I am unable to give a review because when you call to set up an appointment, you have to leave a voice message. I called early on a Monday and had to call back on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, two days before my appointment, I had to go out of town and called to reschedule my appt. Once again, no live person or being placed in line...left another message. I have a job that does not allow me to take personal phone calls. Going to find another Dr where we don't have to play phone tag!

I have been going to see my cardiologist here for the past (5) years....and it's been a lengthy process every visit. She is fantastic (Dr. Samann)...but the office has always been inefficient with time management. I have never seen a more unorganized "check out" system in my life...so I just bypass it each visit now...and go on with my life...and they have to call me to follow-up. They came up with a new number system now (they hand you a number for check out)...but there is no process put in place to utilize a number system on the back end when you arrive in the waiting area....laughable there. I just need to make it mandatory I guess that my visits are scheduled at the Spring Creek office.....they are much more efficient there.

Dr Prewitt or shall I even rate him as a Dr.??? Especially a Cardiologist ? Prewitt seems somewhat challenged by surgery but has no problem filing with insurance company to collect his money even though procedure was never done that was intended .. His office staff is the worst , very rude at the time , told me I had to wait a month for results after surgery that Prewiitt was too busy to talk or even see me .. I wanted to know what the findings were during surgery and what was done because experiencing the exact pain as before !! NO information given . So on my BIRTHDAY
weeks later LIVING with the pain I gave myself a Birthday Gift and saw another Cardiologist ! He pulled records from Prewitt at hospital and Surgery was done immediately on what Prewitt seemed was I assume incapable to attempt !! Why Was This??? To not even call me is unacceptable .
This is years ago but I will never forget this nightmare he put me through

Dont go here! They are only about the money and dont care about your health and well being. I have been treating here for a few years and I am still suffering with high blood pressure and nothing is being controlled...I call all the time to try and fix it and they just avoid me and give me medicine after medicine that doesnt work and I am suffering from severe side effects as well and they are not bothered by this. Spoke to them about this today and I was told that if you dont like your care, that you should move on. I have moved on! I will take my business elsewhere and get to the bottom of my issue from a REAL cardiologist that cares and actually wants me to feel better. If I were you I would avoid this place and especially if you don't have insurance--they will avoid you even more. They are more worried about the money that they pocket then the care that they give. STAY AWAY!

It used to be fantastic till Baylor, then Scott & White took over! Now instead of well known and experienced doctors, u get to see RN! Not good!
I would say if you are a cardio patient , find a better place! This practice is not for you!

Never in my life have i had such a negative experience to where I felt i needed to write a review. Hey i work in healthcare and have seen a lot but this office is awful. i arrived 15 minutes before my appointment, was told I had to pay for a lab/ procedure upfront because it was most likely that my insurance won t cover it. I obviously wanted to doublecheck so I stepped off to the side and gave my insurance a call.I returned a few min later, told them lets go ahead with the procedure, and I was told I had to reschedule because i didn t pay before my appt time. What?!! I was there!!! The physicians should know their office staff and ridiculous policies are going to drive them to negative satisfaction scores and ultimately bad reviews for Baylor Scott and White Legacy Heart Center. I can find another cardiologist who s office staff actually cares for their insurance paying patients.

FIRST VISIT - First of all, the wait was too long for the purpose. I went through an EKG test and blood pressure tests. The Doctor's visit (after the tests) was too brief for me to judge his abilities - I don't know how knowledgeable he is or how caring he could be. He just told me that the EKG was not normal and shows slow electrical signal (block) is detected. I am not sure what that meant and how serious of a matter it could be. After the long wait and short doctor's visitation, I was given a plastic number tag for check out. Frankly the waits were too long for me so after 15 minutes of checkout wait, I left the plastic number tag on one of the check out desks and walked out.
TEST SCHEDULING - I did not get a follow up call from Legacy Heart Center (LHC), so I decided to call them and see what we will be doing next. They scheduled two tests for me echo and stress test. To cut the story short, I went through the same song and dance to have my tests done. It took several staff members to figure out whether I came in as standby or I had schedule a test. This was despite scheduling the test themselves and giving me a computer-delivered phone reminder.
THE TESTS DAY - During the test, the echo technician just did not seem to be able to get good readings. She was pressing the ultra sound device into my ribs so hard that my skin and bone were red and sore for days after. I guess she had not been told that bones are not flexible and pressing into them does not get her any closer to the subject.
The stress test went accident free; however, the specialist took the graphs to the doctor who was in charge of reading the EKGs that day. She came back saying that the results did not indicate any problems. Note that I did not see the doctor at all that day.
THE WAIT - As far as the other test (echo) is concerned, since I did not hear anything from LHC, bad or good, I decided to call them and see why they are not acting on something that is so important which could mean the difference between life and death. I have not been able to get the physician assistant/nurse practitioner on the phone. We are playing phone tags for now. The amusing thing is that the person that called me back and left a message, did not even state her name. She stated she was calling from Legacy Heart Center. Well I am still trying to find out whatever was the result of my echo test. They don t seem to be in any kind of rush even though they are aware that the patient is desperate to know what he/she is up against.
In my opinion, the staff is too poorly trained for a service so important. I would say the rating is plain POOR (not poor-fair).
Good Luck!

