We were on Tuesday, July 21st. there. Corona apparently fails there. Distances are not kept, hardly checked. I've never been to a park so crowded. There were waiting times of at least 30 minutes everywhere. It doesn't matter whether it's a ride or to buy an ice cream.
Although the park is open until 8 p.m., all rides close at 6 p.m. Price / performance and corona protection do not go together.

Very nice park if you are fond of Lego. The attractions (rides) themselves have nothing spectacular, but the Lego blocks in middle of the waiting lines are very much appreciated. The Miniland with millions of blocks is really worth a long visit.

Very long waits. Over an hour to get a card. Food very poor quality for course big money.
In terms of organization have to learn a lot. Otherwise, of course, a great park for the small. You have to bring a lot of patience.

A lot of attractions for Lego fans. The kids are having a great time. Service at every step, kindest and always smiling and always helpful! Before Legoland flutters min. flag of poland (very recently), it's very nice. One day for sightseeing is enough, but if anyone wants to check every attraction, the second hotel works here, you can come for a few days. Catering facilities a large and large selection. However, the prices ... quite expensive, but I do not regret visiting Legoland, and the second time I'm not going to come here.

What an amazing place. Such an adventure wandering through the various themed areas all designed and made from the fantastic little plastic blocks. An absolutely wonderful day. Will definitely be back.

Was more than we expected. Coming from US but never visited a legoland before. The level of LEGO build quality is insane. Hard to comprehend the work that goes into building out the various models. Even if the park was nothing but these, it would be worth a visit. But add in some small but fun amusement rides and it s an ideal family vacation spot.

super fun for a day out, especially with children. they thought it was fantastic.
we had gone on Friday. this was good to do. tip. just come a little before opening time and once in the park go straight to the attraction that you really want to see / do. then there is no row yet! then this may amount to more than an hour wait drill popular attractions.

A bit disappointing, to be honest. So so SO commercial, with food and toy shops EVERYWHERE, and surprisingly little opportunity for hands-on play. Even our local Lego Discovery Center in NY was better in that regard. Perhaps I am spoiled by my amazing experience at Playmobil Park in Germany - I'd recommend that experience hands-down over this one - but... meh. Many of the rollercoaster rides were "too scary" for our 6yo, while others bored him, and the long queues didn't help. He was actually most interested in the model village. We bought a two-day pass, but probably could have done it in one.

Most of the staff very nice and friendly, although also not informed very well (several times we were wrongly informed). Attractions mostly for young children, far less spectacular than the ones in Disneyland. Food a bit too expensive for the quality. But worst were the queues where we had to wait 0,5 h to order some food. Also long queues for attractions. But overall still nice.

Legoland ....... I connect a lot with the name Lego. So I was really looking forward to this park.
Let's start at the front. The park is located DIRECTLY at Billund Airport. Not bad but loud. You practically park next to the planes.
Entry. The prices are quite high at just under 55 euros. There is no discount for children. All pay the same .... About a lego membership, there are now and then discount vouchers you should definitely have.
The entrance. At 10 o'clock go. Yes, we were here during the holidays. The inlet took about 30 minutes. Bags are checked in two places. Not in the middle of the junk ... What that opens up to me is not revealed.
In the park one then enters the Lego Cities area. Beautifully built Lego cities. But now also quite worn and getting old.
The rides .. are partially decorated with Lego. I would have expected more here. Almost all rides are standard stores that have been renamed. Here, the Wild Mouse drives as safari cars, etc. Unfortunately, you are everywhere quite a long time on average 30 minutes and longer. The following trip usually takes less than 1 minute. The blast the Polar roller coaster. Rather a cuddly round trip with a felt 30 seconds duration.
What bothers me the most but the plants .. The Lego figures (to see in the Drachenbahn especially) are felt for years not cleaned. Here is the dirt inches high on it. Some hand and fingerprints give it an idea. And here are figures behind glass !!
Eat Drink. Very expensive. A cotton candy 7 . A scoop of ice cream (rather big) as well. There is also food in an all you can eat restaurant including soft drinks for about 35 euros per person children half. I can not say anything about that. Everything else on the chips menu level of the poorer kind and expensive.
A conclusion. Young children up to 10 think I like it very much. Older people who enjoy rides will be disappointed. The park itself is reasonably clean but looks worn in many places. The staff are friendly but not enough. The prices are worth it in no case. A pity because the name Lego has so much to lose. I would not visit the park again.

The classic that suits younger children, but how can one have a lego country without the opportunity to play properly with lego ?? Very long queues to all rides in July-August, the Lego city does not attract today's children. Good wheelchair access, worse in case of allergy.

Legoland is a wonderful place but you should not visit during the busy season in the middle of the summer. Choose an odd date outside of Danish and German school holidays and you will have a wonderful time.

The problem with the holiday season is the queues. And the fact that you can pay (like in the Disney parks) to skip the queues. This means you will not be able to try the rides and the kids will be bored - unless you pay an additional fee to skip the queues - but that just increases the problem for everybody else. This is of course a result of the park being popular and successful which in itself is good... but it isn't good for the visitors.

The rides are balanced very nicely with something for all ages. The babies have several rides to choose from (merry-go-round, miniature trains, airplanes) and the bigger kids have wild roller coaster rides, the 4D Ninjago ride (very impressive) and much more.

The "Dragon" and "Ninjago" rides have huge queues on busy days and the rides are very short once you get on-board. Hence, try to visit these first, before the queues get too long.

Food at the park isn't fanatstic but the "All-Stars" burger place has improved a lot in the last year. I recommend eating burgers or nuggets there, or go with a hot dog.

