The seats HAVE to be upgraded! DISGUSTING! Other than that, it was ok.
It would have been a 5 except their seating chart on their website is old and we had to wait until they figured it out for our seats otherwise it was great. Staff was very professional helpful and nice.
I love the shows, entertainment, and performers that Lehman bring. So worth it and the prices are reasonable. Thank you for all you do!
Very fun interesting place to visit very entertaining the performance was outstanding looking forward to seeing many more
It was great.. I love the testimonies they said and every thing it touch my heart
Very disappointed with Lehman Performing Arts Center. Went with my sister and niece to see the Celia Cruz (Nov 2019) show and after maneuvering through hundreds of people in the halls without any assistance from Lehman ushers, discovered that the performance had been cancelled and was given a mere 10 minutes to go to the box office and request a refund. So could you just imagine, hundreds of people aiming to the box office! 10 minutes! are you kidding me? There was chaos this particular evening due to Lehman's below standard management direction. Lehman Arts Center did have a show replacement, but why did they wait until we were seated to inform us.We were not even informed when we picked up our tickets there the same day of the performance. Go figure....
Excellent venue for a graduation. Excellent space, immaculate and well maintained.
Amazing show enjoyed the senior handicap seating Thank you Lehman
At this time they are on construction making space for wheelchairs, but there is no ramp for the stage.
Since I discover Lehman Center I always look over for any performing's, Is close to my house free and always parking and great shows with the most important affordable prices. No need to go to the city anymore :)
Thank you
Love going to concerts here! Good sound excellent! I don't have to go to the city to see a good show
Love this place. Especially their kids/senior accessible arts!
Only one ladies restroom with only three stalls. Very inconvenient.
I was there on May 30th for the Mint Condition and Tone!Toni!Tony! concert. I had a wonderful time!!! The place was clean, the staff very professional. That was my first time at the Lehman Concert Hall and I definitely plan to go there again!
The worst. We just went to a SALSA music concert and people in the audience were playing MARACAS. Since when are people allowed to bring instruments to a music concert? They need to make an announcement at the beginning of the concert to make sure instruments other than the ones the band on stage are playing are not played during the event . Very unfortunate!
Great prices for a variety of entertainment. My favorite are the latin performances.
The space is nice. The performance that I saw not that much
Went there with my kid on a school trip there auditorium is very spacious for shows
I have enjoyed many shows at Lehman, my Alma Mater. From Julio Iglesias to Bronx Opera. Beats traveling into Manhattan, acustics are great.prices reasonable. A gem located in the Bronx.
Nice venue for concerts. No elevator to reach upper levels if needed.
As always Lehman Center for the Performance Arts is a little piece of paradise in the Bronx for all true artists. Artists in every sense of the word. If you looking for diversified unique and great entertainment in the Bronx, Lehman Center for the Performance Arts is one of your best options.
It's always a pleasant place to visit. It's got great shows, great prices and most of all great parking. Don't miss a chance to attend any show.
Great Place for CONCERTS BEEN GOING THERE SINCE MARC ANTHONY FISY STARTED.
A nice venue but with a warped pricing structure, paid $65 only to end up in one of the worst seats in the venue. I think you're better of paying for cheaper tickets. The queue for the toilets is also very very long and the police presence in the actual venue is unnerving. They should remove the front two rows, they are so badly placed and yet considered the "best" seats. Even the far left hand side of the front row is the highest price tier, you'll be craning your neck with a view of almost nothing if sat there.
It was so hot on a hot day to much noise and to much lights
I attended the spring concert. They didn't charge for admission but it was so beautiful I had to donate. Very well done and the place is beautiful and comfortable.
It's a CUNY venue, so you get about what you'd expect. The side seats are blocked by a waist-high concrete wall that is impossible to see over if you're short and isn't apparent on the seating chart.
I have seen many shows at Lehman and have enjoyed them all. They offer a wide array of shows for all tastes. The venue is the right size so that wherever you sit you don't miss anything happening on stage. Prices are also reasonable for great entertainment unlike venues like Barclay Center and Madison Square Garden. The crowds are also more tolerable. I highly recommend Lehman Center.
Great concerts, food and drinks! Latin concerts have food empanadas provided Havana Cafe and drinks beer, wine and soda. Unfortunately no concerts since Covid 19 pandemic in mid March 2020.
The Soweto Gospel Choir was exceptional. This was truly a holiday blessing.
Very nice performance hall...all seats seemed to be good, at good prices...f'rinstance, my group of 9 saw Polish Mazowse performing, we had gotten the mid-range priced seats, and they were at balcony level, kinda close...the same at Koch Theatre in Lincoln Center would've cost 4x as much!
Always a great experience and pretty much no bad seats in the room. The plugs are just some of the first floor seating. I couldn't take pics of the balcony seats.
Ive been here twice one in 2002 and now 2019 for the Yolandita Monge . nice place but lol Empanadas for sale lol the seats are not too comfortable but anyways its a great local venue with free parking and safe area .
Great shows. Not so great ushering. Some entrances closed.
My sons high school graduation.. Wonderful college.
Beautiful and clean place to visit. Friendly atmosphere. Great acoustics for concerts. Would reccomend for music lovers.
Long walk from the train. High security, not very welcoming.
Great theater. Have attended a few performances and I love the fact that it is not too big. Wherever you sit you get to see the stage good.
This was my first time at Lehman Center Performing Arts and I must say that I was pretty impress with the theater. Our seats were great and the sound was fantastic. Will be returning to this great theater!
The center is ok. The way Lehman sell the tickets and confirms the tickets through LocBox sucks. When LocBox sends invitation when gifts are given, the invitation has no information about the actual event! I tried calling the Box office at Lehman and the staff was incredibly insulting. They kept saying that they did not understand what I was saying. I asked to fax the sheet that I received so that they can see what I am talking and the Box Office Manager Nereida told me that I could fax it but she was leaving?
Really? The invitation was for my father for a June 4th Salsa event. The poor man did not know what the invitation was about. I detest the people at your box office. Lack of professionalism and lack of communication skills.
Good value for Your hard earned dollar. Clean. Comfortable seats. Clean bathrooms. Appropriate temperature. Good selection of talented, varied, national and international artists and company's. Easily accessible via Mass Transit. Problems resolved relatively well. Recommended.
I have been to a couple of latin concerts at Lehman and have enjoyed all the concerts. Very entertaining and I will definitely go to more concerts at Lehman. It is a place where you can go to see a concert and it does not cost too much. I gave four stars because you have to wait on long lines to use the bathroom.
Went to see a show. The place is undergoing restoration but everything was fine.
Celia Cruz the musical was cancelled and in its place they had an actress from the TV show sing the queen of Salsas songs. While that would not have been a bad thing, we came out time see the musical.