Lady who scheduled my appointment tried to push me into an unneeded consultation then gave me the wrong information on the location of the facility causing me to lose valuable time at work. I m sorry but no matter how valuable the doctors time as it s not more valuable than mine.

I really like Dr. Samaan however the scheduler who said her name is Tonya is the worst and it looks like I m not the only one with complaints. I think I m experiencing something pretty serious medically that would warrant an expedited appointment and she gives me one option that s a few days out and a time that I can t make so then she offers me over a week out! Really??? Then she was rude about it. Because of this Ive decided to change to my husbands cardiologist.

I went for an ultrasound of my heart and a stress test. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The two people that did my tests were awesome. We talked about all kinds of different things which helped to make it a less stressful experience. They were even able to get me back quicker than I expected with out making me feel rushed at all.

11-1-19 Unreal - I thought the comments and Reviews about horrible, rude service were exaggerations. Not even close to describe it. Started booking an appointment over the phone and the receptionist was so unfriendy and rude I just hung up. Will try somewhere else.

Dr Kennedy saved my life. I was in pain and sick. I could hardly breathe for the pain across my back. Other cardiologists said, you've been moving furniture, or lifting something heavy and that's probably why you're hurting. I had not lifted anything or moved anything. Other doctors told me I should relax, but doctor Kennedy actually examined my heart and there was a 95% blockage. I had experienced a heart attack at 38 years old. I would have died if it wasn't for his wisdom. I'm grateful to God for him and his staff. Thank you.

The Doctors and Facilities are great, I would recommend them, their billing through Baylor or HealthTexas Provider Network leaves a lot to be desired, a bill 9 days old is considered Past Due and they can't figure how much you owe between the office a their billing network.
We are considering finding doctors that use a different service.

The nurse for Dr.Sayfo Jenifer R T is the worst nurse I ve ever meet she is the one you have to get through to get a appointment. She s like a policewoman running the office like a mad dog . I think Dr.Sayfo is one of the best doctors in the area but beware of the nasty nurse .

first, my appointment that was at 7:30 am, no one was even in the office until 7:40. They wanted me to be at the office early to fill out paper work.
the doictor wanted to run an EKG that was already run two times in the last two weeks. Dr. Nair was to have information from the ER and another doctors office already at his office before he met with me..
He sets another test that was not needed and nothing was found. All he is, is a person with a peice of paper but doesnt know how to apply any thing in his practice.
It looks like all they do is pass a patient around until the money runs out. I went in with the same problems going in as I have going out. He was so stupid a topic we already covered in both appopintments and just covered he asked just two minutes after we talked about it, if I had this issue. I had to ask him what we just talked about and he goes "OH". Only then did he realize we just talked about it. You know it just might help if a doc would listen to a patient. When it is all about the money a doc just needs to see as many patients as posible to charge office visits. LISTEN TO THE PATIENT IF YOU WANT RESULTS OR TO HELP A PERSON.

He is a joke and gives Doctors a bad name.
Run if you hear his name. Looks like he wants to run test to keep a money flow. He did and accomplished nothing.
Maybe if he would listen to the patient he could help someone instead of take the money and run.
This is the way I felt treated whether he ment it or not. Bottom line staff and Doc is terrible. If you have a 7:30 appointment at least be there to open the dooor instead of a locked door. You ask for the patient to be there early to fill out papaer work at least you can do is be there early to open the door.
Now does this sound like an office that cares about the patient or the bottom line?

They were late for an appoint by 30 minutes and today I was 15 minutes late and they cancel the appointment. Wants you to see too many specialist. Not convenient unless you live in Plano

I have been trying to make an appointment for ages. After being on the line for 20 minutes each call someone just hangs up on me. I ve only spoke to a person once and she too hung up on me. This is ridiculous.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about Legacy Heart Center. The check in process was easy. Everyone was so friendly & helpful. Most importantly, the medical care is incredible. Dr. Al-Azizi is very thorough. I had 2 ultrasounds today & the tech (Peggy) was very reassuring and knowledgeable. Great patient experience!!

