearing that performance! We U MJ

Seats are new and comfortable however the sound system needs to be adjusted

Recently renovated and a beautiful place to come with family and friends, parking is a lil rough in the area come early..but an awesome time.
I've been to several shows.the best yet is La Sonora Poncenia legendary Salsa Orchestra with Papo Luca just Amazing show.

Is a great performing arts place. I went for a salsa music concert.

Beautiful campus. The air conditioner in the performance hall was amazing especially for last Friday.

Sorry to say, the seats were too narrow and not disability friendly. My husband had to go down two sets of stairs just to get to our seats with his cane, I also speak for the other disable people. When they renovated they should have thought of this.

I love it! It's a smaller setting. Way better than Madison Square Garden. I got to see Gladys Knight. Awesome show. I also saw the a Disco show with Tanvares, Richie family,Frances Joli, Fonda Rae,Sharon Brown,CeCe Peniston, awesome show!!!!! Love my Disco music

I love the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts. I am a graduate of Lehman College and always enjoy returning to the campus. The shows are great, the prices charged are reasonable and they have great performers! The Performing Arts Center is an asset to the Bronx.

Center for Performing Arts and I have yet to disappointment. Highly recommended.

A place to enjoy the best Artists

I just sent my 5th email to the president of Lehman College Daniel Lemon in regard to the last minute cancelation of Celia the Musical. The Lehman Box office as well as Lehman itself has been non responsive. What is happening with the refunds that were promised to hundreds of people? This is not the way to treat loyal customers who pay good money to see performances at Lehman. I think it is safe to say that this has left a bad taste in many of our mouths as well as making our decision to pass on any future shows.This is not going away people!

Out $75 for the performance that never happened

This is a very remarkable theater complex not only in The Bronx in particular, but also in New York at large. What I like the most about the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is the ability of its curators to always surprise the audience with fresh, cutting edge, and classic performances covering the complex richness and multiplicity of nuances characteristic of Latin American and Caribbean cultural manifestations.

Didn't really like the Mummenschanz show. The theater seats were tight and confining. My back started to hurt and the show wasn't that long.

Large space for various types of shows and staged programs.

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is a gem in the Bronx. The Center is a big venue but you don't feel lost in it. You feel like you are right in the performance. I've been here twice. The first time was for a Michael Jackson celebration and the other time was for Parranda Navidena,

I attended a Dru Hill concert at the lehman center. The staff very pleasant, and organized. I had a wonderful experience, I would consider another concert or event. here. Also, it's very close to home.

Excellent concert hall. All seats are great. The sound travels well throughout. The variety of performances held there meet the needs of all. Brava!

My favorite experience at Lehman Center is the "Golden Oldies" concerts. I have attended several of these, and they are the best! It's great to have this experience close to where I live, and the ability to park easily. The acoustics in the theater are excellent, the staff is accommodating, and the performances are top notch. Excellent value for your entertainment dollar!

I was disappointed that a show that was sold off as a Disco show turned to be anything then a Disco show with R&B, Hip Hop and other genre of music. I left during intermission!

We enjoyed the concert. For the amount of people they pack in there they need more bathrooms and bigger.

Took my wife who lived out the Salsa hey-days, herself, to see Willie Colon and his band a while back. We liked everything about the Lehman Center and applaud the effort to bring quality entertainment to the borough. That said, we both agreed that the acoustics of the auditorium left a lot to be desired, unfortunately.

Easy location to get too. Very spacious! I love the place.

Went to see the Celia Cruz experience. After we were seated we were informed that "due to technical difficulties" they would not be able to perform the show. We were told we had 10mins to go to the box office for a refund. There was a mass exodus from the theater & total choas as ppl went to get a refund. The box office closed because of the amount of ppl. They were disorganized & unprepared. Disappointing.

Ticket prices are high for the venue and the food and drinks as well, 14 dollars for a large glass of wine that cost 9 dollars and you can get 4 glasses .Definitely not cool... go to MSG instead
