Not bad...typical legal seafood restaurant...to outdoor section is lousy

Whenever you think you have had the best seafood you could have stop into the Legal and your mind will be quickly changed. The Salmon was phenomenal!! The service was excellent as well.

Great food and service. Really a New England staple for excellent chowder and seafood. This location especially has nice, modern decor and atmosphere as well.

Love the bar staff! I don't usually seat at the bar to eat, but I definitely do here!

I have been to this location multiple times and I struggle to like it. The menu sucks. It is extremely limited, which would be fine if it served a bunch of basics, but they try to be creative, which means almost every item has at least one ingredient in it that is a no-go for me. If I am forced to return, I will ask to pay full price for something off the kids menu.

Fantastic as usual, extremely accommodating of my brother's nut allergies. We had a "server in training" who was delightful. I had the Hoisin Salmon with Vegetable Pad Thai, fish was cooked perfectly and the glaze was delicious.

The service was terrible an everything I tried ordering was not available. Would not come back or recommend to any one.

The food was good, but had big problems with the check. Our check was $135, the waitress pay another check with our card for $247, we told her that she made a mistake, she said I'm sorry and cancel that check and charged again our card for $135, after the tip the total was $160.
In my bank account appeared until Tuesday both checks, then the $247 check dissapear of my bank account but they charged me another check for $164.00 .
So now we paid for 2 checks, mine for $160 and another charged for $164.
My husband has been calling the whole week every day to asked them for an explanation and for the money back, and every day they said, let me check and I will get back to you and nobody ever get back to us.
We are still waiting for somebody to give us a solution and an explanation.

High end place w low talent....dropped 200 on dinner...my drink was virgin I asked for alcohol figure order haddock i had Bass taste more flavor....I would not ever go again...dropped same $$$ Top of Hub...yes they same price range but not in same league......

Our waiter (David?) was phenomenal! Suggested the crab cake combo & it was perfect for 2 to share.

Excellent food as always. But overpriced for portion size

Food was excellent! (to be fair) but the portions were very small & unbalanced, my side of rice was the largest item on plate. Swordfish kabob was four little nuggets, two cherry tomatoes and a slice of grilled lemon. Not very filling or satisfying. If i wanted to get full on rice i would have gone to pf changs.

Food was delicious and service was great! I went with my boyfriend; there was a mistake in the kitchen so his food didn't arrive at the same time as mine. The manager quickly came over and apologized, offered him a free appetizer, as well as comped his meal (which came out only a few minutes later.) The waitress was also very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We were very happy with the service!

Great food. More expensive than the one in Burlington MA.

*The regular salad had A TON of arugula in it. Personally not a fan, but to each their own.

consistent, high quality food in Boston area. while some may prefer family owned restaurants, I think this chain is high in standards and provides a fair price for great food.

Legal offers a consistently good meal. They are great for gluten free options. They provide a gluten free version of the rolls that are quite tasty and they even offer gluten free options for their fried foods as well which is typically hard to come by. The kids love their popcorn shrimp. I also enjoy the menu at this location which is a bit lighter than the menus that they offer in some of other locations.

Food was very good. The server lady was very courteous and attentive. The Portuguese stew was very good and the appetizers were fulfilling. Location is very nice for a nice stroll after the meal. I recommend the place.

Our waitress was sub par at best. Forgot to bring over the bread, despite being asked twice. Our main arrived before our appetizer. One of our party (party of 2) received the wrong meal. The service wasn't great, the food was ok. Hopefully an off day as I've had much better service at this location.

Business event, they located us in semi private area. Service was excellent , guests all enjoyed there dinner, especially our Asian friends who enjoyed the Lobsre special

This place is horrible my waiter was absolutely ignorant and rushed my date and I. Went there this pass Friday order a lobster roll warm they brought it out cold. Then they brought me a new warm one and the lobster was so tough I couldn not eat it all. They only thing that was good was the bread rolls and the French fries. I seriously didn't go there to eat fries and bread. That was my first time there and it was absolutely horrible. I will never go there again. They don't even deserve 1 star from me. I wish I new the waiters name because I would of called her out she was ridiculously unprofessional

Food is Overhyped. Subpar service. Food not that good. It's more of a "Last resort for option" type of place. The setting is more beautiful than the food and service.

The best part of the meal was the Bang Bang cauliflower. Other than that it was a waste of $196 pre-tip for four people.

First meal on our trip, and it was delicious. We opted to sit outside because it was a nice day. Started off with the sashimi tuna and a couple cocktails. I really enjoyed the gin gin mule. My husband got oysters and scallops; I got the crab cake. All encompassing, it was a delicious, nice meal. It moved at a much slower pace than I'm used to. Not sure if it's because we relaxed for a bit while we waited on our friends to join, if that's just the nature of the area, or what. Otherwise, all pretty good things. It's not a must go to place for me, but it was worth a try.

Very good food and service. Sugar free beverage options = diet coke or unsweetened iced tea. In the future, food establishments will have seltzers flavored AND plain, stevia based sugar free and etc as well. Pretty place. We had to park far even on a Tuesday so they are on their game w r t quality of eatery. Would return in future.

The interior is nice and the staff works well together, however, the menu is limited and the portions are very small..not what you would expected from a Legal Seafood chain. This place was a slight disappointment food wise, but the staff is friendly and professional.

Whole bellied claims not good. Slightly burnt. No accommodations and still paid for it.

Lovely food. A bit pricey when we convert to RSA rands. My son had a burger with bacon jam. I have never tasted anything so heavenly. Will need get sime bacon jam in my house soon

Loved the 'bang bang cauliflower' appetizer. Good food all around. Great location on the river and close to shopping and movie theater.

The food is always good, but not great here. It feels very production rather than crafted with love. Nothing was wrong with my meal but if I was looking for a truly special or a unique experience... I would look elsewhere.

Absolutely hands down the best Seafood restaurant in New England. If you live in Massachusetts or happened to be visiting this is a most go.

Good food but I ordered the cod and thought it was kind of boring. Not enough flavor this time. I should have ordered the lobster it was always Good! For the price it was okay. Wish it was better like it was 15 years ago. I did like our waitress, she was kind and very helpful.