My visit this morning was less than satisfactory. The male individual performing my test was very pleasant and understanding. However, the doctor who shared my results/explanation of my test, stood in the doorway/hallway and was completely dismissive. He stated, your test are great and I'll make sure Dr. Mckenzie gets your results, then hurried away. At this point, I'm totally confused as to why I'm not seeing Dr. Mckenzie. No one advised me I would be seeing a different physician. The additional test I was supposed to have was not yet available for me. While I understand we have to remain cautious and careful, no patient should have to have their doctor share their results from a doorway/hallway. It's unprofessional, it devalues the services rendered, and made me feel as though my concerns for my health are not important. I'm so disappointed and disheartened with my experience today. I've never written a complaint, but I've also never left a doctor's appt with more questions than answers either. #DoBetter

Dr Bakshi is an angel! He takes his time, explains things and genuinely cares about how you feel. The staff is amazing, there's no long wait. Many doctors are knowledgeable and experienced, but few are empathetic and don't rush you! I hope u won't need a cardiologist but if you do, I highly recommend Dr. Sahil Bakshi.

Great if you can get past the appt lady. Never could get an appointment to see my Dr. They asked me a series of questions (20 minutes worth and finally had to end the call to get my kid to school) and never got to the appointment! We never got through the questions, they were repeated and she kept reasking me the same stuff and trying to type (which I could hear her pecking). What a mess. Still don't have an appointment so I guess I will change doctors.

I have been with Legacy Heart since they were over on Coit. I had a procedure by one of their doctors in 2004 that caused me an immediate heart attack and surgery. That doctor was immediately removed (never saw him again), and I was given Dr. Morales. I have been very happy with my care from him, but yesterday received a call that after all these years Baylor Heart Hospital and Dr. Morales will no longer be seeing me as they are dropping our insurance and we need to look for another cardiologist. All about money, nothing about caring for the person. Rather sad! BTW, there is no question I could have sued and lived happily, but I chose to care about the person and know everyone makes mistakes. Wish they felt the same way.

The doctor is fine. The track record on returning phone calls is terrible. Three calls and messages - no return call. Their system states that calls are returned within 24 hours. Just doesn't indicate which year and month that 24 hour window occurs in.

This was a great facility until Baylor took over. I got extremely sick & they turned me into a collection agency. I didn t receive anything about this. So, I am going to HCA facilities from here on out. I will no longer see any Baylor doctor or visit any Baylor Hospital, which I have had nothing but bad experiences at anyway. I d soon die first before using another Baylor facility. I did not feel they cared about me, only the money. That is what they care about the most. I am done with Baylor.

I scheduled an appointment for a Vein Mapping and follow up months in advance around a busy work, school, and travel schedule. I received a call today from the Legacy Heart office asking to change my appointment. They could not make any of my other days work and insisted on cancelling my carefully planned appointment. I really needed this Vein Mapping and now have to wait longer to get an appointment elsewhere. Additionally, I paid to schedule travel plans around this. Disappointing service and poor customer care.

Made an appointment for my husband. When he showed up they had canceled the appointment without any prior notification, claimed that it was his fault for not receiving the phone imaginary phone call. The lady that helped him was unprofessional in manner and speech. Like most adults he has to work and does not have the luxury of this kind of time. We will never go back to their office again. DO NOT USE THEM.

The entire staff at the Legacy Heart Center is first class. The doctors are excellent and come very highly recommended. The support staff of various techs and administrative personnel are all very professional, very personable, and just a really great group of people who tend to all your needs in a very efficient and effective way. All my appointments have occurred as scheduled, except one (and it was only ten minutes late). The waiting area is very nicely done, very tasteful.

If I had one thing that I would ask them to change, it would be reading material. While there is a wealth of material on health related issues, I would appreciate the occasional Sports Illustrated, Car and Driver, or The Economist. Something to help occupy me when I arrive early for an appointment.

Bottom line, I would highly recommend this facility and its physicians/technicians.

I have been waiting for weeks to see a cardiologist (holter monitor results were not good), they called today to say they have to reschedule this Friday's appt. They could see me on October 3rd now. What?! It's my heart we are talking about not a hair appt that can wait. I found another clinic right away and I have an appt on Monday.

Had a stress test done in January got a call in April saying somehow I fell through the cracks and there was an abnormality now I need a nuclear stress test...3 months later! Been trying to talk with nurse for several days regarding the results and another issue. She finally calls this morning and leaves message she will not be in office today wants me to try back again on Monday. The track record on returning phone calls is terrible. Multiple calls and messages - no return call. Horrible!