The most interesting time of year in the park is Halloween. It is a bit risky since the weather in Denmark is always unpredictable and much more so in the Autumn. But the spooky atmosphere (without scaring children) and everything covered in spider webs and with pumpkins all over the place... you almost get two parks for the price of one :)

Final tip: LegoLand offers free children's tickets with various products. Buying a specific package of bread or pumping gas at a specific gas station chain will get you a coupon. Research where these coupons are. You can only use the coupons at the ticket booths next to the entrance. Once again, queues are a problem so get to LegoLand 15-30 minutes before the park opens (on busy days at least). If you do not go with coupons, buy tickets online several days in advance to get discounts.

Most attractions are aimed at small children, but the Lego cities or recreated facilities in Lego are spectacular! The small towns have working trains, cars, bridges, boats and even locks ... all made of Lego, of course!

Of course, everything is designed for children. Nevertheless, everything was nicely decorated (everything from Lego) and nice rides.
In a day you have everything loose. Staying longer is not worthwhile.

We traveled with 7 children and 6 adults because we had vouchers for egg packs and we wanted to pay in cash but unfortunately only online bookings are allowed during corona times with luck we'll get tickets at 11 a.m. But that didn't work either, so we had to be depressed and very sad children were going home. I recommend everyone to book tickets online beforehand if they don't want to see sad kids. That was a stupid day :-(

Puhhh it was mega full .... no controls ... that made the entrance quite quickly ... but in the park it was just too crowded. You stood forever at the rides, barely got through. When eating you had to bring a lot of patience and time. Price is absolutely overpriced ... both entrance and the food ...

Great theme park experience, but more recommended for the kids. Very positive I noticed that there are actually good food in decent portions. Not to compare with various German amusement parks where bad food is just overpriced. The child likes to come back.

Legoland is first of all a beautiful place, but it is way too overcrowded it said in the Legoland app that it would take 20 minutes to try the eagle rollercoaster and it took 1,2 hours to stand in line. In 5,5 hours I only tried 3 rides. I stood in line for the Ninjago ride but it malfunctioned after waiting in line for 1 hour, so that was kind of disappointing, but things malfunction sometimes and the dragon coaster also didn t work all day. Over all I think there was way too overcrowded for a one day visit.

There is probably no need to introduce a place in ...

There is probably no need to introduce a place in itself. The first Legoland in the world, in the city that is the cradle of LEGO bricks called Billund. A visit there is a dream come true for probably every child who is in contact with LEGO bricks as well as an adult who can not visit this wonderful place in childhood :)
I recommend booking two full days for sightseeing to see the miniland from millions of LEGO bricks, try all the slides, rollercoaster not only once, house of fear and see seasonal shows. A calendar with opening hours and additional attractions is available on the site of the theme park. In May they are usually 10-18 (rollercoasters and other active slides up to 17). A two-day ticket costs PLN 660 for the whole family, provided that you have a coupon for admission free of charge for each adult ticket. The coupons are available on the internet and it seems to me that I have seen them in catalogs with LEGO sets. I printed this one found on the internet. You should have one paper copy for the child. We will not buy tickets on-line this way, only at the box office. I recommend a visit before the season, because there are crowds in the season. We were in May, on Wednesday and Thursday, and we did not wait for ticket offices or any of the attractions. It is available as an application showing the waiting time and having a park map with navigation to attractions. You can take a look at how it looks in the season :) A two-day ticket entitles you to enter on the day of purchase and the second time within six days. There is a huge parking lot for 7,000 cars at the park, which shows the number of people, and Billund is also the second airport after Copenhagen in terms of the number of passengers served. The cost of parking is 50 DKK for a day off, payable in the vending machine or the ticket office of the amusement park. After paying, we get a ticket, which we use to leave the parking lot. You can bring your own food to the park (there are many places where you can eat it). This is very important because the prices of on-site gastronomic services blame the legs. For example, a hot dog costs 20 zlotys, a set of fast-food hamburger and fries is 60 zlotys up, ice cream is 30 per portions. You can leave the park and enter by taking a stamp at the gates.

Cozy and nice amusement park, especially for smaller children, say under 12 or so as our 14 year old got bored rather quickly. Plenty of eateries albeit they are pricy and might be very crowded during lunch time, so many families bring their own food and use a number of picnic areas to take a rest and feed their little ones, and the big ones too :-)

Legoland is a must with the children, but if you are used to a little worse carousels like at Liseberg or green grove then you may be a little disappointed with the supply of legoland. But there is a lot to see.

Legoland is a wonderful park for both children and adults. Have always enjoyed a walk in the park, either just to see the innumerable Lego constructions or take a walk in one of the many fun rides. Have always been greeted by friendly staff. All in all, Legoland in the Billund is worth the visit!

Lovely day out for all children not just the Lego mad ones. Some waiting time required for most rides but the admittance price allows for unlimited rides, between 10 am and 6 pm. The people manning the rides, and working in the shops are friendly and have a good sense of humour. On the other hand there is little information in English, with toilet signs, menu's etc in Danish alone.
The Lego shop is big and well stocked, and you can trade your mini figures with any member of staff or in the shops.
Smoking areas are designated on the map.

Legoland Billund: the original Legoland-park. A nice family park with many rides for especially kids (the main public of this park). If you don't like Lego, this isn't the park for you! Note: this place is very crowded and know that the other Lego-parks (Germany, UK...) are very similar so you don't need to travel to Denmark to experience this Legoland-park.
